I enjoyed putting this together. Okay, couple of bits where crap, like the doors aren’t true Square. One of the plinths was a cm too long. The door handles are really cheap and there’s no wax coating robtwlk of. But and it’s a hig but, the unit is okay. Looks okay, if you spend time reworking it then you’ll be getting something that’s not too bad.

A value for money item.Prior to purchase I had read one or two reviews suggesting that the cabinet was difficult to put together.However, if you follow the guidelines (check all the items are present & layout each piece) it is relatively straightforward. The cabinet is sturdy & adequately fulfils its role as a TV cabinet. A coat of polish has improved its appearance.One little thing that could be improved upon is the panels for the back angles -the edges of these are rather stark colour-wise in comparison to the rest of the cabinet, but again a coat of Briwax improved them.Overall, we are very pleased with the cabinet & at a fraction of the cost of ready-built items.

The stand was perfect for my 40inch TV with plenty of storage for DVDs etc and looks very good. The instructions were okay, but it took me two hours to assemble it, I am very pleased with result.

The TV unit is spot on, and I can only echo other comments that it looks more expensive than it actually was. The erection instructions are very good but the only problem I found was that the individual pieces of wood did not have numbers, which was a pain when trying to cross reference. Luckily for me I’m a veteran at these things doing many over the years so didn’t take me too long to sort, but may give ‘first timers’ some issues.The only other issue I have, and this is to do with the shipping company, not the supplier, was that the item was delivered on the day it was promised (Tuesday this week) but because I was not in it was taken back and I was left a card to re-arrange a new delivery time (fair enough).My wife called TNT and re-arranged the item to be re-delivered the next day (Wednesday this week), which she was told would be anytime between 08:00 – 18:00. I arranged to work from home on Wednesday and when it got to early afternoon (with no sign) I decide to check the on-line status, which indicated that I needed to re-arrange another delivery day,I called TNT and tried to trace the item but each time I selected the given option on the phone it went dead. I eventually manged to speak to someone in customer services and was told that the item would not be delivered that day and that there was no record of a re-arranged delivery for that day on the system.After several minutes trying to track my wife’s call, with no success, I re-arranged another re-delivery for the following Monday, giving instructions of where the item could be left if no one was around.Imagine my surprise when I got home on Thursday of this week I was greeted by my neighbor who said they had taken a delivery for me, and yes you guessed it, it was the unit delivered by TNT.So, for me the unit is great and well worth the price the only issue I have is with the shipping company, so when ordering please double check the delivery date if you have to re-arrange.

The quality of the item is good, but it is by no means easy to assemble. It took us a good four hours, with sore hands, and you need an array of extra tools. The joints easily break, so we needed a carpenter we knew to improvise on them, and one of the screws snapped too. It’s steady and looks good, but I’d never buy again, unless there was an option for it to come pre-assembled.

Great value, great price. Lovely piece of furniture made of raw pine. Re-decorating (not finished yet). Had my tele, stereo player, dvd, satellite box and old VHS player on a glass tier. Always dusty and wires everywhere covered in spiders webs. Stereo fits snuggly in opening. All the rest in cabinet below. All wires hidden. Its a corner piece so no space wasted. You have to assemble it yourself, bit time consuming but worth it. All parts fit spot on. Love it.

Dowel holes not in the right place, when fitting the top had to rely on screws as dowels made the champford edges out of line, the jig used for making the holes needs checking for alignment at the factory.My husband is good at putting flat pack furniture together and this caused a lot of swearing. But then you get what you pay for.

Not too difficult to assemble but be patient if not experienced and assemble in exact order. Everything fitted, doors etc. Some of the screw fittings were a little awkward. A little glue might help on the pegs or a careful pre-drill for some screw holes. Looks good and does the job.

The cabinet arrived promptly and safely packaged, in intact condition. Being a typical woman (who was mad enough to embark on house decorating during husband long absence), I was dreading putting this together. Not being a sexist, I am a typical woman and not an engineer… But the instructions are really clear, thorough and detailed. I would say follow them diligently, unless you are an DIY expert. I have made only couple of small, correctable mistakes. One of them was loosing one of two screws for a door handle, and then not being able to find in B&Q similar one. I have contacted the seller of the cabinet eventually and they just immediately sent me the missing screw with no fuss or charge, so very pleased with their service.Three months later, the cabinet looks fab and serves us well. It is very sturdy, gets lots of compliments and everyone thinks it was a pricey piece. It stand in my son playroom, treated roughly and taking it with not a scratch.Yes, it did take a whole evening to put together (on my own, with zero previous experience), but it was worth an effort and I can only rate it ***** Thanks!

