Excellent product. Very well built using heavy duty and first class materials and fittings. Really easy to put together and exceptionally good for its job. Everything about the truck is just great. Excellent customer service. 10/10.

Finally Died
I bought this cart 6 years ago and it has finally died. I have treated it like crap and demanded that it be the work horse around the farm. It has sat outside all this time, been asked to pull too-heavy loads in all weather, been horse kicked, goat tromped, truck smashed, and it has been going strong all this time. Six years. To be fair, it is still working, but is limping around now with significant rust and bad tires. I’m fairly sure that I could simply replace the tires and it would likely do it’s job for another couple of years. I will be buying either this exact model, or it’s slightly larger brother, as a replacement. This cart has been one of my best investments around the farm and I feel that a six year life span is money well spent.

Perfect Cart for the Homestead
I looked at similar carts at Tractor Supply which cost more and were not powder coated. Since I hadn’t seen this brand in person, I took the chance and purchased—very glad I did. It is well made. The option to lower or remove all four sides makes it versatile enough that I may have to wrestle it away from those wanting to use it to plant trees and move big loads of wood. I use it around my two horses for all kinds of tasks. Easy to pull, holds heavy loads and even the bright red color is great—easy to find. Definitely recommend.

Easy to build
Great cart! Rolls very easy off road, and easy to steer. Well built and strong! The only thing I added was a board for the bottom as I will be hauling bricks and stone. I didn’t want to ruin the pretty red finish and to ensure the scratched paint doesn’t rust out. This cart should last a long time.

HANDY HELPER TO HAVE AROUND
I purchased this wagon for the yard work and other jobs around the house. It already has paid for itself by making moving some heavy items from the driveway to the rear of he house. NO back pain for me…

Ok
Well made ,little short.have a problem with the steering, will turn over if not careful when you turn to sharp with a load on it.

Easy to assemble/Impressively well built/Darn Cute
This was assembled by me, a 71 year old grandma, quickly and easily. And look at the heavy load I’ve already tested out in it! I’m sure it will handle the huge bags of garden and lawn products I have been struggling with. I am in love with the feature where the sides come off so I don’t have to lift heavy stuff up and out of my cart. My husband was especially impressed with its sturdiness. I’ve been looking at these for about a year now. I’m so glad I finally made the purchase.

Garden Must Have
If you are in the garden or move a lot of items, this wagon will be essential to have because you can get things done without putting tension on your body.

Durable!
I recently decided to tackle my own landscaping project. This involved border bricks and 18” x 18” pavers that weren’t light. Rather than buy a wheelbarrow, I went with a Gorilla cart and it’s proven to be a good investment. I’ve moved thousands of pounds of stone already, and—despite poor timing, as in the middle of Florida summer—the cart is superb. It’s easy to maneuver and super durable. The removable sides are nice, too.

Exactly what we needed!
This has been a great wagon for us! If you are looking for a sturdy cart that has multiple uses look no further!

It’s Orange, Not Red
Assembly was easy. Sides are a little flimsy, but they held up well enough when we loaded up the cart for our beach trip. Rolls smoothly. Ordered the red cart, but this thing is more orange than red.
pamik –
To be able to haul large items
As many have said it is more orange than red which is what it was supposed to be. My husband put it together on our deck and it rained overnight. When he took it down the steps two days later it leaked rusty water all down the steps. That is pretty quick for something to rust, we shall see what happens with the. We have used it working in the ysrc and so far it is working for that.

Good sturdy cart
The positive, the cart is a very sturdy cart and meets all my expectations so far. The negative is that the box it came in was badly damaged. No parts were damaged, but the hardware card was torn and one o-ring, washer for the tire install was missing. I filed a claim with the manufacturer. We’ll see if I get the replacement part in a timely manner. UPDATE: Missing part arrived in record time. I am stunned but happy.

