Got this as a present for my husband who is a big chap so wanted something strong. This chair more than met my expectations. It is quite heavy but seems very robust. It looks like it should have cost more than it did. Delivery was about 5 days but still one day ahead of schedule. Very pleased with it and so is he. It arrived undamaged but packaging wasn’t great, just cardboard wrapped around and sellotaped, contents could be clearly seen at either end, but as I said it survived unscathed.

Best One I’ve Found
Ok, this is a super chair, one of the best products I’ve ever bought and has held up under severe testing. Way more comfortable and sturdier than the rest. I take them on fishing trips where it can get rough and have gone through three of the Bed Bath & Beyond heavy duty chairs that eventually collapsed on me. I weigh 250 so lots of torque generated in rough seas. That was a pretty comfortable chair which we use by the pool but this Timber Ridge is way more comfortable and much sturdier. I’ve had one for two years now and it seems indestructible. The slide out tray, ridged for a phone, is very handy. This one is for my wife.

Broke just before the 3rd year using
I loved this chair but one of the pipe broke so it is tilting and not stable ,not safe anymore.I loved this chair so much while it was in shape so I gave another try on this company but different style. Let’s see how long the new one last. My weight is 150pound

Comfortable chairs
These are a little difficult to recline but once you’ve managed to get them in the reclined position they are super comfortable. The lockes did not work on this chair but were good on the XL Tan chair. Love that they are not low to the ground. We are tall and we’re able to easily stand from a seated position. If you are over 6′ I recommend cutting a pool noodle to fit the foot bar, for comfort. Overall, great chair.

Our new camping companion
Got this Chair for camping trip and I am in love with this . The Chair is very well built and comfrotable . The material is good and the best thing which I liked is it has an adjustable head rest and a Cup holder. It streches all the way and is comfortable for resting. The Chair was delivered with in couple of days and was perfect timing for our camping vacation to take this out and do a live test 🙂 . The chair came in clean and the package was easy to unpack and setup , there is no need to dismantle . It’s easy to carry while you are traveling . It take less than a min to setup while using and to pack it back . I am expecting this to last for many more Camping and beach trips 🙂 ..

Overall nice chair to relax in
I have used the chair since last year, and overall I am happy with the purchase. However, I have found it uncomfortable to rest my arms on the hard plastic arms of the chair. Also the bar at the bottom of the chair is uncomfortable to my Achilles tendon. Given the price of the chair (which is definitely pricey), it would have been nice if the manufacturer had placed some cushioning in these areas. So today I went to the dollar store and bought 2 foam pool noodles. I cut the noodles in half and then sliced open the noodles and attached them to the arms and the bar at the bottom of the chair using duct tape. Not necessarily the most aesthetic solution, but it seems to work pretty good and only cost $2.

Great Camping Chair
I got this to take on camping trips and relax in after a day of hiking and it does not disappoint. Very sturdy and very well made, I like to lean it all the way back and “rest my eyes”. The tray with the cup holding is a nice touch as well. The only problem is that me and my wife fight over who gets to sit in it. Probably time to buy one more. Great outdoors chair.

Pretty stiff chair
We purchased this chair for my husband who has had several back surgeries and only finds relief in a zero gravity chair. In the past we bought the La Fuma brand chairs. We tried some other brands and they were not the same. We decided to try this brand as it was a lot less expensive than the La Fuma brand and I was able to get it in a color that would look decent in my living room. We did pay top dollar for the Timber Ridge, where if we has waited we could have gotten one for less the half the price we paid. The Timber Ridge is very well made. It does give him relief. However, it is a very stiff chair. Not a lot of cushion to it. If you plan on sitting in it for long periods of time you would want a cushion for it. We looked into buying a cushion for it, but we are not sure it would work very well. So currently he is just sitting on a very stiff chair. Not quite the same as a LaFuma, but it is close.

These are the real zero gravity of chairs.
These are the real deal, not the cheaply made knockoffs everyone is selling. I got my first one of this type build six years ago, my buddy loved it and had to have one, but we could only find the lower budget models most places are selling. My buddy was very unhappy with the one they got; it did not go back enough to give you the zero-gravity feeling, build quality nowhere close; this one has it all and then some!Not only is the build design and feel similar to my old one, but this is also a nice upgrade with better eyelets, extra padding layer. I was so impressed when I saw the difference in the two he got; I bought a second one of these to replace my older one with this nice looking newer upgrade.The look, the feel, the build quality make it worth paying more than the lesser quality ones.

Happy overall
I’ve only had it for two days, but so far I can say that I’m happy with this chair. I bought it hoping that it would be a good chair for my husband to relax in, but since he has some health issues, he has trouble getting in and out of the chair on his own, so that is a disappointment. I don’t have any trouble with that, but do admit that you have to approach getting in this chair a little differently than usual. I also wish that you didn’t have to “lock” and “unlock” every time you want to reposition yourself. I have the fear that eventually the locking mechanisms will break, although it seems pretty sturdy. It is very comfortable and I’m planning to try to nap in it soon!

