I’m very near the top of the weight limit and 5’8’’ but I felt really safe and comfortable sitting on this chair.Other comments talked about bar digging in to back of thigh. I did notice this after prolonged use (I’d used the chair over a 5 hour event) but it wasn’t really an issue until later in the day.First time sitting down I was nervous it’d collapse but it was very secure once I sat back properly. Getting out of the chair feels a bit difficult as it feels wrong to put too much weight on handles. But I did and chair was fine. Not small to cart around. But being a chonk I’m not exactly fit and was ok to carry it half a mile to our event.Best buy in a while.

I bought this chair for a few camping trips I have planned in the summer. To start off with I immediately noticed the weight of the chair is quite a lot heavier than standard chairs you’d get from supermarket. I learned the hard way to check the product weight first before I buy as my wild camping spot is quite a distance to be carrying everything including alcohol for the 2 days. The chair itself is lovely to sit in. Very comfortable and plenty of room in-between the armrests. The chair is also quite deep as well. I also noticed a small rip in the seam of the carry bag on my way to the campsite, fast forward halfway through the hike back the rip had broke more than halfway down the bag so I’ll have to hold it together with tape for the next journey.Overall I’m very pleased with the chair. The bag could be a bit more durable and it is heavy but that’s the cost you pay for a very comfy chair.
Elizabeth Bennett –
Very strong, sturdy seat for the heavier person. Only downside the arm rests are fabric and give nothing stable to press on to stand up easily. Perfectly o.k for a person who is heavy but has fair to good mobility.
Susan baggs –
This chair is brilliant nice and big and strong, love the cool bag what on the side of it, perfect for this weather can of beer in cup holder , and a couple spare in cooler brilliant
Sean W. Mellor –
Ok first the good, week built, sturdy, heavy, good carry bag, folds easily , cup holder is solid, cooler pocket works, little gear pocket also helpful for you specs. iPad iPhone or kindle etc.Good support on the back and buttocks. So far also the easiest to get in and out of, I always find camp chairs punch my legs n knees making getting up tricky- mind the knackered ankle n knee don’t help. Now the bad. I don’t know what it is but every single camp chair I’ve ever sat in, except the vango titan, always dig into the back of my thighs, with my butt at the back of the chair the front of the seat digs into the back of my knees, if sat further forward the backs and sides of my legs. Further more if sat further back my feet barely touch the ground, I’m 6’2”.My other can curl up in it which she likes but if sat her feet wave about like a toddler on dining chair. If you’re are big man or woman (or identify as such) then I’d look at a moon chair less cross struts to dig in your legs. You can always try out a bunch in a camping shop and buy here if cheaper.(hence why I know about the vango- wish if me tried it out before purchasing these based on the reviews)

Very spacious chair and very comfortable.

Great seat . It does hold the weight it says I’m a very big lady . Only problem was getting out of chair didn’t feel safe and my feet didn’t Touch the floor I’m 5ft 5 So at to shuffle to the end of chair and get pulled up ha but apart from that it’s amazing and my mother-in-law likes it said it was very sturdy for her and she felt safe and very Comfortable
Keith Griffiths –
Nice chair, use it in my garden
D. A. Gunnr –
Digs into legs and the rivers that hold the fabric to the frame had completely released after first sitting.
Gary Kim Mann –
1. you can the bar under your thighs and after a short while it becomes uncomfortable.2. The seat is very deep and makes difficult to get out of the chair.3. When get out of the chair you can not press on the arms of the chair as they slide down. This is a real design fault.
Nonny1205 –
I love this chair!! Being a larger lady I find the regular camping chairs uncomfortable and not easy to get out of. This chair is built from sturdy metal and is higher than the regular chairs. One down point is when sitting in the chair the support bar under my legs is prominent and uncomfortable but this is only a minor point. A blanket or pillow eases the pressure. Getting out of the chair is so much easier too. Definitely a yes from me.

