I need to sit at my desk for seemingly endless hours every day and so I do get through chairs far more frequently than most. This gives me a chance to sample different chair styles and, when I felt my previous chair was in need of replacement I began looking.I have to say it was the gray colour that attracted me to this sales page. Most office-style chairs are pretty much the same in function and I have come to prefer a fabric cover rather than leather or faux leather, far more comfortable to sit on.At the time of ordering, this chair was listed at the reduced price of £128.99, which I felt was a really good deal. Even better, there was the chance of a further £20 discount, which I accepted. Then came the wait. With the product shown as being delivered by Amazon, I had expected a reasonably fast delivery from one of their warehouses but, in this case, it was not to be. The chair was being delivered by DPD (a decent company). However, the tracking number repeatedly showed that DPD had received the order but had not received the parcel to progress further. I therefore assumed it was coming from Europe, hence the slightly longer delivery date shown on my email. Perhaps I was lucky, the box arrived exactly 7 days from my order, which was really good – although the DPD site still showed it had not received the parcel, even though DPD delivered it. I guess there was a fault there with DPD. I do wish, though, that the sales pages would show precisely where an item is located, it would give customers a better idea of delivery status – and, in my case, it arrived early in the morning without any notification, fortunately I was at home.I am definitely not marking this item down because of some mix-up with the delivery company, that would be totally unfair. My review, therefore, will focus solely on this office chair. The box contained all the items necessary – remember the accessories are housed in the back of the chair back, you need to unzip and carefully remove them. Every single item had been carefully packaged and was covered in either bubble wrap or plastic to protect it in transit. The necessary bolts, along with an allen key, were actually quite large, nothing fiddly here, and that made the entire assembly process even easier.I decided to follow the simple instructions to put the chair together, starting at point one and working through. That way I could review the manufacturer as well as the product. I have to say it was simple. I have assembled some office chairs in my time that took hours and a lot of sweat and swearing, this one took me under an hour and I deliberately went slow and steady.Order of construction was clear, fix the legs to a central circular holder, cover top and bottom with a plastic cover (remember the plastic cover appears to be an entire circle but it does come apart), then push on the castors. First impressions were pleasing. The legs are a perfect width, definitely not too large like some chairs are.I then fixed the controlling mechanism to the base of the chair and fitted it onto the legs. HINT – although the bolts are nice and chunky, they have to fit deep inside the recess of the mechanism so ensure you have lined up the holes first. Don’t tighten each bolt the full way, wait until all bolts are in place and then go around tightening them. The arms I then screwed to the back of the chair (two bolts each side) – HINT have a small torch to hand because it is extremely difficult to line up the holes in the chair with the holes in the arms (black on black). Using a torch it makes it easy. Part-screw one bolt then fix the other, then tighten (but see my note at the end of this). It is not easy to attach the back with arms to the seat – it never is! Especially because the bottom part of the arms is slanted. Using the torch again to light your way, fix one bolt and then the other, then tighten. I found it far easier to work both arms over the seat base and then lie the whole chair sideways on the floor. Turning it over to fix the bolts in the other side.I mentioned above I would add a note here. When you tighten the bolts in the arms to the chair back, there is very little play in them to stretch over the chair seat. It might be better not to fully tighten the bolts until you have also attached the arms to the seat, then go around and tighten them all with the allen key. Choice will be yours, obviously. One point I wish to make clear – on the model I received I found it very difficult to zip the back covering all the way around the second lower corner. This took a lot of careful pinching of the fabric so the zip moved by mm at a time. This is caused by the fabric being so tight around the edges of the chair back. I got there in the end but it took me 10-15 minutes of patience – and this time is included in the hour it took me to construct the whole thing. When I had the chair fully constructed and standing on its castors, I sat on it with my body resting against the back and then adjust the height of seat I wanted. All worked first time and perfect – although I didn’t change the angle of the back because I like chair backs to remain near upright, and I never lean back or rock on the chair anyway.I lifted the chair, it stayed intact, I rolled it into position, sat on it and found it really comfortable. The light grey colour is not overpowering at all in my room and the chair looks far more expensive than it actually is.What would I have liked? A little more padding on the arms and more and firmer padding on the seat. Whilst it is comfortable, like so many office chairs that padding will flatten over time. Again, I am not marking the chair down because of this since it is simply my own wish and most chairs (unless you buy huge office chairs) have little padding. All in all, using this chair now for several days and for many hours each day I have found it comfortable to sit on, the light grey colour looks perfect in my room, the chair arms are not too long and are ideal to rest elbows on (not long enough to hold an entire forearm). This chair cost me less money than almost all the other chairs I have bought in the last 10 or 15 years yet I find it superior to all of them. If I had the sense I would buy another one and keep it in storage to use when this one needs replacing.A long review, yes, but I also wanted to point out the ease of construction and offer a few hints to make it easier for future customers. The fact I wish I could have a second to keep for the future indicates just how much I like this product and I have no hesitation in recommending it – especially the grey colour.

