Due to moving into a furnished top floor flat and having the world’s heaviest and least comfortable faux-leather sofa, I started looking around for a solution to my discomfort problem.Moving the dense sofa out wasn’t an option, due to the narrowness of the staircase and the weight of the piece. Moving a new one in wasn’t an option for the same reasons, plus gravity, plus there would be nowhere to put it due to the crap sofa already being in place.Solution: lightweight garden furniture.This chair is very comfortable , appears to be well made (for the price) and is lightweight, portable and affordable. It’s also strong (I’m no lightweight) and stable (!!).One thing stops me giving it a five star review – the mechanism. To be fair, the accompanying literature does warn the purchaser of the danger.If you slide the chair back while gripping the armrests, be prepared to lose skin from your fingers. I did it twice. The first time resulted in a blood blister and pain. The second time resulted in losing a third of the skin from my left hand ring -finger, the apppearance of quite a lot of blood and also pain.I’ve since figured out how to push back and keep my hands atop the arm rests rather than grip them (as instinct tells me to do)Overall though, what a relief to have a comfortable option in my flat. The thing lies completely flat, so relaxation is easily achievable.

Considering the price paid for these chairs they are very good value for money.Pros: very comfortable (good for afternoon snoozes in the shade); cool; lightweight; movable headpillow; easy to use and clean and, so far, have taken up to an 100kg person without showing any strain.Cons: the mechanism locking the chair is where the real cost saving shows – it’s made of plastic and on one of the chairs lost it’s locking ability within a few uses (the second chair is still fully functional) but the chair is still very usable, you just remember not to move too quickly.From current observations I would expect these chairs to last at least two seasons with frequent use which I consider great value for money in comparison to similar products on the market

I have just received these loungers but first impressions are that they are light, easily stored, comfortable ( though to sit upright for a long period there’s not much back support), easy to adjust from sitting to reclining. I don’t know how sturdy they will be so I’ll reserve one star. The weather is so uncertain that I’m reluctant to spend a lot on garden furniture that wont get much use throughout the summer so these fitted the bill perfectly. On the whole they are excellent value for money. Very fast dispatch and delivery and just managed to get an afternoon in them before the clouds began to gather yet again.

I spent many a happy hour looking into LaFuma zero gravity reclining chairs, pondering the extortionately high costs and wondering whether they were worth it.Then I stumbled upon these chairs and thought I would just go for it and I am so glad I did. Firstly I ordered the chairs on a Sunday afternoon and they arrived on Tuesday afternoon and I was suitably impressed with the speed of delivery.Upon opening the box and setting up the chairs in the garden is was very impressed with the quality of the chairs, the smooth action of the reclining feature and the ease when folding them away for storage.My advice – don’t waste your money of the expensive chairs – these ones are just as good and cost a fraction of the price!

The chairs are quite comfy. The fold easily and are sturdy so heavy ish. Some others have sun screens and side cup holders but they aren’t necessary. You can also buy the cup holders separately.

A little difficult to recline the first few times in using and please be careful as hurt my toes first time jammed between the foot rest and floor. Otherwise ok, could have more detailed instructions. One needs to be nimble.

So I got these today, immediately went to the garden, and just chilled. They are comfy as hell, built sturdy for a 14 stone 6ft 2 male, and have the correct body positioning. The only reason I am not writing this review outside is because I’m working from home and lunch is over. Top stuff, def recommend

APPALLING!! I bought these in September last year but they never got used because of British weather! We started using just one of them about 3 weeks ago and it started to “give” at one of the seams. When I sat on it this week it ripped completely and I was lucky I didn’t have an accident. I got in touch with them as I thought it would have a 12 month guarantee but apparently we are out of time for returns. I was a little hesitant when I bought them because of the price as similar ones could be twice the price.They arrived within the week and were well wrapped, I was surprised how good they actually are for the money and when people come around they are impressed, no signs of flaking paintwork and they are certainly comfortable, the only little niggle I have is that we cannot seem to actually ‘lock’ the arms , which may be a blessing as no doubt i would forget to ‘unlock’ them and perhaps do damage.I have now had the chairs for about 3 months and used them only about a dozen times , the fabric around the eyelets is beginning to tear and split away, which is a shame . I have contacted Amazon and am in the process of returning them.

