Updated: I’ve added some stars to the rating because of the effort the seller has made to resolve the problem. I didn’t contact them, but they got in touch with me (via the Amazon system, all above board) and asked how they could put it right. Even with a full refund or a replacement, disposing of the broken unit would present me with its own problems. The company’s solution was to send me push-in mountings for the wheels and a partial refund, which works best for me. Time will tell if the fix works, but I upgraded the rating because the company made the effort to resolve the issue in a way that didn’t leave me with another problem. It’s quite a clever custom solution and I’d be confident about buying from them again because of their good customer support.Original review:I bought this unit on June 26 but it didn’t survive to July 17. Two of the wheels broke off while it was being used as a bookcase. I don’t know in which universe this shelving would pass for heavy duty, but it’s not this one.As you can see from the image, the stem castors screw into a thin plate of metal attached to the tubular uprights by two small welds, not by continuous welding around the edges, but you can’t see it’s that flimsy until it actually breaks. (Welds ringed in red.) The plates sheared off leaving jagged edges, and it did that the first time I tried to move it. The unit didn’t feel particularly stable even when stationary, though. The castors themselves seemed sturdy, but it’s pointless having heavy duty wheels if they’re not screwed into something strong enough to take them. For the price, they should have been.I can’t replace the casters with the adjustable feet because there’s nothing left to screw them into. At the moment I’ve got the thing standing on castor cups to protect the floor while I work out whether to ask for a return or just dump it. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it was easy to put up.

The shelves are supplied with both wheels and fixed feet and a spanner to install them. I have an unusual Use Case for these shelves and that is when I need to set-up my test gear, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyser, PSU, Desktop Multimeter etc, I can erect these shelves in seconds, load them with test gear and then wheel them next to the bench I am working on.Thoroughly excellent.

I bought this for extra kitchen storage (for microwave, air fryer and toaster) to keep the counters clear. Its great. There’s no assembly – it just opens up and the only choice you have to make is whether to screw in the casters or the fixed legs which are easy-easy. It looks great and is an instant solution. I had bought an assembly rack a couple of weeks earlier elsewhere which I have relegated to the garage to stack paint on as this is so much better looking! Well worth it.

I recently got rid of my old stove (which took up too much space in my kitchen) and was trying to figure out what to do. My bestie suggested I purchase a burner (which I did), but now I needed something to put it on. I found this and it works perfectly for me. I can now place the burner and the air fryer on it. I placed small pots and pans along with my rice cooker on the below shelves which helped clear counter space. I’m so glad I made this purchase.

This was easy to set up. I haven’t tried to fold it back up but that seems like a simple process as well. I’m surprised and happy with how sturdy and strong it is. Mine is currently holding two heavy slow cookers, a very large heavy pot and a bread maker as well as various smaller items and it does not move. Very solid. I think you can order with confidence.

Editing my review: The seller contacted me and is sending me some replacement wheels. Hopefully this will solve my problem. The seller was very easy to work with to suggest help for me. I’m very happy that they reached out to me to help.At first when I received this I thought it was the perfect shelf. It is a nice shelf to just leave where is. However if you try to move it around with something on it, it’s not the best thing. I find that the wheels tend to lock by themselves and won’t turn like they should. I originally bought this to bring to craft shows with me. I cannot use it to carry anything heavy at all. I can only put lightweight items. It certainly does not hold the weight that was listed in the ad. I’ll be leaving it at home from now on and not moving it.

I have been looking for this folding storage unit my entire life! It is really sturdy- I’ve got boxes of sewing and craft supplies on each shelf ( which are wide and deep enough to carry at least 5 oversized shoeboxes two high( well over 12″ high, deep, & 32″ wide – Check Specs!) 4 shelves high- it folds in half horizontally and then fan in-NO INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED!! Took 30 seconds, sturdy black painted metal- and has wheels! Will fit in your closet neatly- slides in right under hanging rack. I love this shelf. I needed something that would fit between my wall and stacked washer/drier and it worked perfectly – the measurements were precise. There was no assembly required.
