The assembly was not for the weak, fortunately my husband had some extra tools to help. The swing bench was placed on the lawn on concrete pads, where our previous swing had been for quite some time, however, this one blew over after a gust of wind (breaking some potato plants!). We had to take the canopy off, not easy. Although the bench has a cushion (very thin), the seat part is too short in depth and the cross bar of the seat presses into the back of your upper legs. Will need to add a deeper cushion to overcome this. Sorry, but we have been quite disappointed.

I think that it is a fairly good value swing for the price and fairly easy to assemble. My one was supplied with a mark on it (as per the photo). Thankfully, the seller was very responsive and dealt with the issue to my satisfaction. The swing is not especially comfortable but it is good enough if you just want a cheap, basic swing for a while. If you want more comfort then I suggest you buy some extra seat padding. Obviously, I never received my swing in perfect condition but it looks how I expected it to look from the description of it. I can’t imagine that either the metal or the material coverings will last very long after being weathered a while but I’ve just bought mine to last maybe two summers at best before I have to buy another one. Don’t leave it out if you know some really windy storm is coming either because it is not built to withstand extremely bad weather (it may potentially fly around your garden in that situation). Also, don’t swing on it too high because it is not stable enough (or meant for) large swing movements.

Really pleased with this swing, easy to put together and looks good. Only two little niggles, the seat bar at the front digs into your legs after a while but I’m going to put an extra cushion on the seat to combat that and the screw caps refuse to stay on, I’ve yet to solve that problem. Great value for money though and very relaxing.

This hammock is stunning!!! It’s very very sturdy & looks beautiful .it’s made my patio look lovely & inviting my little grandson loves the new swing !!! My daughter & l put it together ( about hour & half) as we put some pieces on back to front but easily solved it ..) if this information can help other purchasers l will write it //// when you put bolts with screws on you may think they won’t tighten up but you have to hold the scree end of bolt with tool included & TIGHTEN the other end with ALLEN KEY ( both at the same time) it took a little time for us to work that out ! But l am thrilled with my purchase & my husband said it’s heaven in the garden!!! BEAUTIFUL !!!! would highly recommend..and what a bargain price..l have seen nothing similar under £100. I cannot recommend this swinging hammock enough it’s transformed my garden thankyou .

The swing arrived exactly as quoted, and was well packaged.I have opened the box and all parts are there, and the instructions were clear to understand.I deliberately only assembled the framework as the weather here in the North East still feels like the Baltic, and I will do this later, but the unassembled seat and cushions fits neatly where it can be stored, and I think in future I will disassemble the seat each WinterI am impressed by the ease of assembly, and the quality of the finish, and so far I would recommend it as good value for money

I only realised when I was about 2/3 of the way through building this that I was one short on a specific bolt (of which it only needed 2 anyway!) and there was one too many of another, different sized one. The various bolts etc. all come in separate plastic bags so do check them all carefully before you start. I was able to find a spare bolt elsewhere that fitted where this one was needed, so no big deal but a minor annoyance.All that said, the build itself was really simple, diagrams were basic but accurate, and I had the whole thing up in under an hour on my own. The package includes a spanner and allen key, but the flimsy allen key was starting to shear before I’d finished, so I used a more solid one from my toolkit to finish the job.The little green plastic caps that cover the nuts are not a very good fit, several had fallen off in the grass within a few minutes of first sitting and swinging, never to be seen again – but they’re hardly essential to the construction!The seat itself is very nice once complete – as others have mentioned, describing it as a three-seater is very ambitious unless at least one of the three is a small child or a puppy. The adjustable canopy is a nice touch and easy to adjust. It’s fairly comfortable in use, especially with a couple of extra cushions thrown on top! The whole thing is light enough to be moved around if necessary without too much effort.

