8 bought this as used and paid less. Description was as new packaging may be damaged. Packaging was like new but the aluminium dome that sits on top was dinted and out of shape. Could have sent it back but with this stay at home stuff decided not to. Managed to get the dint out with a rubber hammer. That aside heater itself is great. Quite bit bit throws out enough heat to stay out doors after the sun drops. Just what I wanted

The patio heater comes with a detailed instruction for its assembly, with it being a gas appliance, would definitely recommend that they are followed. Very easy for one person to assemble on their own.It doesn’t come with a bottle or regulator, so definitely get these. I used an 11kg flogas, which lasted quite a while and gave off plenty of heat.The patio heater itself isn’t the sturdest, when there isn’t a gas bottle in, but it wasn’t going to fall over without a really strong wind. Definitely chain it up when not in use.Great value for money.

Great heater. Gives off good heat even when not right next to it. Bit confusing to work out what size gas canister as doesn’t say it anywhere (5l worked well). Also doesn’t come with a converter which is a pain as it is a necessary part so really should come with it(although easy to order on amazon for next day)

Made the mistake of using Butane last summer as this heater can use either Butane or Propane. I was very disappointed by the heat that it gave out. Splashed out for a new regulator and Propane canister this year, and it’s much better. But I agree with others than you shouldn’t expect it to heat a big, open area.

Bought this on the strength of the good reviews, but I did notice one single review that mentioned a surprising lack of heat. As that review was vastly outnumbered I plowed ahead.Yeah, that review was right. I think my expectation was that this would perform as well as a freestanding heater, just in a different form factor. Sadly this is not the case. It is clearly designed to just take the edge off the chill of a late summer evening, and it simply cannot do anything about spring or autumn conditions like a freestanding one can. When testing it last night (early April) it was barely noticeable that it was on – and you can forget about it making any difference whatsoever in winter.I think if you’re planning to use it under any sort of shelter like a gazebo or awning then it would do the trick. It is also decidedly well built and sturdy and all the rest of it. But make no mistake, if you require ‘real’ patio heater heat, this doesn’t cut it.

It feels REALLY well made. When putting it together it all felt high quality and solid. It gives off pretty good heat too, although not as much as your typical fire pit. Having never owned a patio heater I guess I was initially a little bit disappointed but that’s probably due to my own unrealistic expectations. Overall I would still recommend this. A great addition to the garden.

Excellent. I recommend this. I used to have a full height Patio Heater which was clumsy and heavy, and would blow over on a windy night. This table top can be set-up in a few minutes, then put away when not needed. The hose will fit through the hole in a patio table, though the heater will not be quite central. I strongly recommend a brass snap-connector on the end of the heater hose, to your gas supply, or else you will be trying to push and pull the hose onto your bottle-gas regulator every time you want to use it.

Arrived on time. Top of heater bowl was damaged. As stated in other reviews. Needs more protection in box. I managed to knock out the big dent and reshape it to a fashion. I didn’t want the bother of sending back so just accepted and repaired the damage. Haven’t used in anger yet. But is very solid once assembled.

Arrived well packaged however there was a small dent in the dome, I am aware this has been mentioned before in a review so maybe time to look at more protection in this area guys. Nice looking heater easy to put together works ok at the moment. Loads of heat on low and high setting.

The heater is great, arrived without any damage and was easy to put together. One small thing to note is to check inlet pipe and hose to ensure no polystyrene beads have made there way in. Was a small piece in the inlet of mine which would have restricted the gas flow.As far as heat goes it works fine on a calm day or sheltered location. Also seems to have brought on a heatwave in the UK!

This came promptly; was well packaged and fitted together very well (apart from one missing non-essential screw that I was able to replace anyway).My local gas specialist advised propane rather than butane, for better performance in lower temperatures, so I needed a red connector.But once set up it worked perfectly. We have an enclosed veranda, but even on low it became as warm as toast in there very quickly (yes, there was an open window for essential ventilation..!!)Heartily recommended.

I love this! We were sat in the garden until nearly midnight yesterday and we were as warm as toast. The only drawback is the initial cost of the gas and cylinder but refills are much cheaper so I wouldn’t let that put you off. You do have to assemble it but it was relatively to do. Would highly recommend.

Cracking little heater and very pleasing on the eye.warp speed delivery easy to assemble with clear instructions. Can be run on both butane and propane comes with six foot of gas pipe but no regulator. Make sure when buying the regulator it does not exseed 100 psi. First class in every respect TOP DRAWER!!!!!!! A well made heater that looks really nice. It sits on the table in our arbour quite nicely. It maybe small but gives out a lot of heat. Well worth the money. Look forward to being able to sit out in the garden for longer.

Purchased a replacement for free standing heater. This is so much more convenient and easy to store. Perfect!Worth adding the quick release coupler as this means you can easily feed gas hose through parasol aperture.
