I bought this as a spare bed for overnight visitors, but I also use it as a seat. It was easy to assemble, although it did take a few minutes to work out the ratchet system that operates the back of the seat to lay it flat. As a seat it is comfortable, but I feel it would be quite firm as a bed.

Easy to assemble. Easy to unfold and make into a bed. Sturdy frame. Very hard, you need a good topper on it to make it comfortable. Bought it for the spare room and will only be used occasionally. Looks nice as a chair….but again, it’s hard.

Upon inspecting the chair/bed i was impressed with the good workmanship also i looks at the metals fixtures and hinges , if well care for and the hinges well cleans and well oiled , i can tell my chair/bed can last a good 10 or more years , also there’s room for improvement as while the chair/bed is flat i use a double bed quilt and fold it in half with 6 pillows in between and it’s fix nicely on my chair/bed , I’ve slept on it many times and yeah i did get a good sleep .Be mindful as if using it outdoor always make sure the metals fixtures and hinges are well clean and well oiled more often than using indoor which i am doing also outdoor can affect the longevity of the chair/bed , I’m very happy with my chair/bed and hehe i fill in this review while lying on my comfortable chair/bed ,Not suitable for anyone taller than 5fts 6ins or 167.64cm

This chair bed is very handy if we have guests. Opens up easily, we use it in the small bedroom and our guests haven’t had any complains. Only as expected, it is a bit low.

The chair arrived a day early which was great .The carrier was yodel and I was out at the time. I came home checked the tracking and was alarmed to see item delivered and signed for BY ME !!!! I eventually found it propped against the back wall of the house but couldn’t bring it in as too heavy. If i had been in not only would I have signed for it but would have asked the courier to lift it into my hall.Shame !!! Now it is assembled in my bedroom I love it!

Because of Covid, I am isolating from my family in the guestroom where I have this. It is fine as a chair but after having spent 6 nights on it trying to sleep, I have to say, it’s not as comfortable as I’d hoped. Although it is an excellent base for an inflatable matress.

It looks quite nice but is very firm because the cushioning is quite thin. It feel like sitting on a padded dining table chair but obviously bigger.Very easy to put together, just screw on the feet and 4 bolts attach the seat to the frame, it is also very easy to fold in/out.I don’t think I would want to sit on it regularly, it is nothing like a sofa/armchair but it’ll do for occasional use in the spare room. Definitely not for every day use, unless you add some kind of topper. Don’t expect it to be super comfortable as either a chair or bed.Will it last? I’m not so sure. I have a feeling that with regular use the padding will getting even thinner.It isn’t bad but it isn’t great either.

This chair bed is good quality for the money. It looks nice in my sons bedroom. He uses it as a chair but my grandchildren have slept on it and it’s fine. It arrived very quickly and takes hardly any assembly.

I was totally dissatisfied in how the product was delivered, leaving at my neighbor’s house outside leaning against the wall when I was in to receive the parcel. But overall this has no fault on MH Star as I am very pleased with the product, and to which when logged the complaint in I was contacted notifying me how very sorry they are plus giving me a phone call today which I very much apricate and so giving me a 10% refund for the problem caused.It has now being investigated , but my thanks to MH Star. WELL DONE!!!!

I’m very pleased with this purchase. (I’ve had a heavy metal fold up bed before which was past it’s best). This new bed chair arrived in almost miraculous time. It was easy to put together (I’m in my seventies with arthritis so was glad about that). It’s very smart as a chair and easily converts to a small single bed. It wouldn’t do for a large or tall person but for the average short stay guest it’s great. As a chair it’s has a very firm seat so I would suggest that the bed would need a nice thick mattress topper for comfort.

The single sofa bed was delivered on time. There was minimal assembling and all the equipment needed to to was included (it didn’t take 5 minutes). It is firm to sleep on but I purchased a silent night single bed topper which fits on ( albeit a little big) a fitted sheet over the top and my grandchildren prefer sleeping on it to they beds.

The chair bed was incredibly easy to assemble and pulls out very quickly too. Quality wise, it’s generally ok, although one of the feet is welded on poorly, so it isn’t flat on the ground. It doesn’t affect the chair and I didn’t want the hassle of returning!

The sofa chair is an ideal size for a smaller room when you need an extra single bed for a child or occasional use by adults – it’s nice looking, compact when folded up and comfortable enough and easy to open into a single sofa bed . I have purchase a silent night topper for added comfort as suggested on Amazon “bought together with”. I am very pleased with the product and it’s value for money and delivery was amazingly prompt.

Needed a compact sofa bed for very occasional use, this sits nicely in the corner of the study and is a useful occasional chair. To convert it into a bed takes @30secs and the clever steel frame design offers a very stable platform, so no wobbling about.Its great and surprisingly comfortable for occasional use, I am not sure the foam or fabric would tolerate continuous use for long, but as a standby bed that takes up little room and looks fine as a chair I would recommend it.

Nice product. Wider than I thought it would be so that was a bonus. My partner uses it in his man care when he is on shift work so he doesn’t wake the baby. He’s a heavy guy. Holds him well. Cant comment on how comfy it is on its own as we bought a 4″ memory topper with my partner having a bad back. Just his preference for something comfy. He sleeps sound on it.

The hardest thing was getting it out of the box. Assembling is easy but getting the head board to lie flat is quite a knack. Will be ideal for visitors, so will be put through its paces next week.

Great purchase. Looks lovely however the metal wasnt flush with the plastic on the chair feet. when tightening and I cut my hands open… the metal was extreamly sharp! So be careful

We bought two grey Single Sofa Bed Futon Chairs. One arrived the day after ordering and the second, the day after that. They are very easy to assemble with the provided allen key. No other tools are required. The chairs are very strong and when extended to bed mode are very stable, which was concern to us when choosing these types of bed. When in bed mode they are not quite as long as other beds, but ideal for our setting for the grandchildren when they can stay over.

Very comfortable as a chair, also nice to use as a day bed/working space. Bit hard and narrow for sleeping, but for a night here and there, it’s acceptable, probably best saved for overnight guests you’d rather not have.

The cat approved! It’s really useful for us as we are on a narrowboat. We got two and they push together to make a decent double bed and I love that I can put my back rest up or down without the other one adjusting too. It feels strong and sturdy. For sleeping on we added a memory foam topper for extra comfort
