I finally got around to assembling this chair yesterday. In general, I am quite pleased with the result, with only a couple of minor niggles.Niggle one: the kit did NOT include screw hole covers, meaning we are left with some rough, ugly holes with screws showing. I’ve just ordered a set of caps to hopefully fix this issue, but it seems sensible for these to have been included. They don’t add much to the price, but would save bother.Niggle two: some areas of the wood (especially the edges of the arms) is rough, and sanding it down isn’t really an option when it’s been painted—as it is.Overall—raw screw holes aside—the chair looks good when finished, and is quite comfortable to sit in, despite having a short back. It forces a person to sit up straight, so it’s a good chair for posture. A cushion at the back makes it even more comfortable. I’m quite happy with this aspect of the chair, and it feels reasonably sturdy as well—although I suspect it’s not meant for constant use. Size (width and height) is perfect for just about anybody, and sits low enough to the floor so nobody’s legs will be dangling, but the fixed chair arms mean it’s easy to rise from as well.There were a couple of problems getting it put together from the pictorial instructions.Although an L-shaped ‘spanner’ is included, which works very well for turning the screws, unfortunately a rather sturdy normal flathead screwdriver is required to get the four nuts positioned in place inside the crossbar at the front. That was really tricky to accompiish, and the instructions didn’t even show which way the nut should go in. Trial and error got the job done, but that was the most difficult part for me.The right and left arms were mislabeled, mixing up the two! And yes, it made a difference. It was fairly obvious from the angle of the arms that a mistake was made, but still….I’m buying a seat cover for the seat, because this is fabric, and likely to get worn and stained without a cover. But I knew this was the case before I bought it, so no problem.All in all, I’m very happy with the product, but due to the niggles regarding finish and assembly I couldn’t give it 5 stars. But it’s still worth buying. And the colour (blue) is very nice and subdued, without being ‘grey!’ It has a slightly tweedy look, which means it should not show lint, which is a plus.

 The armchair is as described. Also comfortable to sit on. However, the protective pad on the legs are made with slippery materials. Maybe it can be improved by using other materials.overall, I am very pleased with the armchair!
