I’ve just moved house and trying to be organised so I thought a dressing table would be good. Now it’s assembled it’s sturdy and I like it… Putting it together was a bit of a nightmare to be honest. The instructions are really hard to understand. Bits are tippexed out and written in biro! I’m happy with it now and if you are good with complicated diy you will be fine. I, on the other hand, nearly had a nervous breakdown and my husband rescued me but even he struggled. It’s made of cheap plywood but once it’s together it’s fine. I couldn’t afford anything more expensive at the time.

Everything is ok except board number 8 has multiple pre-drilled holes in the wrong position, I have to measure and drill some new holes in order to assemble the drawer properly.

This looks really nice when up small but just what I expected. The assembly was not great instructions are clear but the skrew holes especially on the stool are not big enough for the big skrews so unfortunately had to chip away the inside to be able to bolt in resulting in a split in the stool. The wood is also quite sharp on the corners. The wood chips easy so need to be careful when assembling. Overall I like it just needs improvement were skrew holes are and mayb better wood.

Well I purchased this as I thought it was good value for money. Its a surprise gift for my other half. If something is to good to be true then it usually is! I was puddled on the 1st diagram with the metal sliders as nine of them were labelled like the rest of the items. Now had I got these the wrong way round and i set to complete it this would of been a pain in the a**e to take apart. I was stuck kn this for the best part of 3 quarters of an hour. Wasn’t sure where to place the screws on all the sliders because again instructions didn’t clearly state, so used what common sense I have. It’s a good job I have no hair to begin with because I’d of certainly lost it all doing this.!

I’m used to flatpack construction, but I did find the instructions really confusing at first. Once I got my head around them though, it was fine.It took about an hour and a half to put this together on my own – if you’re buying this, what I would recommend you get is a multi-head Phillips screwdriver (or screwdriver set), because there are Phillips screws of varying sizes and you will need different heads for them: I think I used about 5 to get the right size.There are no Allen keys in this construction.The unit looks nice, the only thing I would have liked is a seat pad built into the stool – it’s very hard to sit on and you have to buy one separately.Because the stool isn’t square, it can be slightly difficult to find an exact size pad. Something around 38 x 38 or 40 X 40 is probably going to be about the right size, depending on your decor style and preference. I would advise building the thing first, then measuring and seeing what will work best for you.UPDATE: I bought a 38x38cm ivory twill seat pad from H&M to match the seat, and it’s the perfect size.

I purchased this dressing table as it was the perfect size for a small gap and it was a good price.However, when assembly the dressing table we can’t attach the mirror onto it as the mirror has been stuck to the wrong side meaning the screws can’t grip and we can’t attach it.There is also a large chip on the top of the dressing table.I have tried to contact the company to ask for a replacement mirror, however, there is no contact number and it is only suggesting I return which I don’t want to do as we have already assembled the rest of it. I simply require a new mirror so we are able to fit it. Not impressed as it’s impossible to contact this company.

Loved this product until I heard a bump in the middle of the night and the mirror had fallen clean off with two days of assembly. Whatever adhesive they used to glue the mirror to the wood just gave out. For the money paid for this dresser I expected more. Disappointed.

Lovely item but sadly weh. We opened it Xmas eve to build it up… The mirror wasn’t stuck to the wood…. Looked like the glue also wasn’t the right type of glue you would use to hold a mirror.. My husband went out bought some suitable glue and re glued it to the wooden back board and job was a good un… Overall the item was perfect… Nicely went together… Its was my daugher I’d say its suitable for all ages younge and older we had bought this items for a 10year but this item could be used for teen and adults alike And she loves it thankyou…

Bought for the mrs easy to assemble it’s sturdy enough only slight issue where it’s been packaged up they put the thin inner drawer base on top and it was nearly broke in two luckily we won’t be putting much weight in there

Purchased as a gift for my Daughter for Christmas. Assembling it wasn’t too nasty my Husband said, but the day it got built (27th December) the wood chipped away from around the screw placement on the stool. So looks awful already.

It is a beautiful and compact dressing table, very good for the space I have at home. I think that for coming with the mirror and bench, it was worth buying. The quality is not the best but it doesn’t have any major damage, for me it’s ok mainly for the price I paid (50 or 60 pounds). I also found it a little difficult to assemble, but not impossible. And the height of the mirror looks great when I sit on the bench (I’m 1.60m)

It’s ok for the price. Just wanted a little dressing table to tide me over until I can afford something nicer in the future.It’s sturdy and does the job, but I found the instructions really hard to understand to put it together, never known a flat pack like it, also the drawer doesn’t close properly don’t know if it’s because I’ve put screw in wrongs hole on the drawer runner because it doesn’t tell you properly on the instructions so you have to guess really but I can’t be bothered to take it apart to fix this as it’s only open slightly so doesn’t really bother me.

This was bought for my daughter. It was the cheapest I could find so wasn’t expecting much but for a flat pack furniture it was really easy to assemble and the quality isn’t bad at all! We added some led strip lights just to spruce it up and think we will buy a chair with a back for more support but I can’t fault this vanity desk at all.

Don’t even bother. I bought for my daughter Bithday present. Buy from IKEA or somewhere local. I wouldn’t expect excellence for a price, but not this bad.Unfortunately cannot return as started to assemble. I’ll definitely write to Amazon customer support.

Opened and saw some of the peices have marks that have been painted over, screwing in peices caused the wood to break, i wouldn’t usually mind but this is the top part of the table thats also been painted on so can be seen

Excellent for small rooms. I was a bit doubtful because I read a lot of reviews saying that the seat is wobbly but i only use it to sit in front of the dressing table so it’s ok for its purpose. I love that it brings that old school kind of look to the room it was very easy to assemble. I’m terrible at figuring out flatpacks but I managed to put this together all by myself!

The product arrived with paintwork chipped, but as it was for my daughters birthday the next morning I had no option but to build it up.Instructions were terrible but I managed to get it together. Once together is was pathetic. Not structurally sound at all. The drawer opened about 1 time out of every 5. Seemed to be twisted. Awful. Do not buy. I can’t even return as there is no way I can dismantle myself so looks like it’ll be going to waste

Vanity table came with a big chip in the center, the bits left don’t even fit together so God knows what happened there.Should’ve know it wouldn’t he great for the price.Will have to keep and try to fix myself as I’ve already sent one back and paid £6 to do so and it was a pain arranging it to be picked up.Wouldn’t recommend waste of money, spend a bit more for a better one if you can.