These are VERY nice
So we had some Cabelas zero gravity chairs for a few years, they died after extensive use. Didn’t like a few features on the newer version, did some serious recon and decided to go with these. We love them! They are TBH a little “cheaper” made, all plastic arms and a few lesser materials where the others had wood. BUT the main feature is the level at which they recline to TRUE zero gravity. These are the only chairs that do this. All the other come close but dont go back far enough for actual star gazing in extreme comfort. I cant give a 5 star only because I dont know if they will stand the test of time and elements. We LOVE the table feature as well. Very much recommend.

Soft and comfortable seating
The fully padded seating is soft and comfortable! Although it’s summer now , it’s not hot to lie with the wind blowing. Winter will be more comfortable . Easy to lay down. The side table can fold down. Good product.

Timber Ridge Zero Gravity Chair Oversized – Great Product, Well Made & Worth Every Penny!
I absolutely love my Timber Ridge Zero Gravity Chairs. I looked at many gravity chairs in local department stores. I specifically wanted an “oversized” chair, which stores did not carry. I am always a bit apprehensive about products on line, i prefer to see, feel, look up close on the quality. Since I could not find anything acceptable at local stores…I decided to take a chance on the Timber Ridge Zero Gravity Chair Oversized Recliner which had many great reviews. All I can say is WOW, the reviews were correct, Great Quality, Comfortable, Great Colors, Sturdy, may cost a bit more than other chairs…but definitely worth it. I absolutely, unequivocally recommend this product. You’ll be glad you did purchase. I’d buy this product again in a heartbeat!

Great chair.
Great chair. I purchased this because I had a knee surgery coming up and thought it would really help me keep my leg elevated post surgery. Fast forward a week later and after surgery I lived in this chair for a week in my family room. I have a nice recliner but this puts my leg up higher to help reduce swelling. I have slept in the chair three nights and sat in it every day. It’s well made the cup holder and table work well and are nice. This chair was priceless for my recovery. Can’t wait till next summer to use it outside on my covered deck for a nice summer outdoor nap. Highly recommend. Little pricey compared to others but you get what you pay for.

Edit: Updated to 5 stars for the great customer service. The side table can be replaced.This is a great chair, comfy and well made. I would have given it 5 stars if the slide out side table didn’t break the first time I took the chair out when camping. I know, I’m the idiot that struggled to pull out the side table and then forgot to slide it back in when i attempted to collapse the chair. Yes I should have stopped when I felt some resistance when folding the chair but it was my first time out. The chair still works great except now it’s missing a side table.

Lay back and relax
I bought this chair for camping, but I use it outside on my patio as well. Its very comfortable. I like chairs that lean back. If you like sitting straight up all the time you should probably go with something else. Anyhow, I had a different reclining chair before and it was good but it ripped open under the knees where it bends and my cat pissed on it so I tossed it and got this one. So far cat likes to sit on it so it doesn’t stink. The side table is very sturdy. I usually keep 2 bottles of beer on it, no problem. It’s a little hard to get out of cause I’m getting old and fat, but so worth it as its very comfortable. I like the adjustable head rest as I move it down for lower back support. Would highly recommended this chair even if it’s a little more pricey as it’s very well made.

Loved the Chairs Until …
I loved these chairs the first year. Comfortable and easy to recline. After that, in the second year every time it rained the chairs took days to dry out. Just when I thought the seat was dry and you sat down, the water from the padding soaked into your clothing. In the third year – not used at all because the seat was continually wet – the seat just split. I own two chairs and one is going to the garbage. I am disappointed.

Back pain relief
I had two herniated discs and one was compressing a nerve root making my leg and hip painful and my left foot numb. I slept in this chair because it was the only thing that would elevate the pain. I’m sitting in it now after having a microdiscectomy. I’m sure it would be great to take camping too..

Pricey, But Worth It
This chair is a high-quality product from what we can see. I was a little concerned when I saw the bungees were not warranted but these chair will get used only when we camp with our travel trailer so there should be plenty of life in them. Very comfortable in any position, the versatility of the chair has us smiling. And we really like the fact that the bungees are covered so you don’t get any body parts pinched….yikes!!! The only design issue I see is that when you chose not to use the attached plastic table, it just hangs under the seat with no way to secure it in place other than using a personal small bungee. But we should use it almost all of the time so I am hoping it will not be an issue.

Very well-built and sturdy chair. Clever design with adjustable neck or lumbar support cushion and swing-up cup and book holder. I guess these zero g chairs are all designed this way, but in order to get your feet up in a recliner position, you have to lay back nearly horizontally. It would be nice if you could sit more upright and have your feet up. Anyway, very comfortable and should be very durable.

A great chair for a big guy or actually anyone
I purchased this chair on August 14, 2020. In July, 2021 the chair throws in a locked position and would no longer recline. I contacted the manufacture and their response was immediate. After a couple of email exchanges with unsuccessful recommendations of trying to fix it, The manufacturer is replacing the item. This was done expeditiously, with the utmost courtesy and customer concern. I’d recommend the product to anyone looking for this type of chair because you can buy it with the peace of mind of knowing Ada and the company is behind you and also the product is exceptional.

