Some reviews say this dressing table is unstable. The stability will depend on the ability of the ability of the person constructing the table. Anyone with experience of constructing flat pack furniture shoudl be able to assemble this.Its should be noted that the item is delivered in two packages so expect two parcels which mayor may not be delivered at one time. The item in total is heavy and the packaged weights were 18.1Kg and 21Kg or in imperial weight total about 86lbs.There should be assembly instructions in one of the packages but they are in diagramatic form. They need to be carefully studied and note that each part of the assembly is numbered with a round sticker, as well as the fastening parts and these numbers correspond to the instructions.Note that there are some wooden fixing dowels but the four used for the mirror are a longer length than those used for the general furniture parts.The instructions show the base assembled and the table top assembled as seperate main parts.It would be advisable to have two people to lower the heavy table top part onto the base.Notice that there is a subtle difference between the front of the two drawers, one is designed forthe right hand and the other for the left hand side.There is a short strap which is indicated to secure the table to a wall, however there is not much room behind the table in position to screw into the wall and the also back of the table. A remedy was to drill a hole through the panel at the left and right hand sides just below the bottom shelf of the table top. A suitable wall fixing plug installed in the wall on the left and right hand sides and some long screws used to fasten through the drilled holes onto the wall.

So the desk itself is so beautiful and I am using it. But the chair pieces are very unstable. I had my cousin who is smaller than me to sit on it and the chair broke. I was going to ask for some of my money back. But I’m unsure on how that works

The dressing table is cheap but is not sturdy at all, drawers keep getting disassembled after three times you open them and the part that connects the two sides as well. I don’t know how many times I fixed already. Plus delivery was very inconvenient. Got the first part and second part took ages to arrive coz the delivery guy didn’t even ring the bell. I am not very satisfied. It looks nice but I would not count on durability

A decent product, considering the price. I will warn that this is not a product for newbies of flatpack furniture – assembling it was tricky. I’ve got years of experiences with flatpack furniture, and even I struggled at some points. Took around an hour and 15 mins to build. I’d suggest lining up each and every item, then follow the instructions exactly as shown in the paperwork. It’s not the sturdiest of products, but considering the overall look of this item when assembled, happy with it, for now.

Stool is not sturdy. The dressing table is lovely and although easy to put together if the fixings were not in place properly the unit was unstable. Screwing in too tight made it unstable. I do love it now assembled just need to find a way of stabilising the stool

Fantastic, absolutely love it. Loads of space and a large mirror. Taken 1 star off as it is delivered in 2 separate packages that may not arrive together, something that the supplier does not care to mention. This was extremely frustrating when we unpacked the first delivery to find half of it missing then had to wait a further 2 days, (with uncovered parts including the large glass mirror), for the rest of the parts to arrive.You need to make it very clear that it comes in 2 packages that may not be delivered together, it can’t be that hard to update, you even mention delivery scope in the item description.

I was a little worried by reading some of the reviews but decided to order anyway. So glad that I did! My partner did the making and said it was easy to put together and didn’t take longer than an hour. And the result is great! This table is so spacious and has storage for anything you need on a regular basis when doing hair / make up. It is sturdy. My only negative is that the stool could do with some padding on the top however this can easily be remedied by adding a cushion. All in all it’s definitely worth the purchase for anyone who is looking for a nice upgrade to your dressing table.

Nicely chosen fixings produces quite a sturdy dresser – my wife’s chuffed with it.The instructions are poor and contain a couple of errors so require a bit of thought to build in the optimum sequence. The error is miss identification of the back of the left and right shelves being transposed – sorry I can’t remember the numbers.All said, would buy again and is a nice product for the price.

Looks lovely and does everything you need the desk itself is brilliant even if the instructions and assembly are abit of a flaff. The lower rating is for the stool it’s so cheap and flimsy I’ve had to tighten the bolts up 3 times and only Hadd it less than a month. Price is worth it for the desk though.

The shelves make storage so easy and adds more space. One of the drawers does get stuck and it can rock sometimes. Never used the stool so cannot comment on that but over very happy. I already saw the reviews on this but it did come in two parcels and arrived on different days

The finished item looks really good. I have built a lot of flat pack furniture and would call myself good at it. It is a good thing, as having built it as instructed, I had to take the top shelving area apart and reassemble it by eye ignoring the instructions. Had I left it as instructed the shelving would have finished up with the fixings visible on the supposedly flat upwards facing surface. If you are not experienced with flat pack furniture then the complete absence of written instructions coupled with the errors would probably have you sending this item back.

When it arrived it came with only the side panels, quickly sent the message and got a quick respond from the seller. 2nd part arrived on the same day. I was very pleased with the all the parts not a single scratch. Great packaging.It was easy to assembled the parts because it was well numbered. Lovely desk once I’d replaced each and everyone of the fixtures that were supplied. Each cam bolt snapped when putting together and was extremelyUnsafe. We had to buy replacement cam bolts and attach brackets to make it stable. SellerDid give me £20 reimbursement that clearly don’t cover what extra I had to pay out for but they did respond which is a good thing.

I love my dressing table especially for the price but the only thing I’d say is that maybe put in both boxes about it being split in 2 as i got the one without first, and when we finished its not 100% sturdy so we put some extra brackets on but still love it and would recommend.

It’s a good dressing table however my experience has not been good. The pre drilled holes are either to big or not in the correct position making the draws not sit flush and some of the connectors falling out. As the holes did not line up properly on the stool it was not sturdy and due to over tightening it, it is now broken. Overall the sturdiness is not great however the instructions are easy to follow.

If you want an easy flat pack task THIS IS NOT the one for you. Overall it looks great and does the job but it took my partner and I 2 hours to put up! The packaging also arrived seperately and a few scuffs to the parts, luckily they are hidden though.

When you buy this be aware that it dies come in 2 packages so could arrive on different days like mine did, So don’t panic. Was very easy to assemble brilliantly lay out. Very sturdy needs to be to hold my lotion and potions. Could not be happier

This dressing table looks lovely and the price was good. But. The instructions may as well be in an alien language. Putting it together was a nightmare. The fittings are poor, the holes too big. So whilst it looks nice, it wobbles from side to side, its starting to come loose. I’m scared to lean on it when doing my makeup. The stool is flimsy and I wouldn’t trust it to hold adult weight.If you are going to take your chances and buy this, they don’t tell you it comes in 2 deliveries and not on the same day. A highly frustrating experience for poorly made goods.

I love this so much. Came in 2 separate boxes from 2 different delivery companies so please don’t panic if you get half of the desk only 😅. It was a bit of a challenge assembling it as an 18 year old female on my own, but I managed and it came out amazing. Comes with screws and alan keys however you will need a couple of screwdrivers for most of the screws. Lovely desk

Lovely dressing table, great centre mirror and drawers. Only complaint is the quality of the bolts supplied. The locking nuts twist very easily and become distorted. Shame.

The instruction is horrible. The numbers in the furniture pieces and on the instruction paper are different. You have to put it together differently, then how it says on the paper. Luckily I had help , and we figured it out, otherwise it looks very nice when is ready

I’m no stranger to flat pack furnitureI don’t know what they are called but that are a small round nut which tightens the bolts were the worst kept snapping or simply did not work at all so the rigidity is non existent The panels or bottom of the drawers were not straight so a nightmare to line up with the slotsThis was a main Christmas present for my partner and it is for want of a word rubbish
