As I am quit a heavy person I thought I would give this chair a go it is very wide comfortable with the seat cover on not so without it I do find it difficult to lower the chair whilst on it to lay back is uncomfortable for me with my disability but I like the two chair locks on the arms but overall I would recommend for the larger person.

Literally love this chair…. Didn’t realise it was extra wide when I ordered but the extra roominess is great… when you recline back your feet are rested on the bottom bar of the chair which takes the amazingness to a whole new level!

Worth buying this recliner. It’s sturdy and easy to change to various inclined positions. The chair is very comfortable to sit/lie on with or without the padded cushion.Delivery was quick. It’s worth buying it. I got it so I can lie down and fall asleep in the gazebo. This chair will be kept away from the elements (rain etc). Not taken any photos as the ones the seller has posted for this product is accurate.

Some mixed feelings about this chair.I ordered this chair on 18th Aug with an estimated delivery date of a month. I was in two minds as I thought I would not get the chair until the summer was over. However, I was incredibly impressed when it arrived 4 days after dispatch so it had clearly been sent airfreight. That was a huge plus as I have already had many relaxing days on my patio. Other people don’t seem to have been so lucky.The chair is BIG and with the cushion is very comfortable. One minor point is that the chair mechanism automatically extends the foot support when you recline the back rest. So if the back is near vertical the foot rest is down. You can’t have the back up and the foot support up. I like to read in the garden so I have to use a separate foot rest. This is not a big deal for me as I used a foot rest with my last chair. The cup holder is useful but ensure you sit in the chair before you put your drink in the cup holder otherwise it will spill when you sit down.Two other small minus points. The chair was slightly damaged during transit but not enough to impair its use. Also, like other reviewers, there are a couple of rust spots which I intend to treat with Hammerite.Nevertheless, despite the minor faults I am very pleased with the chair although I did get it at a good price (£80).

The chair itself is comfortable, but it was delivered with a faulty nut with its thread stripped out and therefore we could not tighten the nut over the bolt. I had to search for a nut to replace the faulty nut. This was an inconvenience especially considering how much I paid for its purchase! The chair was packed with the full knowledge that it was faulty because there were signs on the nut that there had been some attempt made to rectify the problem with some ‘blue’ glue. I wasn’t impressed at all.

This product is not worth £145.Being generous, I’d say it’s worth £70-80 absolute max.Firstly, it arrived in a large cardboard box which was damaged in several places. It has no internal protective packaging apart from a thin plastic bag.There are no operation nor care and maintenance instructions.The metalwork is marked in several places so I’d say the condition was ex-display rather than brand new.The padded cushion is cheaply made and nowhere close to being as well padded as is indicated in the listing photo.It’s looks fairly sturdy but I wonder just how long the rivets and joints will last.On the plus side, it’s reasonably comfortable and can be locked in various positions and it arrived a month early which was a nice surprise.I am as yet undecided if I will keep the product or return it.Overall I’m a bit disappointed.*UPDATE*: I contacted the seller expressing my concerns and accepted a 40% refund.I have tightened up a few nuts and bolts, lubricated the main moving parts using silicone spray and the chair is now operating smoothly. The seller did their best to make things right and the partial refund came through in two days.I have decided to keep the chair.

We had to wait ages for these to arrive and the day that they did, the lovely summer weather that we had been enjoying, stopped, to be replaced by interminable rain, for the remainder of the year. They did arrive ahead of schedule but one of the boxes had been bashed about, resulting in the drinks holder being damaged, in that box. The seller is going to replace this. The chairs are comfortable to sit in and easy to recline. It is however, much harder to get back into a totally upright position and to get out of them. The extra width is also restricted because the hinging mechanism faces inwards from the arms. It would have been much better, if it was designed so that this hinge was on the outside.

This is the sort of product that is quite hard to review because it was purchased to meet a specific need, mine. Basically I wanted a reclining garden chair that would support someone of the heavier persuasion. And that’s exactly what I got. It’s got a good sturdy frame without having that weigh-a-ton clumsiness that so often goes with. There’s no construction element. Basically you take off the packaging, open it out and you’re ready to go. The cushion is optional as is the neck/lumbar cushion. The main cushion is quite light and certainly not weather proof but that’s not a problem for me. There’s an optional drinks/phone tray too. It’s comfortable to sit on and easy to move, exactly what I was looking for.I wrote the above when I first got this chair and forgot to submit (duh!). Glad in a way because now I can add that it’s proved very comfortable, easy to move and up to a lot of use. Would buy again.

