All good, nice and warm (although if it’s dark and cold in the garden you need to have realistic expectations!)… would be nice to have a longer power lead…
Amanda Eynon –
It gets nice and hot quickly. I feel the cold easily and needed something substantial to make me warm enough to sit outside when it’s not hot and sunny. We used it for the first time and I certainly wasn’t disappointed and haven’t been since. I was actually a bit too warm at one point! Not complaining. It was chilly and normally I wouldn’t have been able to stay out for long but we sat out for hours. When my friend found out that we’d been sat out on this particular night for the length of time we did, she actually commented that must be a powerful heater you’ve got. You can turn it down with the remote control, the remote has to be facing the panel at the bottom of the heater in order to work, but it does the job. It isn’t the cheapest, but it certainly does the job you buy it for.

I have a wooden outbuilding from which I work (massage, yoga & other treatments)I decided to invest in this heater to see if if would be more cost effective to use than my panel heaters. (Yet to realise this). What I can say is that it’s a powerful instant heat, that warms whole area (roughly 10mx4m). The space gets hotter the longer I have it on, so I move it further away from my treatment area. It’s a nicer heat to work in & I’ve only used it on its 1st heat setting, can’t imagine how hot 5 would be!It will see me thru cold winters, but as weather warms, it’ll be too hot me me to use. Would be great if I could turn it down once it reaches optimal heat….really hoping it’s not going to be astronomical, sometimes it’s on for 10+ hours…Really happy so far…

Bought this for a party in the garden, but as it’s getting colder, (but not cold enough to put the full heating on), we use it to take the chill off I’m in the evenings.
Anil –
Worked straight of the box and heat output was excellent. It’s got an elegant, decorative look and light to move around whenever needed.Does not cost a fortune to run with instant heat. It works well both in my conservatory and outside. The remote control is a great extra for comfort. I am very pleased!

Very powerful, great coverage and looks good!
Wares –
Conducted research and thought this was the right product. However we sat approximately 1 metre from the heater on full power and we could feel a warm heat but it was not sufficient. Perhaps indoors would be ok but outdoors was terrible. It was certainly not fit for purpose. Avoid.

This is a really good patio heater, the infra red element works efficiently to give direct heat where needed, very effective. Has a handy remote control with limited settings to save you getting up.The build is quite neat, standing approx 1 meter tall, the downside is the power cable which requires mains connection so outdoor use is not great and will most likely need an extension cable. I also ordered the version without the cover, that was all that was available but to be honest, i felt they should all just come with a cover as standard.A bit pricey at £259.99 (at the time of review), for me this is used occasionally so not sure i’d get the best value from it despite the cost. It’s a nice to have item, works well.

Having just had our garden pattern imprinted and all done we enjoy sitting out in the evening having a nice cold glass of something fizzy and with us being in the UK the weather is not always great and can get cooler in the evening.Me myself don’t mind it a little cool but my partner acts like she’s sat in the north pole with a bikini on 😂😂 so when I saw this I thought let’s give it a try and see.I can now say she will happily sit out in the evenings next to this tower heater and she’s nice a cosy warm 🥵. Even on number 1 setting ( the lowest) if this is near you then you soon feel the heat. The highest heat setting is very toasty warm and if sat to close you find that it can get to warm so my recommendation is to place a little further away at the highest heat output and is more perfect for heating a larger area.As for electricity usage on our supplier and tariff it doesn’t seem to be power hungry and didn’t use all that much over a few hours period which is essential with at the moment with the energy prices sky rocketing 😖The device itself seems well made and is very sturdy on its plastic stand and was really easy to assemble as all you have to do is attach the two parts of the stand to the tower. The remote works well and is a nice added feature as it saves you having to get up to adjust the temperature. At £259 at the time of this review you may seem is quite expensive but in my opinion I would say for what you get it’s a good fair price and lots of family and friends have commented on how good it is.Overall very pleased and highly recommended 👍

A good sized, free-standing, tower style electric patio heater. It gets very hot quickly and has made a big difference to our patio area in that we’re much more comfortable staying outside later in the evening. It’s very easy to use and has a remote control so you don’t even have to get up to turn it up or down. Not sure how much longer we can afford to use it, but it does take the edge off a chilly evening.

