Package arrived on time but as I unpacked I heard the sound of a loose component, removed the 4 connecting screws and noticed one of the two led strips was detached, fortunately the screws for that were still amongst the packaging so it was easy to reconnect. Before drilling into tiles I needed to ensure the mirror worked ok so I attached a normal 3 pin plug fitted with a 3 amp fuse to check. Worked fine, also instead of using connection blocks to the lighting circuit I wired directly to a 3 amp fused switch located on an outer wall, this enables me to switch off whenever necessary. The clock is good and will save the time up to 30 days after the device is switched off.

There is a buzz when hanging and when questioning the seller it really got bogged down I think language barrier so it’s working and hopefully working right.

It’s very rare I feel the need to give a poor product review, however. Bought this to replace an existing similar mirror with similar features. It had given good service but edges of. Glass were starting to discolour. First off, this one cost me much more than the original it was replacing so expected as good if not better quality. Unfortunately it isn’t. The Electrician said he could here something moving inside so he opened it up to see. All the led assemblies were loose, the transformer was held with only one loose nut and bolt and everything else was loose or not connected either. This sorting out had an extra charge involved and cost me an extra hours labour at £50. The plastic seal around the case had been ill fitted and was distorted in a number of places. The manufacture and quality control of the mirror is appalling. So to round off, I know other people have said there is a hum from inside the casing but the other issues are much more of a concern. The shaver socket will not hold either the shaver plug or the toothbrush plug and constantly ejects them.Could I recommend it NO, is it worth the money NO. And yes I do regret buying this poor quality mirror.
