Yet to use this in anger so just a short review. For such a large chair, it packs down relatively small. Very lightweight and so easy to put up.All the poles are interconnected by elastic cord, and they almost want to put themselves together. I thought it might have been a bit too low to the ground but it’s a nice height for me. (5′ 9″)Feels sturdy when you sit on it and comfy. No reason this can’t last for years if you look after it.This will come in handy when I’m out walking in the hills or birding.I’m happy enough with my purchase and intend to buy a couple more for my camping and festival loving son and daughter.

The media could not be loaded.
Overall good, still can use on soil surface, I believe. Brought it for rocky mountain at Lake District… A bit disappointed with design as it too significant than surrounding beautiful of nature. Would be try to monotonous option like black next time.

Exactly what I was looking for to take on holiday. I have arthritis in my hips & find sunbeds extremely uncomfortable & usually buy a recliner chair when I am there at around £35 each time & have to leave it there as they are too big & heavy to bring home. This is so lightweight & folds up into a carry case that fits in hand luggage. It is also sturdy & very comfortable almost like a hammock. It also has a high back with a built in pillow. Total game changer for me.

I bought this chair 7 weeks ago, then saved it in the cupboard until needed last week. Used it last weekend, found it to be excellent in every respect- lightweight, handy, easy to assemble and pack away- but got it out for a second time this week and after one day, discovered that all 4 feet were broken and/ or breaking! Am unfortunately too late for an exchange so at some point soon, this chair will presumably be useless!UPDATE: Amazon issued a full refund
Mr Wendy Smith –
Bought these for Motorhome extremely light and great product highly recommended

I bought this to take camping when I go on my motorbike. It’s small enough to fit in my topbox or pannier and it’s quite light. Easy to put together in fact the frame tries to put itself together as you are holding it. I’m 6 foot and 14 stone, it takes my weight without any problems. It feels quite comfortable but obviously it’s not going to be as comfortable as a large full size camp chair. I’ve tried to use stools in the past as I travel light and these chairs are a million times better. Even a side pocket to stand a can of drink in. The frame and fabric seem very strong and well made, it’s better than I thought it would be. I recommend it, I’m very happy with mine.
Peter Colledge –
Excellent, well priced chairs. They are durable and lightweight with a good enough pocket on the side to hold a drink well. However they would not be suitable for people that are slightly ‘bigger’. I am a slim 6ft male, weighing 73kg and with a 40 inch chest and 32 inch waist. I don’t think you could comfortably sit on this chair with a waist above a 36 or chest greater than 44 inches.
James K –
Light and seems sturdy if you are careful with it. Ideal for days out or day festivals.
Stephen –
Very lightweight. 1 foot broke after 3rd use.

I carried it in my cabin luggage for when I arrived at HK Airport and had to wait 12 hours at a desk and chair for my Covid test results. The camping chair allowed me to have a few hours nap and really relax during the wait. I would recommend to assemble and pack away once before doing it in public. I’m glad I did have a practice run as you do need to hold all the poles with a strong hand when packing away! Well worth the price!
Karen C. –
We have three identical chairs, all purchased this yr. We were in need of small chairs for our camping trips as space is a major issue in the car. I find the design very comfortable, the sitting position does take a little getting used to. Husband finds his a little on the narrow side, around hips, and daughter loves hers. The size the chairs pack down to is unbelievable and the weight is next to nothing. Really happy, just hope they last as they aren’t the cheapest.
gary murrell –
Good product but sent wrong design asked for camouflage got totally wrong pattern
Saxonpod –
Well technically it’s a chair, it has legs & you can sit on it. What I mean is…. A chair has a seat & a backrest, you will be sat in an upright position. Some chairs have a backrest which is reclinable. With this chair you are permanently sat at an position of 45 degrees. I’ve never seen a chair with a backrest set to 45 degrees, it’s truly bizarre. I’m not sure what the designer was thinking. If you extend to do things like, eat your dinner and look at peoples faces while talking to them, forget it! If you like staring at the clouds, this is the chair for you.

