It’s just a bench, so i didn’t expect to love it, but i kinda do. 🙂 It is simple, low-tech furniture that is perfectly fit-for-purpose. It was easy to assemble, yet also high-precision (with machine-fitted metal corners and bolts), resulting in a sturdy bench, not flimsy at all. I’m a hard marker, but this item earned full marks.

Nice sturdy bench
This bench was easy to assemble and quite sturdy. The wood had a teak color stain which gave off a great amount of odor for several days. Thankfully, I got it for my garage otherwise it would have been hard to deal with inside the home. The one disappointment was that the wood wasn’t better sanded and smoothed since there were several rough edges and areas. I sanded them without removing the stain and then applied two coats of wood wax to improve the finish. Otherwise, it’s a great bench for the price.

Easy to assemble, durable
These are great for outdoor patio tables. Easy to assemble, not too heavy to move, nice looking for the price. The table is sturdy and durable. There are occasional rough edges that could make for easy splinters, and a few small areas where glue dripped and dried on the surface of the table, but I’d still purchase again if needed!

Porch bench
Like that its thin and diesnt take up much space on my front porch, using it to display pots with flowers in them but seems sturdy enough to sit on if out watching my kids play.

Super simple assembly but very small
The bench is tiny, but perfect for a small porch like ours. The assembly was super easy and it’s on our porch now!I do wish it came with a cushion. We had to buy one separately

my issues have been extensively covered in other reviews, but regardless, i’m going to repeat them:the only way this bench is worth $76 is if the wood is worth $75.50 (it isn’t). everything down to the tools provided is a miss. there were no instructions, but there are only 8 bolts and 8 holes, so that’s not really an issue: what is an issue is the short end of the short hex key that butts up against the side of the bench top when you’re trying to attach the legs so you can’t turn it 360° and have to keep pulling it out. what a pia.what is another issue is the really rough surface that should be sanded again, but then you’ll have to finish it again and we’re back to what was the $76 for exactly? though, it looks like they forgot to finish one edge of the seat, so… nm you don’t want this bench.i had 2 very distinct thoughts while assembling this $76 backless bench from amazon; the first being jeff bezos could make every adult in the united states a multi-millionaire and remain a mutli-billionaire; the second is pt barnum, there IS a sucker born every minute, and this bench was my birthday; the third was really just the first again 😑🥴the legs are wobbly and too close together to sit on this bench without butting it up against a wall or something (and leaning it back so it can’t tip forward), it’s like sitting on the top of a capitol “T”. i’m only using it as something half decent to look at that i can set tomato plants on to keep them off the ground, so i don’t care that i won’t be sitting on it, but still, $76 …the support bar under the seat that everyone else mentioned was half off, they aren’t finishing “nails” as much as straight staples, the one that wasn’t attached was actually flattened between the 2 pieces of wood it was supposed to attach, so it never made it through the bottom of the bench and was never attached by anything but dried out crusty glue. like a lot of other reviewers it just isn’t worth the hassle to return it, amazon should pay me to even try.if you have money to burn, burn that instead of getting this bench at this price. ocean state job lots has benches like this for the same price or less, and they give you a matching gift card for the price so it’s free to you… instead of jeff bezos.

I am very happy with this bench. I am a large old woman who needs a place to rest in my garden and this fits the bill perfectly.

Good looking
Looks like good quality..I am 81 year old female and I have not tightened the bolts yet. But I was in awe at the way everything was made and ease with which the parts lined up. However..my muscles are getting weak and I even had some pain after working on the floor on my knees.I’m sure for anyone else it’s a snap. Supplied allen wrench is all you need.

Perfect size, just not comfortable. Feels like sandpaper
I love the look and style of this bench. Perfect size for a small dance in my front porch. However when I sit on it, it’s obvious it was not sanded down enough. Feels like I’m sitting on sand paper. No smooth finish. Also, I’m a very low maintenance person and usually do not write negative reviews. For the price, I just expect it to be fully sanded and not halfway finished.

O/A quality
Arrived with a crossbrace broken off. I fixed it. There’s dried glue on all surfaces. I had to buff off prior to treating the wood with tung oil. The quality of finishing is very low.

great for entry way
Wanted a spot where we could stop and put ours hoes on coming in/out of the house. this bench was the perfect size, not too large and bulky or too tiny nice wood, and it looks great. Happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I wanted
I needed a bench to put on my carport to use for setting tools or whatever while I opened the door to the utility shed. But I had a small space to put one and it needed to be suitable for outdoors as it could get rained on. This fit the bill. It was very easy to put together, the holes exactly fit the screws. This bench is perfect for me to sit on while I put the shoes I wear for yard work. Seems very sturdy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a bench that doesn’t take up much space.Update: I’ve had this bench nearly a year and it still looks good after being rained on and snowed on. I did have to tighten all the screws about a month ago as they somehow had loosened. Very pleased with this purchase.

great bench for small spaces
I ordered this bench for my front porch. I always wanted to have a small bench there but wasn’t able to find one with the right dimensions. This one fits perfectly. It’s a very sturdy bench that is easily assembled. I did oil it right away though because the wood looked a bit dry to me and knowing it would be outside in the elements, I wanted to give it some protection right away. It’s a nice, warm color and looks great as is or with a cushion. I recommend this product and might get another one for the backyard.

Teak bench for front porch, just the right size
This was the first of a pair of teak benches I ordered for our small front entry porch. The 2nd bench was late, came in damaged carton several days later and with problems in fastening on legs (due to missing metal threads in several pre-drilled holes. But this 1st bench was fine and went together with only a little effort. The top is slatted for drainage because teak is a wood for outdoor use (also boats) as long as it is oiled once in awhile. Assembly was fastening on the 4 legs. Screws, etc. were included. Our front porch is about 6 feet wide and maybe 8 feet deep nook, and I place this bench on one wall out of the way of the storm door that opens outwards. I placed the 2nd bench outside the covered porch on the edge of the sidewalk leading to the door. So far, so good…a place to sit for putting on or removing shoes or for a delivered package, or for the dog leash or umbrella…or just for sitting ‘a spell’ to enjoy a chat with a neighbor. This house did not have a proper porch, so the benches are a sort of substitute. My opinion is that every home should have a front porch for a couple of chairs.

 This gets 3 stars for being fine, and because it’s the only thing available to fit a very unique space. It was easy to assemble, has a slight odor which I imagine will go away, and one side has some staining globs that don’t look that great. The big knock though is that it’s VERY wobbly. If I planned to actually sit on this or use it in any way as a bench, this would be a deal breaker. See the video. One leg is probably about 1/4 inch off the ground when the other three are grounded. That said, this is to go in a small space between a tub and a wall so I have somewhere to put wash cloths and larger soap bottles that don’t fit in the small built-in nooks in the wall. I needed something “weatherproof” to handle a little water splatter, and this should fit the bill. I had to make a shim to make it level though.