Great sturdy chair if your on the larger side and are looking for a chair you can be comfortable in and at ease then this is the one you need. I love the compartments on the side great to put your drink and your phone, wipes whatever you need at hand while relaxing. Only negative I can think of is it’s a bit on the heavier side to carry but it’s a small inconvenience for a otherwise perfect product 👍

First weekend out and the back ripped away from the press stud, the front is higher than the rear so getting out takes a bit of effort. I’m a big man and got this thinking it would be well build. disappointed with the build quality.
chantelle spare –
Very sturdy chair, doesnt feel like it’s going to collapse when getting off it. Features are good and stitching fabric etc all high level no tears or fraying. Used it camping and a few lake days so far, very pleased with it

Surpose to be for someone large but materal has stretched and makes it hard to get out of.
Amazon Customer –
Only uses it over the last 2 days in the garden but seems to be very well made. The pockets are very useful who doesn’t need 6/7 beers on them at all times and somewhere to put your phone 😀
Ethan –
Very comfy, very spacious, cooler is a fantastic idea. Only downside is the sturdiness of the arm rests. My left arm rest has ripped on its second use. The ring around the pole is supposed to hold the rests up but instead the seams around it have ripped and now it is too loose to stay up.

Zip broke and stuffing coming out after first use. Avoid would be my advice

After getting highly jealous at seeing our friends in their comfy chairs at outdoor events this summer, we (my husband and I) realised it was time we chaired our life up. With us both being rather rotund gentlemen, a search for ‘heavy duty folding chairs’ brought these up in the search results and they are soooo worth the money. Easy to carry, easy to fold, really comfy, the cool bag is a fab bonus, as is the brand name. Right now, they’re getting 10/10 from us.

I’m yet to use it, though other members of the family have, and they truly rate it.The bottle container is a true winner.I’ve now use them.Excellent quality product.Easy enough to carry.Packs and unpacks easily.Easily takes my 18 stone weight.
Heena parkar –
I’ve only used it at 1 festival, but this chair was very sturdy, both on grass and on sand. I didn’t have any issues with the chair cutting into my legs so no additional pillow needed. Loved the different pockets on the chair. Folds away so easily too, and was easy to carry around (took it on the bus).. would definitely recommend
Brian Deschanel –
It really does handle my weight (174kg).

As an avid camper, I was excited to try out the Oversized Camping Folding Chair, and I was definitely not disappointed! This chair is comfortable, durable, and provides an excellent sitting experience no matter where you decide to set it up.The first thing I noticed about the chair is how easy it was to set up. It is incredibly lightweight, folds and unfolds quickly, and it comes with a convenient carrying case so you can take it with you on the go. Despite its compact size, when you take a seat, the chair feels sturdy and secure, offering enough space to move around freely. The chair is made of high-quality materials, and its reinforced steel frame can hold up to 300 pounds. The chair’s fabric is breathable and weather-resistant, which gives me peace of mind whenever I’m camping in a rainy area. It has been especially useful during hot summer days, as it provides enough ventilation for you to stay cool and dry.One of my favorite things about this chair is the first-rate comfort it provides. The high backrest, wide armrests, and padded seat keep you comfortable and relaxed, whether you’re sitting around the campfire or reading a book on the beach. I can sit in this chair for hours without any discomfort, and it’s also great for napping in the sunshine too.Overall, I highly recommend the Oversized Camping Folding Chair to anyone looking for a durable, portable, and comfortable chair for outdoor use. It is easy to set up and pack away, and its sturdy design supports a wide range of weights. I am happy with this purchase, and I can’t wait to make more memories using this fantastic camping chair.

Got this for my partner who wanted a chair that would last and not break like the cheaper options. You really do get what you pay for. This chair from the outset looked and felt very well made and strong. Easy to carry in the bag provided and easy to fold out. He loved having the cool bag and drink holder and said that the chair felt comfy and supportive. Easy to fold down by holding the arms and pulling up then putting back in the carry bag. Very good purchase and highly recommended!!