I bought his to replace my OEX short backed version.I was not disappointed,as the high back is great and nice and comfy,it,s surprising how much protection it gives from a cold wind.I like it for car/base camp use,👍
Jonathan Eves –
This chair has a huge design floor which means you get squeezed when you sit in it. All of the pole are very bendy and it feels fragile. Not sure it will last to long. My wife chose a similar chair made by NiceC which is considerably more comfortable and solid. Also it’s the same price.
Catherine Leader –
Very easy to set up and very comfortable too.
Jonathan Unwin –
Ordered this to replace a folding chair that I used for airshows, which was quite heavy and bulky. This is very light and really don’t notice the additional weight when on my camera bag. Have only used this once so far, so can’t comment about the long term sturdiness yet, but seems ok so far.
Mr. N. Kang –
Lightweight, compact and comfortable. Easy to assemble and then dissemble.
Tommyj87 –
Never as comfy as a dull on camping chair, but for something light weight trekking for a few days – it’s ideal!
Reshagen –
The colour looks better in reality. Not as turquoise as on the picture. More blue. It’s very stable considering how light it is.Quick & easy to assemble and put away again.A friend of mine has one that I’ve tried before and been very happy with.I weigh just under 90kg and it works great for me. Can definitely recommend it.
Bob_Bodd –
Appears rugged and well made. Good size for me as a 6′ 3″ tall chap. Intend to use with bike or rucksack but will need strapping to outer. A bit fiddly to re-pack as elasticsted pole retainers want constantly to reassemble.
Amazon Customer –
Haven’t used the chair yet other than to test it but seems perfectly satisfactory.
JANIS ASHWORTH –
As discribed
AFBOBBLE –
Amazing for the money. However not quite as comfy as helinox XL but then that’s 4 x the price! A couple of criticisms I have – it’s a small seat so a very snug fit around the backside! If you’re a little larger it might be too small. Also your arms do hang over the sides but as I said it’s a bit of a bargain! For the money I’d definitely recommend it.
Big Gee –
It is lightweight and it is very portable but it’s a bit of a faff to put up!
steve oliphant –
Does what it should, compact a d light. I might question price. But great chair
Amazon Customer –
Love this chair. Bought two in different coloured trim and they are so comfy. Easy to carry for a picnic in a small backpack. Love the head rest feature too. Also the feet are designed to not sink in soft ground. Highly recommend.
Shopper man –
Easy to assemble and sturdy. Expensive for the quality.
Reece –
This is a good product, light weight and packs up to a third of the size of the standard folding chairs
AntiMatter –
This chair is perfect for motocamping. Compact, lightweight and surprisingly comfy. It does not like uneven ground but that is pretty standard for camping chairs. Everybody around me looked at my chair wondering if it was comfy and strong. By the end of the night, everyone tried it out and took note of the name. Its a little winner!
Chris –
Bought this for camping and was not disappointed. Support for my back and head. I would definitely recommend this. I did look at the Trekology chair prior to buying this but glad I got this instead.
Jen –
I’ve only used them once so far. I’ve found the chairs to be compact and lightweight. They are a bit fiddly to put together and pack away.
Franklins –
Love this chair! Love how it folds up and fits into a bag. Love how lightweight and comfortable it is. Love sitting in it with a campfire roaring, toasting some marshmallows. What’s not to love about it?!
nathan –
I’ve been using this chair to work outside in and the seating position is very comfortable. It’s lightweight, a little complicated to set up but very easy to take down.
J –
Good chair to take away camping. Not quite as comfy as our normal camping chairs, but is lighter and packs into a smaller carry case.
eidonian –
It’s very easy to use as all the frame tubes are elasticated together. The quality seems to be great too.
Gareth Barrett –
I bought this for occasional motorcycle camping and leisure activities. It arrived today and have to say the quality is excellent and it’s taken my 100kgs frame without an issue; looking forward to my next trip👍
warren o. –
This chair is an unbelievable bit of kit, great buy. You won’t be disappointed and as others have said at a fraction of the cost of other similar chairs
sheila-skeela –
I love this chair as it will be light and easy to carry , unfortunately I have not used it yet as it was bought for the proms in the park and that will not be happening this year now
Dush88 –
Good for price will see how long it lasts . I bought it to use for camping on the bike
Matthew Deeks –
Love this chair. Lightweight, high back for extra comfort. We have a Campervan so space is of a premium, this ticks all the boxes.Easy to put together, great chair 👍🏼
Amazon Customer –
Very comfortable and lightweight superb for camping or fishing
TheNomad –
Bought this over the trekology one as I wanted the higher back. Not the smallest package but small and light enough for most purposes. When I first put it up at home, I was very pleased with how sturdy it was, yet on my first use out in the field, it felt very unsteady, wobbly, and subsequently uncomfortable (it wasn’t the most comfortable to begin with). The poles rotate and move when locked in place, so they don’t naturally hold the material out at the point of greatest stretch. Therefore, the material didn’t feel as if it was on securely, and came off once or twice when I stood up. Overall, it didn’t feel safe and/or durable and secure enough for me to want to use, let alone keep. For the price, I was disappointed.
Celine –
Nice velcro loop to secure the legs. Very comfortable with some arm support (depending on your size) bounces comfortably in a hammock like fashion, nice to have head support. Very comfortable and good quality.
A. Matthew –
Great chairs. Does what it says on the tin. Light use so far but all good and no sign of any issues.
Stuart Reynolds –
very comfy chair, easy to set up and doesnt take up much space.clip it to a rucksack for ease of carrying, very impressed, would buy again.
sportscafe –
Very compact, light and comfortable
AllanNCH –
Brilliant and extremely light weight chairs. Incredibly small when stowed away in their bags. Will be the cause of some amusement if anyone watches you put one together but definitely worth the effort.
Katharine Brown –
Extremely light and easy to put together. Narrow and short seat – cut me of mid thigh and I have short legs. Cannot sit up on it (in permanent lean) and feels like it would tip you off easily
Ren –
Great camping chair for my wife.
