The two parts of the recliner arrived separately which initially caused a bit of confusion. However, this was quickly resolved. Chair very easy to setup. This chair is comfortable and stylish. Had experience with this model and got long service and price on a par with similar models.

Well, I’ve had this almost two weeks and while I know that £250 for a chair isn’t necessarily going to be as good as the £700 I paid for a La-z-boy Rocker Recliner before, I expected a LOT better than this.A minor point is that you can’t just ‘push’ the chair to extend it, you need to use the handle, at which point, BANG! it opens up FAST, as if it’s going to break off.More problematic, though, is that when I’m sat upright – and whether or not the footrest is extended, my bum is sat on the wood at the back of the chair because there’s a gap there! The back of the seat is down as far as it’ll go, but there’s still a seat.Also, when I’ve extended the chair and I’m relaxed into it, the seat is sinking to the right!This chair is going to have to go back, but how do I take it apart? It slots together, but there’s no way to physically disassemble it.

Looked around for manual recliner and this seemed to fit the bill. It’s not the widest seat but comfortable for me. The recline function works well and three stages of lilt are good. I knew it was fake leather but it is very smart. The price fits the unit.

Sometimes You Just Gotta Do It –
Having previously made a big mistake in buying a recliner chair, I was determined to be somewhat more cautious this time around. It paid off handsomely!This chair is as good ‘in the flesh’ as it looks in the photographs on the listing. Additionally it feels as sturdy as it looks. Certainly, it’s nice to hear a solid-sounding ‘thunk when the footrest returns into place! The leatherette is soft, warm and very comfortable. A quick wipe over with a damp cloth will keep it in peak condition.Assembly is a cinch, honestly: it took me longer to extricate the two parts of the chair from their boxes than it did to actually put them together 🙂 Seriously, if you’re able to lift the back and position it in place, you’ll be able to assemble the chair without help or hassle. The arm-rest pads simply zip on and a velcro strip helps hold them in place And that’s all there is too it (as they used to say on a certain TV show some years past…)So, that’s all the good news. It ain’t perfect though… I have two reservations (as opposed to complaints) about the chair design rather than its structure: Firstly, it does not fully recline to enable you to lay flat, which is a pity as it is so comfortable to relax in. Secondly, it is not the easiest of chairs to get out of. The well-stuffed seat cushion is a slight hindrance to anybody moderately fit and able when trying to get up and out of the chair. I see this being a massive hindrance to anyone with mobility issues, or problems with their hips/legs extricating theirself and getting into an upright position. Assistance would definitely be required in that instance.Overall, though, it looks good, it feels good and it works well. The chair is competitively priced and well-worth the money. A solid 8/10 (bearing in mind my comments above.)