Overall pleased with the chair. Looks good for a great price on Prime day. Assembly not easy as difficult to line up screws with holes to add arm rests. Took 2 of us DIYers to assemble with electric screw driver.I read some reviews about lack of back support after parts removed from cavity of chair back so I filled it with a soft pillow before re-zipping & assembly.

The fabric and the cushion of the seat on this chair is perfect. It’s very comfortable and soft and feels lovely to sit on. The seat is a good size as is the backrest, but there are two major downsides that resulted in me returning this chair. The first is the back is entirely hollow so when you sit on it and lean back against it for prolonged period of time it sinks into itself. There is absolutely no support or padding behind the fabric in the mid back section and over time it stretches and you end up concave. The second downside is that when you recline in this chair there is resistance. You can’t lean back without providing pressure. The chair forces you into an upright position unless you have your feet planted firmly on the floor pressing back. I often like to sit in my chair with my feet up on something and recline while I play a game and this upright forcing position is incredibly uncomfortable if you intend to use the chair and the way I do. It’s too bad because it could be a good chair if they just added a little padding to the back and allowed you to lean back properly.

I’m no DIYer but managed to put it together reasonably easily on my own. Found attaching the arms the trickiest but used a small torch to help line up the holes.Overall, a very comfortable chair. The only minor disappointment, a mistake, on my part, was I thought the back was independently adjustable, but it’s not. Although the chair does rock back if required so not a problem.

It’s good value for money and very comfortable, the plastic on the arms could be better. But where it really lacks is with the metal tripod legs. Being in parts that you assemble with bolts and not one welded part, It creeks SO much! If the legs didn’t creek it would be an easy 5*

Hubby put it together pretty fast without a power drill as shown in the video. Not quite as wide/deep/comfy as his SONGMICS Executive Office Chair (OBG22BUK) but looks more attractive and is the perfect height at its lowest setting for me, who’s 158 cm tall – can have feet flat on the floor.
Tony –
Love the product, very comfortable chair for home office. Had no problem with the assembly as the video and instructions are quite good HOWEVER the video doesn’t show how tricky it is to attach the back of the chair and line up the screw holes. Defo a 2 man job!

I found lining up the arms to screw into the back and seat wasn’t that easy. Also no user instruction i.e. How do get the tilt to work? Chair looks good and is comfortable.

I’ve had a number of computer chairs that have not been as comfortable, but this one is comfort itself. In fact I like it so much I bought one for wifey, she likes hers too.I’ll have to wait to see how long it lasts.

Despite being a good DIYer I struggled a bit to put the chair together. The arms screw into the back and seat but you need to compress the seat/back joint to line up the holes. Better instructions would help – best to fit 6 screws slightly loosely leaving the front 2 seat screws to finish. This allows you to apply leverage to allign the final screws. Once assembled the chair is robust, good looking and relatively lightweight. I find it perfectly comfortable. Happy with the purchase but have some doubts how well the fabric covering will wear.

I use the chair for my home office. It is comfortable (no backache). Supports well. Firm but comfortable. Look good. Easy to assemble.
Derek M. –
Good chair. Easy to assemble. Comfortable and solidly built. It is a good chair at a low price.
Pudge –
Wonderful! Love it! It is comfortable, with good back support and if I want to adjust it, it’s easy. Good Value for the money and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Best chair bought recently. Been unlucky with them, gone though two in 12 months first was down to the bard seat within weeks. Second one gas lift failed. This one is well made, lots of bolts, heavy weight model this,, beware needs two to assemble. Back seat may be a pain to line up, but entually will succeed. In use, best comfort seat so far, stable, nice looking, for price it stands up against others for around the same. Well worth 5he asking👍👍

Ive been wanting to review this chair for a while. Its been over a year since I bought this chair and as you can see in the pic (over a year of use), it is still in great shape. I haven’t had any issues with it. I use a cushion to support my back but that’s it. The delivery was quick, the assembly was a little tricky but I’m good at DIY so, I found my way around. I think the important thing is that for the price I think this is a great chair. I use it daily between 2 and 6 hours. I’m a 6’2″ 85kg guy, so this chair works.