This heater assembled very easily. The instructions are not the clearest, but they give you the right information if you read them a few times. The only thing that’s important is that you need to thread the cable through the base BEFORE you clip the two halves together. It isn’t too bad.The heater looks good, it looks very nice and sturdy on its floor base. The remote control can fit in a little slot right at the top of the unit. You have five levels of heat, these seem very respectable with the higest being very warm.My two niggles were:Firstly, the power lead is quite short. Considering that this an outdoor heater, they could have been more generous in the power chord. It’s a niggle, I can always use an extension lead, but at £300, why should i?The other thing is the remote control. It looks nice, but I couldn’t use it to turn the heater on or off. I had to resort to pressing the power button on the front. The control signal seems VERY weak, especially considering this is an outdoor item. In the end I managed to set the power by holding the remote very close to the sensor plate. (But I haven’t yet got it to switch on or off using the remote). It might just be the batteries, but the remote feels cheap and not well made.So it does it’s job. Given the price point, this seems rather high considering it’s not perfect and has a couple of minor niggles.

The build quality doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would expect from this price point; it’s quite a “plasticky” unit. But it does have extremely good heat output and is surprisingly efficient on how much power it draws from the mains. The height is about perfect to be used for a seated function.

This high-end electric patio heater branded by OPRANIC has a stylish design that will provide you with extra heat when you are outside chilling in your garden. The 2KW Electric Patio Heater converts up to 96% of power directly to heat! It is developed and manufactured with high-end technology personally to ensure technological advantages and the lowest energy bill for you. It has 5 power levels for indoor and outdoor use that you can choose, 1200 and 2000 watts depending on your needs. The standing patio heater is IP34 certified and therefore perfectly suitable for any weather conditions. It can last for up to 10.000 operating hours and has a 2-year guarantee. It has an automatic tilt switch that turns off the power if it falls and it is water-resistant for outdoor use. This heater can be used anywhere you need extra heat, whether it’s in an indoor environment like a garage, basement or outside on the terrace, you can safely use this infrared heater. It comes with a UK plug and is recommended to avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. With the nice weather coming back but it still feeling quite cold in the evenings, my wife and I thought we would give this a try and we are not disappointed. The heater provides a nice amount of heat to keep our family warm enough when outside in the evening having our tea. It is minimalistic and looks good on our patio.Included with the heater is a remote control and a manual.Overall, this is a bit pricey but works well and is reasonably priced compared to similar looking patio heaters.

Sometimes, on a really hot day, it’s nice to sit out in the garden when it starts to cool down a bit in the late afternoon. The trouble is, if you stay out too long it can get a bit chilly. Good old British weather! Having an outdoor heater can just help to keep the chill off. This patio heater arrives in a long retail box. Before it can be used you have to assemble the base. It comes in two halves that have to be clipped together. The clips are far too tight, and I managed to cut my finger trying to force it. Then, when I was successful, I suddenly realised that you have to pass the mains lead through before clipping them together! Still, it’s a job you only have to do once. This heater is powered by mains electricity rather than with LPG gas. Gas is probably a bit cheaper to use but nowhere near as convenient. Gas would only be sensible if you plan to use the heater more than a couple of times a week. What I like about this heater is that it comes with a remote control. You can simply select one of five heat levels or turn the unit on or off from the comfort of your deckchair. There is a little digital display on the front bottom of the unit which shows the current heat level. The heat radiates well, and you can feel the heat from quite a distance away. You don’t have to sit right next to it unless it’s snowing.I was disappointed to see there is no cover supplied with it. I wouldn’t suggest leaving this heater out in the rain even if it switched off. Personally, I would keep it in the house or shed unless you have a covered area in your garden.Overall, pricey but otherwise excellent patio heater. I hope that helps.
Pros and Cons –
This is very easy to setup Infrared Heater, and comes with a 2 Metre long cable. There was no cover supplied with the model I tested, as expected. Beware using extension cables, but if you do these need to be rated to 16 Amp for example 2.5mm.Once plugged in, the heater heats up very quickly and provides a really decent amount of heat ranging from 1.2kW to 2kW over 5 levels. It also comes with a handy remote control.I see people reviewing saying it heats up the area well and such which is completely against physics. Infrared cannot heat air but rather the waves affect objects that it comes into contact with. If you put your hand in front of it, it will feel hot but the air temperature will only increase as a result of your increased body temperature. I’m an Engineer.I do think £259 is overpriced even though it’s a well built unit. I think £200 or less is competitive to others out there.