THIS IS A BEAST!
This is, BY FAR, the best cart for ANY JOB. If you’ve ever tried to move large Osage wood logs, YOU KNOW how much pain you’re in for. Much like Oak, these logs weigh in over 400lbs without even trying. This cart made it so freaking easy to move them! The sides come off and you can strap the log to it and haul it to a better place for resawing. Buy it now! If it can withstand the punishment I put it through, it can handle anything you throw at it.Granted…. you still have to be strong enough to actually lift these hefty logs, but that’s how we’re built in Texas, lol.P.s…. tires were inflated to 25psi for moving the heavy logs.
N. Weaver –
Has its pros and cons
I have been mostly happy with this cart, but it’s not as tough as I would expect from something named “Gorilla.” The tabs that keep the sides attached are easily bent. And pneumatic tires are short-lived here in the desert, so the first thing I did was replace them with solid tires. It is ideal for stacking bundles that need to be tied together — less bending over for me and less blowing around for the twine and yard debris.
Amazon Customer –
Rough welds, flimsy mesh
Robust robust frame and wheels, but the steel mesh in the bed is flimsy. Depending on what you are transporting, add plywood to the deck. If the load is at all top heavy it tends to tip on turns. The handle does not lie flat making it awkward for storage. It would be helpful if the bar was cranked so that it could lie flat, or be easily removable with a pin and spring, like a trailer hitch. Rough welds on the frame result in ripped cargo, snagged clothing and the occasional cut. Aside from these points for improvement, it does the job.

Love it!
Debated whether to purchase due to the price. Finally gave in and bought it. Very happy with it! It is easy to pull, handle swivels to make very sharp turns, and it is very handy!

Strong wagon
The wagon arrived in a damaged box but everything was there. It was simple for me to assemble however there is barely any air in the tires. The wagon is exactly what I wanted and will be useful for me to move things around.

It’s so shiny!!!! Observations between the 800 pound and 400 pound cart
After reading all of the reviews on here I decided to give this cart a chance. It showed up in a cardboard box that looked a little on the rough side as it had a hard life while being shipped. Everything inside though was in perfect condition and the red paint on this is like fire engine red. One of the reviewer’s on here mentioned that the expanded metal mash is only welded on every third point. That is correct on my cart also. If I was building this, I would weld every single point but I do not think it will be that big of a deal. My entire plan all along was to take a piece of plywood and cut it to fit as a base inside the cart so the expanded wire mash isn’t taking the load of my items. I bought this cart with the intention of using it while camping and at the shooting range. I wanted to be able to fill it up with my 5 gallon water containers and shuttle water back to my camper. I also wanted to haul around boxes of shotgun shells in sporting clays and my other gear at the shooting range. After assembling the cart I have no doubt this will be a great cart for what I want to use it for!TESTING & ASSEMBLY This cart took no more than 20 minutes to assemble and the instructions were very clear and the package with the nuts and bolts was very well labeled. The steps of assembly in the directions are labeled one through five. The cardboard package with the nuts and bolts is also labeled one through five. The bolts in part one are used in a simply step one. Very easy. I was rather impressed by it considering this is probably from China. Please see the attached photos for reference. You will need a pair of pliers, and wrenches and sockets in the 11/16 inch and 7/8 inch size. The instructions in the actual simply could not have been simpler. After I got it it’s simple, I decided to climb into the cart and stand on it to test the strength of the wire mash. I am a 240 pound man and I stood on the wire mash between the cross braces and while it does sag, it did not break. I would not however carry heavy things in this cart resting solely on the wire mesh. If you cut a piece of plywood to act as a floor, I would not hesitate to Hall 800 pounds of cement bags in this cart. The sidewalls are secure enough when they are all hooked together. As it is designed, I think it should be all or nothing when Using the sidewalls. I bought the 800 pound capacity cart versus the 400 pound model because the cross braces were substantially stronger on the 800 pound cart. They are squared tubes that go all the way across from side to side. The 400 pound cart does not have such strong crossmembers. I figured I would pay the extra $20 to get a much stronger frame. And now let’s talk about the smell of the tires. They stink. I would not let this be a dealbreaker as every rubber tire for carts like this is going to smell badly. Get it outside, use it, get some dirt rubbed on them and let them air out. They should be fine. If you have ever been to Harbor freight and seen the tires they sell as replacements for carts like this one, you know what the tires smell like. As far as the quality of the tire itself, the rubber seems more of a plastic consistency than a rubber consistency like you would expect from a car tire. You can find tires to replace these if you desire at Harbor freight that would be better I think. The card was sitting outside my house before I assembled it in my garage so it was cold in the tires were stiff. That might be part of the problem. It was about 25°F outside and only 45°F in my garage. Depending on how smoothly the tires roll across the dirt I might get some better tires for it from Harbor freight that are more rubbery and therefore they would soak up the bumps better. All in all, I think the card is exactly what you would expect. The only thing that was surprising to me a little is that the sidewalls are shorter than I was expecting. I would say they are close to 10 inches high and I was expecting 12 inches high maybe.