My son has had this chair for about 17 months. Firstly the chair developed a ‘lean’ it sloped back and to one side. To be fair, customer service were great and sent a new chassis really quickly, which sorted the problem. Since then we’ve had a screw repeatedly falling out and then the chair tipped backwards with my Son in it (adult son, normal use, just leaning back) smashing off both arms.Again, customer service have offered to replace the arms, if we pay the postage (£10) which we’ve agreed to, but just wondering whats going to fail next on it.I’d not recommend the product, but Customer Service is first class

Good product, will see how longbit lasts.

as a chair you may be in for 5/6 hours a day it fulfils its purpose very well
Val S –
I really like these they are so comfortable. I had someone put them together for me because I wouldn’t have been able to do it

This is a very nice chair, well padded and gorgeously big “boss” chair. However, I spent half an hour or so just opening the zip to get the parts out from the back of the chair! The inside flap of the zip got caught by the zip itself and I had a hard time to untangled them! Please fix this problem, if you use better zip or give a little bit of space rather than so tight on the corner this won’t happen.
Martyna –
I really like the chair and it’s perfect for my home office. It arrived just today so I’m yet to check it over time but for now it seems very comfortable and the back of the chair is high so I will be able to rest my head during work. Putting it together was very easy with instruction provided, and took about 20min. I recommend the seller!

Purchased in April 2022 and gas cylinder has already gone. I’m tall so need seat at maximum height. I am within the advertised weight limit for the chair. Haven’t submitted review until now as wanted to see how long it lasted … 8 months….at this price point I didn’t expect it to have a very long life, but reasonable to expect at least a year. Don’t recommend at all, and especially if you’re tall.Update: Seller contacted me and offered a replacement gas lift for the chair. Now fitted and like new. Love the look of the chair and comfortable for the price point. Changed review from 1* to 4* to reflect the fabulous proactive customer service and the 6 months of comfort I did have and will continue to now have with this chair.

I thought the legs and arms were missing when they are in fact inside the back of the chair.Easy to put up, actually surprised at the quality of chair and components. Very pleased
Glyn bob –
I purchased this chair for my craft room so it isn’t used all day or every day. However I have found it extremely comfortable when sitting at my desk. It’s a great looking chair good quality and the upholstery is luxurious and comparable to a chair or sofa you would have in your living room. It was very quick and easy to put together. Really pleased with it so far and well worth the money.
Helen –
Excellent service, great quality and simple to put together. Look great too.
Dorota Perkins –
Absolutely marvellous! Very comfortable, high quality fabric, very sturdy, quality item!
Simone –
I really like this chair, mainly because I’ve suffered from sciatica for years and had a chipped coccyx bone in the past which still niggles and its been much better for my back than my old chair.I have a job where I have to sit at a desk for 9-10 hours a day so I’ve really tried and tested it, it’s comfy on the butt and back… but the padding in the arm rests could do with some improvements as I find my elbows can get quite sore after a couple of hours, as I rest them on the arms when using my mouse. This is a minor set back as I’ve just been sticking a cushion on the arm to aid this, although I think it would be 5 star with an update to the arms. This chair cost me £99.99, as a £20.00 voucher was offered at checkout so I think for what it is, it’s a great price as the same style office chairs on official sites can set you back over £170.00.Assembly was easy, there’s a QR code so that you can Watch a video of it being assembled along with picture books in an ikea style to put it together. No tools needed as it’s Allen key and they provide this in packaging. The pleather has a nice feel to it and it looks great, very smart. It has a rocking feature and height adjustment, you can’t fix in place the rocking though but this isn’t a problem for me personally, as it quite sturdy and you’d have to throw yourself back if you want it to rock to be honest. In summary:POSITIVES – Looks very ‘swanky’, comfortable for lower and upper back, great for keeping comfort for long hours and affordableNEGATIVES – Doesn’t have a ‘rocking’ lever to fix in place and the free rocking feature is quite stiff, meaning you may have to physically push the chair back with your back. Arm pads are quite thin and hard so could use improvement

Bought for my Daughter for her office work ….She finds it really comfortable

Like the fabric especially the fabric on the arm rests
Arnold –
The delivery was really fast, the chair is really comfortable I’m really happy about this purchase 👍 good job
Paul –
It looks good and is relatively comfy. It is not exceptional, but then at this price it ought not to be. Happy overall with this chair.

Very pleased with purchase, easy to assemble and very supporting for posture. Very comfy!