I brought this for my mother as a birthday present. I would not consider myself much of a DIY man, so initially reading the instructions was like attempting to read an Arab script (I struggle enough with English). However, I soon got into the hang of things and eventually got it built. The types of tools you will need for the build is a phillips screwdriver and a mallet (or hammer).The wood is completely natural pine. Each person will have their favourite finish, we went with a few coats of varnish. The positives of this is that it adds a protective layer and gives the wood a slight shine. However if you choose to leave the wood and go for the more natural look, this also looks good.I would recommend this item to anyone who is looking for new furniture. It goes well with the pine Corona coffee tables too. The price is good and the quality of the furniture is well above what you would expect for the price. Some of the the dowel holes were not precise therefore some of the pieces did not a-line correctly however been a joiner I was able to a-line them apart from that very sturdy I would recommend anyone to glue when assembling then you will have an excellent product

both myself & my wife are disabled we ordered two of these units we read the instructions said take about 1/2 an hour to put together so we arranged for a workman to come in for an hour but 4 hours later only just managed to finish it we can’t afford for the workman to come back to make the other unit very disappointed . None of the pieces are marked where they go or what to do with them even though we like the unit thought should be put in to make it easier to put together now we have got one unit we can’t afford to put together waste of money

Just what I was looking for, needed a slightly smaller unit to fit my room and this was the only 1 that fit the bill. After hunting lots of online stores this was the best 1 and at a lower price too. Arrived within days and I put it together on my own, it did take me a couple hours as some bits were a little tricky (could have done with another pair of hands) but all in all it is perfect now its all done. Definitely would recommend.

The main piece if this TV cabinet is of course the top piece where the telly sits. Unfortunately this piece had some sort of sticky dark brown drips of something near the front edge, right where it will be seen as it is in front of where the telly sits. I suppose I should have contacted suppler for a replacement, but you know how it is, I needed to use it as the telly was waiting for a home, so decided to try and rub it off with a damp cloth. It eventually came off, but so has much of the stainer applied to the wood, and now it is an eyesore. The annoying thing is how can they possibly have missed this on their quality control inspections that take place before sending the product out?Anyway I will have to live with it, pity as it is a nice looking cabinet and reasonably easy to erect.

First of all may I say the delivery time was extremely fast, next the TV unit is fantastic, great quality, it took 2 hours to put together, and it was a bit tough, but once its done and finished…omg it’s gorgious,.Nice quality wood, not easy ta break, solid unit all together and instructions are very simple, just make sure to bring your own Screwdriver and hammer.Summery/ great product, good solid unit, great quality, amazing price, and delivery was extremely fast.

Ordered this cabinet to match exsisting furniture. Delivery was very quick. Only problem I had was during assembly, where I discovered I had two identical back pieces. I emailed the company (on a Sunday) and received a phone call from them that same pm. Unfortunately, miscommunication meant I still received the wrong part, but this was quickly sent out to me within a couple of days. Obviously, it would have been nice to get the cabinet without the wrong parts, but the customer service was brilliant. Now all finished and looks great. Hence the 4 star review.

Bought this product for my son bedroom. The first one arrived damaged and amazon replaced with no hassle and damaged one was pick up next working day. When the second one arrived nothing was damaged and all pieces was there. It was easy to put together with help at some point. It looks good and its very sturdy unit and would recommend it 🙂👍

This is a nice piece of furniture, it’s fairly easy to put together, just lay everything out and follow the instructions.One thing to mention, do take care opening the box, the back panel is just under the stuck down flap, don’t be tempted to use anything sharp to rundown the sellotape.

My husband found that assembling the TV cabinet was quite arduous work, as a lot of the screws were difficult to screw into the adjoining parts ,so had no choice but to use a hand drill to make the unit fully secure. Now it is completed we are very pleased that we purchased this TV unit. It is very study and looks far more expensive than what we paid, and certainly far cheaper than ready made furniture especially pine wood.I would highly recommend this item as long as you have the time and patience to assemble it,also it is just the ideal height for watching TV.

A little bit awkward putting it all together and geting the hinges to align so I would reccomend starting each screw hole with a small hand drill to make sure you have the holes exactly positioned. This is hard wood, not chipboard so screws need a starter. Otherwise I am very pleased with it now it is all together.

lovely looking unit,only one issue when unpacked there was a slither of wood missing from one of the panels about 3ins in length which would have shown had it been on the front of the unit, luckily it was from the back,when we completely emptied the box,the piece of wood was at the bottom and so i think it was to do with handling when packaging just for you to be aware.but i do like the unit.

This product is very good for its price.You could pay 3 times this for something not as well made so that said it is very reasonable, however do not expect this to fit perfectly for this price.For example the doors require abit of adjustment and there is abit of gap. The gap depends where you adjust to.