Set up a snap, bed is cheap
Box arrived beaten and re-taped in several places. Fortunately there were no missing pieces and minor chips in paint. Set up was easy. Biggest complaint is that the bed is so cheaply made. Side panels weigh nothing and I don’t see them lasting long. Bottom of bed has same type of metal as sides and very flimsy. Definitely will need to put in some kind of liner to protect. Welds missing in several spots. My first gorilla cart is the plastic bed and has seen a lot of abuse, but holding up well (eight years and still going strong). Just don’t see this one taking as much abuse and lasting as long.

Updated: Nice cart, Needs improvement on build quality
Update 2021 Oct 26.: Updated to 4 stars. We have had this cart for a few months now and I have gotten some use out of it. I overcame the 3-wheel problem by balancing the torque on the two bolts holding the wheel frame to the wagon frame. Since the wheel frame came curved, you can get it just right if you work at it. This should have been produced flat. I have used this for hauling, and have easily hauled 3 50 lb. bags of concrete no problem. also able to haul 8 20 lb. patio stones works no problem. So Assume you are good up to 200 lbs. or perhaps some more. I have grown to like how the sides attach. We find this cart easier to pull than the one we replaced even over grass. So, all in all, I like it. No sign of rusting yet, but we keep it out of the weather.———————————————————-Our old cart rusted out so it was time to replace it. This looked like it would be close to the original so I purchased it. The design is much simpler with this cart. The sides do not fold down, you have to remove them if you lower them. They are attached by a simple tab and slot system, so there is no hinge. The wire mesh is rather large so stuff may pass through it more than you expect. The build quality is quite poor, as the cart on a flat surface only rolls on 3 wheels, it is lopsided. The handle is pretty weak looking, however the hardware used to bolt everything together looks pretty strong. All hardware comes on a sheet of cardboard with shrink wrap on it, so it is likely you will get everything. I am planning on pre-treating the insides of all the tubes with rust preventative to delay the inevitable. 800 lbs. capacity? No, I don’t think so. It should be fine though for a few bags of topsoil etc. The tires are air filled, so can become flat if not filled properly. I would prefer a solid tire. I bought the Red version, but it really looks more orange than red. Documentation indicates it is made in China. Wish I could find a stainless cart, or at least one that runs on all 4 wheels.

Durable workhorse cart – 3 years of heavy use now, it’s essential on our homestead
I’ve had this cart since February 2020 and use it almost daily, hauling all my garden supplies around the homestead including heavy soil amendment sacks, digging bars, buckets full of tools & varmint traps. It’s easy to maneuver even on slopes and over rough ground, holds up to lots of dirt and loose tools (shovels, garden implements, plant supports, etc.) Over 3 years of heavy outdoor use and it’s like new (except dirty, of course). I store it under cover in our damp climate but the rains catch us at times while out working – no hint of rust anywhere. I’m very happy with this cart & couldn’t keep up with all my outdoor orchard/garden/gopher & mole hunting work all over our place without it.

Frame is super twisted
The frame is twisted, and because of the sturdiness is not something you can bend back into place so that all tires touch the ground at the same time. So, sturdiness rating is spot on, but because the frame came twisted, only 2 tires touch the ground leaving the other 2 tires 1-2 inches off the ground; I think this would make it very difficult to pull something heavy in the cart. Will attempt to contact seller and update review if they make it right.