Love this chair! I was searching for a while for what I wanted and looked on other sites, but this fit what I needed and was the best price too (used a voucher for £10 off). I assembled it in hardly any time at all by myself and wasn’t too fiddly apart from attaching the arms to the back. I’d recommend lying the back piece down and putting the base on its side to help get each screw started and in the right place. Really comfy and looks nice in my room!
Muzikat –
Although this is undoubtedly the best computer desk chair I have ever owned, it’s not quite perfect. It was, however, easy to assemble and started out incredibly comfortable but, after only a couple of weeks use, the seat pad has compressed so that I can feel the hard seat base when I sit down. Undeterred, I purchased a square box cushion from Amazon which has remedied the problem – but at an additional cost of £18.
Kieran Carville –
Easy built and very comfortable
Margaret Walker & victor –
It took a while to assemble, mainly because there was fabric in the holes where the screws had to go, but once assembled, this chair is very supportive and comfortable. I work at my desk most of the day and I’m very happy with this chair.
M. Cooper –
I would recommend this chair happily however, not for tall people or those wide in the seat. It’s a petite chair with petite arm rests and i think a larger taller person would struggle with this.An all round comfortable office chair but not for gaming. Easy to put together and good for the price.

Amazon did a SHODDY JOB of sending me a damaged chair with creased leather on the back rest and a HUGE DENT in the seat as illustrated in the photographs. The leather is cheap & tacky and as you can see from the photographs, it creases, which means that in a few weeks/months, the chair will look old and worn-out!!They also packaged the tilt knob facing the seat, so I now have a HUGE DENT in the seat, which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!I’m now stuck with a DAMAGED CHAIR instead of a nice NEW CHAIR!!!!!The tilt knob does not work so I also now have a chair that DOES NOT TILT!!!After removing all the assembly parts, the back of the chair is hollow and since the leather is EXTREMELY THIN AND CHEAP, it is prone to damage.Because it is a LARGE ITEM, it would be too inconvenient to return it, and I’ll also be WITHOUT A CHAIR for my computer. It also does not rise high enough so I now have to use a cushion, to elevate myself to the right height for my computer.ALL IN ALL, A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!Please DO NOT buy this product, if you are looking for a good quality chair for your home/office, as you will be VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!My old chair was strong and sturdy and I had it for FIFTEEN YEARS……….. I can’t see this chair lasting even FIFTEEN MONTHS!!!NOT ACCEPTABLE AMAZON!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISHEARTENED!!!!

Needed a more supportive office chair but still ensuring it looks part of the room decor and not a huge lump of chair! This is a nice soft grey, well padded seat and back with arm rests. I managed to put this together by myself, but follow the easy picture instructions!
David Percy –
Absolutely love this chair. It’s extremely comfortable and the grey fabric looks great in my home office. Swivels, moves and tilts back with ease. So simple to put together too. Highly recommended.
Alan –
Complete in Box ready for self-assembly. Well engineered plain chair with no tilt mechanism. Excellent
Joe –
Very easy to put together and decently stable. It supports be better than any other chair I’ve had so far. It’s good for the price anyway.
jogonewild –
It looks the biz. Easy to assemble, delivery on time.Fairly comfortable but I do feel fidgety on it. Sort of feels it’s tilting toward a bit so have to keep pushing self back.I bought it mainly for lumber support but once you’ve taken all the bits out the back, it remains hollow, giving no real support to back. The worst bit for me is the wheels. I have laminate floor so should run smoothly across floor but it doesn’t. Feels like it’s on carpet but it’s not. Very hard to move from desk to desk.I think for the price, it let itself down a lot. It’s all fur coat and no knickers.I only kept it as my gas cylinder on other chair stopped staying up. At least this one does that.
Hamid –
I just assembled my chair, it took 90 mins and just sat on it, it’s realy comfortable. I don’t know about durability of sponges but right now….I’m so happy with my purchase and I recommend it to those who ate looking for a comfortable, good looking and value for the price office chair.Mine is fabric and is so comfortable.I lovin it👌❤👌❤👌
Steve James –
So far the worse large item I’ve ever bought from Amazon. The plastic trim buttons shoot off on a daily basis and to sit on it is to experience a cross between motion sickness and a ghost train ride; you never know in which direction it’s going to tilt and fear that maybe the floor is your final destination. And it’s impossible to assemble solo.
vaishali –
The screws had difficulty going into the holes. It seemed that the holes were drilled at an angle. Or they were the wrong size. I think there were some screws missing also. Overall nice chair
Derek J Young –
The delivery was great as always. The chair was easy to assemble with simple pictorial instructions. The chair seat is OK but a little uncomfortable after a while due a slight hump in middle but I’m sure it will mood to my shape.