Durable Chair- only one flaw
Love this chair!!It is made from durable steel and is the best camping chair I’ve ever seenThe one issue is with the waterproof zipper compartment:The fabric strip that is attached with zippers on either side-was cut 1/2 inch too shortIt would never reach the Velcro at the end, so it would never be sealed, and stretching the piece just broke the zipperSo now, it’s not a viable waterproof pouch and it looks ugly af with the zipper broken-I had to order my own Velcro product so I can at least fix the side of the pouch, that caves in and looks atrociousI didn’t need a waterproof pouch to begin withSo this product lost a StarOne lousy half inch too shortFFS

This thing is a brick house!
I don’t usually write reviews, but when I got this chair out of the box, I cannot believe how robust and sturdy it was. It weighs twice as much if not three times as my Coleman chair that I am retiring. The stitching is solid, and I am most impressed. Drop the Mic!

Best Camping Chairs
These are the best camping chairs we’ve ever bought. They are extra sturdy and should last for years. They are comfortable and were a good price on Prime Day Special!

Chair
Easy to fold and use.
Monardia –
Sturdy!
I break chairs frequently( I am heavy and tend to lean in positions that stress the chair, such as weeding, reaching and doing yard work), in other words I have met a chair yet that I can’t break, that said, this one is really sturdy and nice and roomy, sets up easily as well! It is heavy to carry but it is worth it to know it won’t collapse on you. The only other drawback is that the seat has no padding an touches the frame( a bit uncomfortable). This can be solved with a thick folded towel or so of this 1” thick chair pad that are fairly inexpensive. On the whole this chair is good quality and durable and the cost is reasonable for what you get!

Chair for living room on a budget
Chair seems to be able to hold at least 250 lbs with ease. The chair cuts into the back of my knees. It seems to be good for the price
Rhonda L. George –
Chair is good, not for wider thighed people
Bought for my daughter to sit at sons Little League. She has wide thighs and thishits he right above the knees causing her pain in those areas. We switched to adirector style chair.

Great chair!
Comfortable and sturdy. Great for “larger” people!
Ullrich M. –
Super bequem
Robuster Stuhl, sehr bequem und gar nicht schwer
Mrz. Keetz –
Not for Short/Big Legs
The chair is sturdy and a decent size but as others have mentioned, if you have larger thighs or shorter legs, the support bar will be uncomfortable and hit you behind the knees.A review mentioned using a pillow and that does help but I don’t want to lug around a chair AND pillow. I will be returning it.

Great chair!
Chair is very sturdy and comfortable…quality product!!

Yes great chair/yet terrible to carry
Great chair a bit heavy BUT the bag on this for carrying it is “bad news”. The strap is not long enough or wide enough to carry it for even 5 minutes. it is too short, too narrow and digs into your skin with this heavy of a chair. The strap does not even fit around the back of the seat when you are sitting in it you have to fold it up and use the semi handy side pocket which defeats the purpose of the semi handy side pocket because it is full. Would not buy again especially for this high price. A $2.00 modification 5″ longer/ 2″ wider strap would grade this out 5 Stars
David Gaines –
Very sturdy
This chair is great if you are over 200 pounds very comfortable
Amazon Customer –
Sturdy but not the most comfortable
The chair is well built and width is good for larger people, but the chair is painful to the back of the thighs due to the height and where the cross bars hit the backs of the legs when sitting. I’m 5’5” and my husband is 5’10”, and we both have to prop our feet on something 2-3 inches tall to keep our legs from hurting while seated.
Patricia T. Silverman –
Sturdy chair
This is well made, comfortable, and folds easily. Heavier tan similar chairs but light enough to carry.
Victor foley –
Strong
Comfort and durability

Not comfortable
The unit seems well built. Easy to fold and unfold. When seated there is a bar under thighs which make it uncomfortable to sit it for very long.

Decent Chair but tearing at the arm seams
The media could not be loaded.
Decently comfortable chair, and feel like it’s the perfect height from the ground. However the arm rests tore pretty quickly. Bought it less than a year ago and one of the arms already tore at the seam. It also wasn’t used at all during winter months. So It hasn’t had a lot of abuse. I’m also under 200lbs – so it’s surprising that it’s ripping already.