Difficult to tighten, not aligned
The materials and parts are all of good quality especially the tires. Complaint is that the nuts are a pain to tighten on this model, need the strength of a gorilla. Also the final step when placing the cart upright doesn’t make sense. The cart doesn’t align and doesn’t clamp correctly. For the price I got it around 80-90 dollars I got what I paid for I guess would be perfect if the nuts had better threading and the cart was an even rectangle but due to poor machine cuts it’s slightly crooked

Great cart and Customer service
The cart was very easy to assemble. It arrived with a broken side rail and I contacted Customer Service. Customer Service Rep, Shawn called back and could not have more helpful. They replaced the damaged part in 4 days. Shawn is an asset to Gorilla Carts.

Love it
I garden year round. This cart is perfect for me. At 66 this was easy for me to assemble. I love that the sides are removable. The cart is very easy to pull even with 4 bags of wet potting soil on the bed. No would buy this again.

Not very sturdy
Its pretty thin metal and not very sturdy. 3 of the panels where the little bolt handles were bent and wouldn’t fot without bending. The tires were all flat and needed air (not that big of a deal). It will serve its purpose but kinnda disappointed in the quality.

Here Are The Real Facts !
The cart was easy to assemble , once assembled , the cart appears aesthetically pleasing to the eye . For starters , don’t drop anything on the wire mesh bottom. Put a sturdy liner over the bottom , preferably a cut to size piece of 3/8″ thick plywood. The wire mesh measures .044 thick over the powder coat paint , and the width is .082 . If you drop anything on the wire mesh , you will surely kink it , as it is easy to bend with your fingers. I question the wisdom of rating this cart at 800 lbs. . Perhaps in a laboratory setting with proper bracing and support it actually held 800 lbs. . If you are using this cart out on your lawn and loaded it with 600 lbs. , I don’t think you will be able to move it , unless you are exceptionally strong. The axles are .618 in diameter , and the wheel hubs have bearings in them. The tires come fully inflated. The tire size is 4.10/3.5-4 x 10 inches. There is no ” Ply ” rating on these tires . Inflation is 30 lbs. max , and rated at 300 lbs. max weight per tire. It would be a great cart to pull small children around in. And it will be a great cart for our use , as we will not be using it for heavier duty purposes. The side gates and the end gates are made of the same thin duty wire mesh. The outer frame work of the gates that enclose the wire mesh within is very light duty , don’t drop anything heavy on it or sit on it. The steering mechanism works great , you are able to turn sharp corners , however , beware if you have a very heavy unbalanced load while turning a sharper corner , it may flip on you.

Much better than expected
This cart is well designed and built! I reviewed many many carts before selecting Gorilla Carts- they had the best review ratings and I agree. It was easy to assemble with 2 adjustable wrenches or sockets, a pier of pliers and a hand bicycle air pump to fill the tires. The instructions were clear.I bought it to carry groceries from my SUV to my elevator then into my kitchen. It can stand on end for easy storage in a closet. I recommend this product.

Easy to build
First off, it’s durable. My package came with a “we’re sorry we broke the box” sticker from USPS; despite this, the contents were all intact.Assembly was simple. Protip: the hardware card is numbered by the step you use those fasteners in . . . which I eventually figured out . . . after being confused how I had the wrong number of washers for step one . . . . Altogether, took maybe ten minutes, top, and that includes unboxing, installing the first side wrong, then after I figured out which way the tabs were supposed to face, installing the other side wrong. And the tailgate. Because I’m dumb.I can’t attest to long-term durability just yet; I’ve only had it for a day, but here’s a couple lessons from that day:1. You can lift it by the removable sides. A nice feature. Probably you aren’t supposed to.2. It can carry 9 2.5 gallon jugs of water, which weighs about 200 pounds. That isn’t a serious test for its capability, but3. With creativity, it can do that up stairs. (likely, you aren’t supposed to do that, either)I bought it for one purpose, which is to carry a dozen antique typewriters to a convention. Last time, we had to use a professional flatbed cart. We’re gonna see if this baby’s got what it takes, both in terms of cubic capacity, and weight. If that goes well, I’ve got an old GM inline six that needs to be moved across the backyard . . . which might prove to be the ultimate test of the cart.My only minor complaint is that as far as I know, it only comes in one color. However, it’s entirely possible that there were other color options and I was too dumb to figure it out, just like I was too dumb to figure out that the fasteners marked ‘1’ were to be used in step 1, and so forth.