It is great value for price.Sturdy, we do not jump on it. Have a good weight, we live by the seaside, so just to make sure we bought extra strong galvanised pegs for the legs and a waterproof cover too.We tought the seat was quite low, but that’s not true. I looked at a shop and all of them was this height even the lot more expensive brands.It is a 3 seater for adults, but not for very big people.The canopy is great, big and looks good.It is all in all a beautiful design.When we opened the box there was a big dirty foot print on the seat, they must have been in a hurry, when packing.Also one of the hole on a pole was on the side not in the middle, see photo. We were still able to fit it in though.There were screw caps that would be great if all would fit, but not all of them fit as the screw come out further than suppose to.The worst was the instructions in Chinese. There were no numbers/letters on the screws/packing, so we went by the pictures, some of the pics were wrong as well. This was a challange to build, but we did it. Make sure you give yourself a couple of hours to build it. Even the cat likes it.Pillow is comfy, but if you want to lift up your legs and swing away, I suggest to put an extra pillow under your bum as the front frame if the seat can be a bit uncomfortable.

Bags containing the different screw sizes not labelled, also some screws /bolts missing , instructions could be a lot better ,spanner and alum key not good at all ,ended up using own keys and pair of grips ,one canopy bar was bent ,once up it looks OK but I won’t be purchasing another swing from this company sorry

I had a faulty item and when i contacted their customer service team they was amazing, they were polite, helpful and resolved issue with no problems, i HIGHLY recommend this company and without fail would order from them again, the swing itself is easy to assemble, nice size , looks great and sturdy. only issue is the cushioned part is very flimsy so when you sit on it you can feel the metal poles of the seat but i just added thicker cushion and its perfect.thanks MHSTAR for a positive sale

Easy to assemble and sturdy enough, but the holes in the bars mean that the seat is at a really strange angle so not comfortable to sit on for any length of time.

The screw covers won’t stay on and you can feel the bar when you sit down because the Foam is not big enough to cover it. But the price low.

This was relatively easy to assemble with clear instructions. The only problem with assembly was that one of the poles was bent so wouldn’t slot into the other pole, but I managed to straighten it. Also the plastic things that cover the nuts and bolts keep falling off but that doesn’t really matter.It’s really comfortable and a great place to sit in the garden on a sunny day. I’m hoping it will get plenty of use in the next few months.

I should have expected that the quality wouldn’t be great for the price, the cushion is very thin and felt too small for the seat. Luckily the seat is full canvas. Had to buy a separate cushion to make it comfortable. It’s advertised as a 3 person seat… but the weight capacity is 200kg and I’m not sure how 3 adults could sit on it, the seat is no way wide enough. Overall it’s good for 1 summer whilst starting out but wouldn’t buy as a long term item. In addition the bolt covers don’t fit on properly and quite a few of them have fallen off which I noticed when my dog was chewing on them.

Ordered a year ago unfortunately I was only able to put it together this year. Screws and parts poorly labelled. The screws for the arms do not tighten so they are loose. I am unable to use the swing seat I have contacted the seller and manufacturer in hope they could send two new screws but no. Great customer care! Avoid!

The teenage girls have to arrange the time that they invite over their friends as EVERYONE wants THEIR time to enjoy! And there’s room for three little ones to cozy up on the triple seats together!

Ordered this in February for wife ‘s 80th..the canopy has snapped where the screw hole is.Item has only been outside in the garden for about 1month, and always covered over. It was kept in the conservatory during winter months.MHStar are ignoring my messages about the broken canopy.. I can’t use this swing without the canopy.Why don’t MHStar reply.

The good news was the extremely prompt delivery, offset by the fact that 2 supporting legs (D) were damaged; this did not affect the main construction, but these poles were unable to accept the circular plastic caps. In fact, most of the remaining caps needed superglue to be held in place.I would recommend that 2 people are needed to put the product together; although with a struggle over a few hours I managed it single-handed after I discovered misprints in the assembly documentation.The seat only accommodates 2 people or one curled up person lying down.Finally, it was disappointing that the Amazon ‘buy together’ invitation meant that I bought a cover from the same manufacturer that was far too big for their product.

The adjustment fittings for tilting the canopy were incorrect and I had to re-drill them to make the canopy fit. Fortunately I have the tools and know how to do it, otherwise I would have had problems. Other than that it meets all my requirements.