One of the most disappointing purchases ever
I’m not usually one to wrote reviews, especially bad ones but this chair made me change my mind. Pictured is the chair I bought from this same brand at least 5 years ago and this one that has literally faded in a one month in the sun. (While the other had been the same spot for months before this one even arrived) in the second picture I moved the headrest down so you can see how fast it has faced. This is an outdoor chair why is it fading so fast? The previous chair from this company has been excellent and used at the beach multiple times but they have clearly started to cut corners. Not only has the fabric faded almost immediately but the stitching is already fraying in places, the finish is now an easily scratched, cheap, flat black instead of the hammered paintjob on the old one, the new one already creaks, even the companies stitched logo is smaller and cheaper looking now. Like I said, I’m not one to do reviews but this is an absolute travesty of an outdoor chair, especially when stacked up against the old one, that ironically cost only about half of this one 5 years ago. Y’all need to go back to the drawing board on this because if you keep cutting corners like this you might as well just shut the doors. 🤬

Great Lounge Chair. Needs a Pool Noodle Footrest
For the money, it’s pretty darn good. I’m 6′ tall and had a tough time trying to get my feet someplace comfortable above or behind that foot bar at the bottom. So I finally added a pool noodle and it’s pretty darn good now. The other consideration is that the cord that holds the tarp (for lack of a better term) to the frame is a small diameter bungee cord material. No idea how long the elasticity in it will last. Probably a factor of weather conditions and exposure to UV. I suppose it would be replaced eventually though. I’m planning on keeping it inside though, so I have minimal concern about it.

I had a fitting pop out after a couple years of using it and I called the Timber Ridge Co. Nice friendly guy picked up the phone on the second ring, no recorded systems etc, I was surprised a human answered the phone for a change. We were looking for a couple of Gravity Chairs to use on our screened porch. My husband is 6’4″ and I am 5’9″ so we were looking for chairs that were a good size and sturdiness; these Timber Ridge Zero Gravity Chairs are perfect.The blue and grey colors are as pictured and fit perfectly with our house decor. The padding is not cushy, but is substantial and looks like it will last. The locks work nicely for securing a position after rotating (a problem on many zero gravity chairs). My mother’s only complaint is that the foot bar is a tripping hazard and she can’t comfortably get her footing when getting in and out of the chair without stepping on it – but I believe that is fairly common to these chairs. I would say that “extra long” probably applies to the torso – I have long legs and it feels pretty short to me. In general, though, the chair feels to be good quality and well-manufactured.

Great chair.
Really like the pull out table with cup and phone holder. Also like the adjustable pillow. It’s sturdy and comfortable for heavier people. The thing that really sold me is it was long enough to rest my feet on when reclined. I looked at a lot of zero gravity chairs in stores and hated having my feet dangle off the end when reclined. My height is only 5’6″ and wanting to be completely on a chair didn’t seem like a lot to ask for. I was so happy to find a zero gravity chair I could rest my feet on, and the phone holder is a cool idea. I am very happy with all aspects of this chair.

A Very Good Chair But not Perfect
Bought a pair of these for our RV to take to campsites. Once you get into one, it is quite comfortable. A huge PLUS is that our camping coffee mugs actually fit into the drink holder. The MINUS is that they are just a bit awkward to get in and out of. Also they are a bit heavy – but that is really an indicator of quality, I hope! Also bought their matching ‘Director’s Chairs’ which are easier to get in and out.

Finally a Zero Gravity Chair that fits long leg people!
The listing included a variety of size chairs – and all were called XL. At under 150 lbs, I didn’t need those big wide chairs, but all the normal size chairs either result in my Achilles tendons on the metal bar or knees off the chair. This one actually works without being too wide. Quite comfortable. Be sure to make sure you are ordering the chair with the dimensions you want. Timber Ridge is one of the few that actually give the dimensions of their chairs.

I’m very pleased with this particular recliner. It’s comfortable and I liked the price. I’ve been having back problems and not able to sleep in a bed, and I found I could sleep in this recliner. It wasn’t as warm on the back side as I would have liked, for the purpose of sleeping, but it was good enough. The “oversize XL” I take to mean a few extra inches in width, which while not required were very much appreciated. This particular one advertises and aluminum frame, and I believe it is a little lighter weight than an all steel frame and I appreciated the lighter weight.

Comfortable, sturdy chair
This chair is very comfortable. You can easily fall asleep in it if you recline it. Recline is easy to operate. Seems sturdy enough for me (190 lb). Frame and other materials seem to be of good quality. I’ve only had it a few months so I don’t know how well it will hold up over the years.

We’re really impressed with the quality of these chairs. The fabric is especially sturdy and durable. I’m petite so it’s great that the headrest will slide up and down to accommodate my height. The side table was thoughtfully designed with a deep cupholder, as well as the slot for your phone. I really feel like they thought of everything for this chair. I think we’ll enjoy them for a long time.

The two chair I got seem very stiff. It doesn’t release back without assistance. I have to almost shove it backwards with force. Yes, the two locking mechanisms are fully released. I am hoping in time the chairs will loosen.