Super useful!
This was such a good buy!Very strong, easy to assemble, and no effort to move around. We use this cart to carry stuff (logs, plants gardening waste, pavers) around the backyard. We also use it to carry fishing equipment to and from the river – and we keep on finding new things to use it for.

Stout Cart
My cart arrived right on time via the post office. All the parts were in the box and assembly took about 5 minutes. The smallest nut is 11/16ths and the large ones are 7/8ths. That’s pretty good sized stock. The cage sides are a little tricky to get in place, but you can decide whether you need them installed or leave the tailgate off. You’ve got to have both sides and one end on or it’ll fall off. A piece of plywood 37″x20″ will line the bottom nicely. The braces across the bottom provide good structure, but that spanded metal mesh is the smallest gauge available and is not like security cages that are about 3 times the size. The carton has a shipping weight of 48 lbs. The pneumatic tires will need additional inflation before loading as they seem to be almost devoid of air. They are, however, stiff enough to roll properly. The cart has almost a zero turning radius and it’s fun to try to parallel park it along the garage wall.If there is a weak line in this chain, surprisingly it’ll be the handle. I don’t think it’ll will stand up to very much before it buckles. A handy guy will be able to fabricate a replacement without any difficulty, or buy a new handle.I doubt you could get 800 lbs. of anything into or onto this buggy and if you could lift 800 lbs. you wouldn’t need the cart.In total, though, that price is consistent with the big orange store minus the shipping. Amazon charged tax on this product as it sold in Texas.I’m happy I’ve got it and already two friends have stated that they would order one before the day was over.DO NOT leave this baby unattended on your sidewalk or driveway or you won’t have it long.If I had a kid, I’d get him one of these before I’d get him a little red wagon. My neighbor wants to put a lawn mower motor on his.

Strong enough for food pantry work
I have bought ‘beach carts’ for our food pantry – at least 10 to date. Their weakness is the axle that the wheels depend from. The wheels are push inserts into a hole in a metal piece. We fill the carts with canned goods, frozen meat, and 50 lb bags of potatoes and cabbage and the metal bends. This gorilla cart differs in that the the cross piece is tubular metal bolted to the frame and the wheels go onto the axle that is a part of the cross piece. This looks and feels a lot more sturdy than the beach carts. A disadvantage is that the carts don’t fold up so three carts take space to store. But they can hold as much or more than the beach carts and they last.
No Fat, No Flavor –
Cheap, lightweight, bent mesh & siderails. Machining is garbage, 1 siderail couldn’t be installed.
First: What I received, shipped to me as a new product, was OBVIOUSLY a poorly repackaged return. The box was a disaster, torn in many places and barely held together by the miles of clear packing tape added to the original. Items inside the box (all parts were included) that were supposed to be held down with ties were left as they were repacked by whoever first opened and started to remove the contents (second and third pic show how one part was tied down as originally packed and how the other side was left untied). Most parts were loose and flying around in the box as it was moved. The steel “mesh” was cheap, thin-gauge wire that will NEVER hold up and was easy to bend by pushing on it with one finger. Side rails were both bent and damaged slightly from the haphazard way the item was packaged.Still, for the short money paid, I WOULD have kept this, if not for the fact that one of the tabs used to install one of the sides was welded inaccurately, so it would not allow for it to be installed (first picture). Sure, I could have taken out a grinder and taken off some metal, but nope, this is going back. It’s crap. And this brand, Gorilla, is cheapening their name and brand by jumping on the bandwagon of putting their name on cheap, and cheaply made, junk from places where they have no control over quality. Too bad, since I purchased this based on the reputation Gorilla has for solid quality products, a reputation that is now sullied.

Great for outside chores
I use this when gardening and moving furniture or heavy items outdoors. The sides are removed easily and is very sturdy. It’s made my life so much easier. I recommend this.