A good heater, with a good heat output that you can feel. Although I feel like it could be better for the price-A very good outdoor heater that will warm you up nicely outside. It is a good size and the area that emits the heat is a lot larger than some others available. The only criticism I have is that this is completely plastic and the base is a bit rubbish in my opinion-The box this arrives in is great and I was hoping to use it to store this patio heater in. Annoyingly the base arrives in 2 halves which is easy to clip together but extremely difficult to separate again. This means you can’t separate the base into 2 halves again to store it in the box it arrives in. For a whopping £260 it’s disappointing this doesn’t come with a storage case or a cover (the official cover is an extra £20). Additionally, the base is fully plastic so I’m worried about someone standing on it and breaking it. It’s pretty strong but is plastic so a slight worry-I rate this 3 stars which is still a positive. But for a heater that is 99% plastic this price seems a lot and it’s disappointing a case isn’t included by default for this high price. Regardless of this, it’s still a great heater

If you want a patio heater, this seems to be a quality product. It works very well, is remarkably quick to heat up and chucks out lots of heat. Not that I can claim to have thoroughly tested it, in March.I think I’d rather have this than a gas heater, even if only because there’s no need to lug a gas bottle about and exchange it for a full one when empty. On the other hand, a high-level gas heater probably heats a wider area, does away with the power cord, and keeps the heat source out of possible contact with people. It’s quick to heat up and of course the remote control is useful. It’s quite stable for something so tall, and switches off if toppled. Needless to say, it gets very hot, so I’m not sure I’d use it where young children are running around. The cable is only about 2m long, so you’ll probably need a hefty extension lead trailing to a socket somewhere – a further hazard with children. Then there’s the environment to consider. I strongly disapprove of patio heaters and wouldn’t buy one to heat fresh air. If we’re cold, sitting outside, we move inside. I won’t downrate it for that, however, because others may feel differently.Overall, this is a good patio heater, if you really want one. Still, between the need for a trailing power cord, the risk of touching it or even knocking it over, and a £259 price tag, I’m going to be mean and award just three stars.

This heater is smart, sleek and lightweight and really kicks out a whole lot of heat really quickly. It has 5 heat levels to choose from and I put it on 3 which was plenty enough as a trial run. The brighter the heat element glows the hotter it gets obviously! As it’s a good size it heats large areas nice and fast. It also seems to cool down relatively quickly too.Assembly was simple, but the base doesn’t seem to click perfectly into place. I think the base in general lets it down as it feels really cheap compared to the rest of it.The design otherwise is great and it even has a little remote holder which appears to stay cool, so you can rest the remote in there to keep it safe and easily accessible. The current price of almost £260 does seem expensive for what it is. Most heaters I can find that are similar are approximately half the price, but don’t appear to have such a large heating element. I hope the price will perhaps show in the longevity of the item. The running costs also appear to be the reason for why this is more expensive, you seem to pay more initially to pay less on your bills.Certainly a nice looking item that does its job well!
CatLady –
This patio heater is quite powerful, it works great in outdoor. Tested on a windy day, I could feel the heat about 1m away, the width of the heat angle fan out to over 90 degree. I am sure if this is used in non-windy or sheltered patio it can do 2 -3 m range. The heater comes with a remote, simply with on/off and level 1-5 heat setting. There is a display panel on the heater with the same control buttons. The heater is quite light but fairly sturdy standing on the base. What really annoyed me was the protective film was not stuck on neatly on the display panel, so I tried taking it off hoping it is just like any other protective films that will come off cleanly, but I was wrong. All the glue residual stuck on the panel, had to use oil to clean it, now I am thinking may be I should have just left it in, but it was an eye sore with the protective film not lining up with the panel.Overall, performance wise not much to say about, it is an excellent heater that warms up in seconds. Price-wise this is very expensive for a simple heater, in my opinion, if I had to guess I would say less than £150 but this is selling at £259 without a cover, I am not sure it worth that much.

