Despite other reviews claiming it was difficult together, my 12 year old sister built this by herself with no issues! Just don’t tighten all the screws till it’s fully together. Only complaint is the cushion is pretty hard but overall good value for the price.

By far the cheapest version I could find of this chair. I was doubtful it would be comfortable but it really is. It’s firm and low but it works. I’m now to move it from our guest room into the master bedroomI would have given it five stars but it was a little tricky to assemble. I had to rope in my husband to finish getting the arms on as it required quite a lot of strength.

Read the reviews before ordered saying bolt holes didn’t line up and they were not wrong took a lot of strength to line up one side arm/legs the other was impossible and stripped one bolt thread luckily there was one spare bolt, had to drill and chisel the one wood arm/legs hole to get bolt to fit in screw socket got chair built in the end. If you are good at DIY you will need to be with this chair.

My daughter loves this chair. She put it together herself. One of the dowels snapped but her dad had spares available in his tool box (he thought it would be fine without a replacement).It was a bit tricky when she was putting the arms on – the picture instructions were not too clear so we had to return to the photographs as she was confused whether L meant left when sitting in the chair or looking at the chair.That said, whilst others have mentioned that it is quite low, it is what she wanted as a space to read in her room. She has added a low cushion but that’s just her preference rather than because the chair needs extra cushioning.

Needs two people to assemble, and a fair bit of force. Once we discovered the L and R stickers were on the wrong parts it was easier to assemble… TIP: don’t tighten any of the screws fully until it’s built. Try to assemble it with the screws as loose as you can get away with. It’s comfortable and sturdy but is quite low. Perfect for occasional use.

Really pleased with this product! Really sturdy and comfortable chair. I’m giving it 4 stars as mine arrived with a large noticeable chip in the arm, this doesn’t bother me but I know this might not be the case for others.

It is ok for ocasional use but it could do with a more softer cushion. It has very little give when you sit in it. It is ok for me because I have back pain but for someone normal I don’t think this would be very pleasant.

After reading some of the reviews of this chair I admit I was torn. Some reviews praised the quality and ease of assembly others could not complete the build without serious DIY intervention. In the end I took a chance and was so pleased I did.What’s good?Arrived well packaged with clear instructions. Took me less than 30 minutes to assemble it on my own.Make sure you follow the guidance and do NOT tighten up the bolts as you step through the assembly stages. You will thank yourself when fitting the right hand arm….Once built it’s a sturdy little chair. It has VERY firm cushions but great for occasional use in my box bedroom office. It even came with felt floor protectors already stuck on the feet. How good is that?Once you have it all assembled do not forget to tighten all the bolts up, including those underneath the seat cushion, before you cover up the bolts holes with the plastic caps.What’s not so good?It’s not the largest chair in the world and is very firm but its fine for my intended us.The plastic cover caps for used to cover the exposed bolt holes are quite fiddly and mine had a lot of chaff on them making it difficult to locate them smoothly. But with some ‘persuasion’ they went in and looked. great. Hint – only fit once you are happy the chair is assembled securely and no more tightening of the bolts is required.The wood finish is a little marked on one of my arms but nothing that stands out.