I think Im this chair is more travelled than anyone I know. It took over a month, nearer 2 to arrive in their warehouse – if it was out of stock I’d not have ordered. It arrived one of the plastic tube ends of as broken. Not really their fault unless maybe it for to their warehouse like that but I will never know. The drink tray thing is poor it kinda rests in there but at an angle it doesn’t clip onThe chair is reasonably comfortable and it feels fairly sturdy. I am enough under the weight limit that I can’t vouch for what it would be like nearer. But I will say the going from sitting to reclining is quite stiff even with my weight on it so maybe fully laiden it would be more soIt would have been worth the money if it came quicker. I would have ordered a different one if I had known it was as long a wait but it’s an ok chair

We were looking for a chair for our relative who is recovering from a hip operation and were concerned about her tipping over. This was a great choice for her. It’s very sturdy, without being too heavy and although the cushion is much flatter than the pictures, it’s very comfortable.

I am overweight so have been looking for a garden chair for a while that I can relax on in the garden without worrying I am going to break it! Early days so far but this seems to fit the bill.It arrived in good condition 2 weeks earlier than earliest estimated delivery date and no assembley required. It is light enough to take with you if travelling in the car.As I said early days but reaaly pleased that for the first time in years can sit out in comfort in the garden.

Looked everywhere for a wide fitting recliner that takes extra weight and this was brilliant. Easy opening and closing and comfortable. Slight downfall that the cushions are not as padded as they seem so you can slightly feel the bar underneath but its not really a problem. Just needs more padding but defo worth it. Also arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. They are on the expensive side but difficult to find heavy weight chairs like these. Also love that they are easy to lift and store.

The chair arrived a week or so earlier than suggested. It has a dent on the bar along the bottom edge. It seems comfortable. Is quite bulky to move around. Not used to the controls yet so putting into the recline position whilst seated has proved a problem. Absolutely no instructions at all within the box. Box was quite battered but of course it had come a long way. Overall think we are pleased with the item.

These chairs arrived today and I have set them up in seconds. Small amount of damage on one of the cup holders but, hey, they’ve come a long way. The chairs are indeed comfy and sturdy and I would have given them 5 stars if only they’d been another 8-12 inches longer (I’m 6 feet tall and hang over the bottom rail). All in all, very good and arrived two weeks early.

The chair arrived a month ahead of schedule. The outer packaging was badly damaged but did not affect the product. The picture of the cushion looks far better padded than the one I received. It took me a while to find out how the cup holder fitted on , it was on the axle. The chair reclines with the pressure of your body moving backwards which was good. Pity about the cushion.

Just got it. Box was battered but the chair was ok. Seems fit for purpose. We shall see. So far though I’m happy to recommend this. However it was delivered a day late with no apologies or explanation. The courier was Hermes. They are impossible to contact and seem to have deliberately designed a ‘ contact us’ system that will make even the calmest person shaking with rage, anger and frustration. I will cancel any future orders which are farmed out to Hermes. I really cannot tell you how useless they are. I have no confidence in them and exhort Amazon to stop using them. They are ALWAYS crap.

I found this chair very strong and comfortable, It is comfortable without the cushion, A lot of reviews mention that the cushion is too thin, but I think its meant to enhance the look of the chair than for all out comfort. No instructions required as it operates like a deck chair. It takes a little time to get used to reclining it – just lower the black handles find your desired angle and raise the black handle to lock in position. Arrived a lot quicker than expected (days not weeks) and packaging was suffice. Chuang was also very helpful when I contacted before buying. I highly recommend this product.

Nice Chairs well made, but a couple of issues packaging was not upto a trip from China, just cardboard boxes with chairs in a plastic bag, therefore a couple of chips on the paintwork, also the padding is plain grey and quite thin which is not shown in the picture on the website

What is not clear from the picture when you buy it, is the fabric the manufacturer used for this chair. The metal frame is good and sturdy, the cupholder and the head pillow are very handy. But whoever decided that you can use the flimsy, thin, lingerie like fabric for the outdoor furniture should be sucked from the factory. Will have to spend another 70 pounds now to buy the proper outdoor mattress for this chair, so the overall will definitely not a good value for money

For what you pay, the cushion is really quite shocking, absolutely nothing like the image, really thin and doesn’t feel like it will last very long, cheap material, also… They sent me the wrong colour which was £55 cheaper and presumed I’d be OK with that… Erm… How about no.Chair is sturdy, quite heavy, and nice and wide which makes it comfy… It would be comfier if the cushion was as advertised though, standard Chinese marketing.Not worth the price in my opinion.

The chair cushions are not at all as shown in the product photo. Thos esent were very flimsy and not well padded at all. We are using our own cushions from old seating. Also the removable headrest is very poorly made and not what we expected. They look as if they would fall apart very easily. The actual chair structure is very good and solid.

Well made and sturdy.One of the two chairs delivered was definitely a” Friday afternoon in the paint shop” job.A complaint to the supplier resulted in a VERY speedy replacement,most impressive. Both chairs arrived well within dates promised and although cartons were opened at one end the contents were in good order. The chairs themselves seem extremely well constructed + extra wide and very comfortable – I think well worth the cost and would recommend. 1 Month Later – have used both chairs a few times and I must say they are extremely comfortable to sit on (with or without supplied cushions) and no problems with heavy weight !!