Within a month of buying these chairs one of them fell apart at the arms. I requested the seller to pick up and replace teh broken one. However, I didn’t have a box to return them in and as they use Yodel (worst courier ever!!) they woudln’t pick up without a box. the seller requested me to buty a box (would have been £15) to return the item. Despite numerous emails it was not resolved so I ended up fixing it myself. Not sure how long the fix will last!Additionally the material the seats are made out of it very cheap and sweaty in the heat and the way the material fits with the frame is not very comfy for your butt.Worth noting that Homebase have some in stock (2 for £10 less) and they are very good quality and comfort.

Very good in all ways, BUT – the locking mechanism on the recline position IS a little weak. Good value and very comfy. Also, one of us is 6′ 3″ and it’s a little short, but – design wise – I’m not sure much can be done about that, as the seat needs to be a certain height , which dictates the measurement from back of knee to the ground!

Didn’t want to buy yet another set of lounger cushions and these are a great comfy alternative. Half the price of any from even the cheapest of shops, couldn’t believe how solid they felt, no complaints about the manufacture. They have one smooth action involving balance and a rather flimsy locking mechanism which is why I’ve given it four stars not five but I’m overall really pleased with them and will be buying 2 more.

Great value for money, relaxing chairs, that take a little getting used to as it feels as if you are literally floating!Body controlled, so if you lean back and relax then the chair moves backwards. Use the arm lock to keep the chair in position.Will update as time goes along, as only used once so far

These chairs are very good value and live up to all expectations. However delivery by City Link was terrible. Tracking shows item sent on 27th Jan, estimated delivery 30th Jan. finally arrived 4th Feb with box in pieces and chairs marked by rusty floor of delivery van. Tracking shows 4 attempts at delivery but failure due to incorrect address, although the address was correct on the parcel and nobody has failed to find us in the 25 years we have lived here. Not Amazons fault but bloody annoying all the same. Moral of story, don’t use City Link if you want it to arrive in one piece and on time.

Loved the chairs they are very comfy great design but the frames were scratched and paint was peeling off when recieved did not complain as they were needed urgent. Still happy with them just hope they dont rust.

These chairs are comfy & easy to use. My only gripe is I find the mechanism for locking them in the position of your choice a bit stiff, but this wouldn’t put me off buying them again. It’s maybe because I’m not used to them yet.

I bought 2 of these chairs which I used just for a short while last autumn when travelling for a fortnight in our motor home. They were very comfortable and when we got to Spain I decided to leave them there and purchase a further two to replace those in the motor home. The second pair were used for the first time at the beginning of May and they had a maximum of 8 hours use. When we arrived in Spain I noticed that the material had split down the sides of the chairs along the stitching. I then decided to look at the first pair which were in the garage and discovered that they were the same. In fact when we used them the whole seat ripped out completely. These products were not misused and were definitely not fit for purpose. The company that sold them to us were reluctant to answer my emails explaining the defects but did eventually respond simply to say speak to the manufacturer. Although these chairs are not expensive they are definitely not value for money and obviously a shoddy product.

Arrived on time. Outer packaging was somewhat battered and torn, however the two chairs were fine inside. Used them a few times and all seems good, sturdy, comfy and easy to set up. The locking mechanism for securing the chair in your desired position is very simple to use and effective, hope they stay like this! At this stage, a good product and may consider buying another 2.

Where do I start? The whole family love the recliners. It’s a good thing I bought more than one so there are no fighting over it. I would definite recommend. In fact I also bought the side storage tidy for drinks, mobile and other little items making the reclining even more attractive with the storage. I can see myself using reclining outside from now on. A great buy.

I have seen these chairs at various prices, some are at least £30 for one, so was worried to buy 2 chairs for the price of one. Having tried them out they are the same material and elastic as the more expensive ones. My only commit would be that the locking mechanism is made of plastic and therefore may get weaker over time. The locking mechanism is used to lock the chair into a reclining position so may get weaker.

These are good quality chairs but it is stretching it a bit to call them zero gravity. Zero gravity to me means the ability to put the chair into a horizontal position with the feet off the floor. These are fitted with a cheap plastic lock that will not hold the chair in that position. I place a big stone planter under the feet end of the chair and that holds it in position. I would say this is its only fault.

To be honest. I have never sat or fallen asleep for longer than in any other garden chair. If I had a bigger garden I would of bought another Pack of Two of these chairs.Brilliant, well worth the money. No Problem with delivery either. All went to plan.Would certainly recomend you buy & try it.Must remember to put sun cream on first before falling asleep. Ended up looking a lovely Pink!
