Very light, and arrived with some indentations but it was easy enough to pop them out. I don’t use them for practical light, they just sit under the tv, so I can’t comment on how they’d be as a bedside lamp for reading. I think they’d be fine for most people’s eyes, and the battery life seems pretty good. They are still going strong on the first set of batteries I’ve put in ~20 hours later.

I put batteries in and turned it on – the bulb didn’t light, so it doesn’t work, but worse, it immediately started to smoke and smelt like burning plastics and I had to bang it on the table to knock the batteries out. It’s just lucky it happened immediately rather than me leaving the room and it burning my house down. Remarkably unsafe. A shame because they look great.. I just wish they didn’t burst into flames.I understand this probably isn’t a common default, but even a low percentage defaulting like this is too many, if you happen to be the one to end up with the one that sets on fire when you walk out of the room…

These are great lights, little smaller in size than I thought but they have a great look and do the job. Not enough light if I was going read a book but provide light as I use them is a little camping cabin I have on my property and they work well.

I ordered 4 of this for my balcony. I really only needed 2 because they are so bright. They are very lightweight so the wind will blow them off of a ledge if you place it there. These are perfect! Love the light it gives. My neighbor is buying her some.

Brighter than expected
These lights work great. Arrived 2 days earlier than the expected delivery date and although they are slightly smaller than I thought they are very bright. Using these for lighting in my outdoor fully screened in gazebo and they work great. Also have received many comments on how nice they look and their brightness. The lamps are soldered to the wires from the batteries. I bought two last year and one quit working this spring. I kept them outdoors on a covered porch.