Halogen heater is very useful and is very powerful its easy to operate and easily heats where it is directed. It is 2KW so is very effective in cold weather .
Lipsquid –
This heater came securely packaged and was easy to assemble. The controls are really straightforward to use and once turned on it heated up quickly.I mainly intend to use this to heat up my small garage and it seems more than up to the task. The only reason I’ve not given this product five stars is the price – it’s a lot more expensive than other patio heaters and it doesn’t seem “premium” enough to justify this.

This is the first electric outdoor heater I have had as I am used to a wood burner but its not always practical to use a wood burner with the time to get to a steady heat, smoke and having logs available. This electric heater can be used day or night and is HOT within less than a minute. The set up was fairly easy, but I did find fitting the base plate a little fiddly as I would fit one side and the other side wouldn’t lien up and this went on for a few minutes but once it was I could screw it all together and its nice and stable.Having a dog and young child I wouldn’t want it to be easy to topple so being nice and sturdy is great, but if it should tip over it will turn off automatically. The heat generated is nearly instant and can easily be turned up or down to suit your needs, we have had it close by so not on full power then in a larger group its been on full and we have been impressed with how wide the heat source covers. Keeps everyone happy :-)The overall build quality seems very high, the metal body is strong and feels it will last a long time, and the claimed “10.000 operating hours and 2 years guarantee” is reassuring. The controller is simple to use but allows you to sit all snuggled up and enjoy the heater and a glass of something nice in the evening without having to get up and down to change the settings, no adding a log or worrying about smoke.Very happy with this heater and we plan to make good use of it.
👑PRODUCT KING👑 –
OPRANIC 2KW Electric Patio Heater. This is a pretty good looking Electric Heater and it has really good heat output but the overall build quality isn’t all that great. Its very easy to use and the base is quick and easy to assemble but because the base comes in two pieces you get a line or split right down the middle which makes it look cheap also the remote could be better as looks quite cheap and generic and for nearly £300 I expect much better. Also the on/off and temperature buttons on the unit itself are really flimsy and i dont expect them to last all that long.Item does however come very well packaged with plenty of foam.

I’ve been wanting to try an infrared heater for a very long time as they are supposed to be cheaper. After using this heater I can confirm along with my smart metre that they are in fact cheaper than heating by more conventional means. The heat comes out straight away and there is little waiting for the room to get warm. That’s because the heat is transferred by radiation and not convection. It feels like standing in the sun on a warm summer’s day. Set up is easy. Just take it out of the box and plug it in. The remote works well and is is intuitive. An excellent heater perfect for conservatories and summer rooms.
ButterflyChimes –
Excellent patio heater, much preferable with the built in stand. Heat output is brilliant. Ideal for cool evenings in the garden with friends
Chapel’s Dad –
This is a very good patio heater, it is very easy to set up and to operate. The remote control is handy, you can control things without getting up. It heats up very quickly and the changes between heat setting are very quick too. There are 5 heat settings, you can feel the difference as you switch through them – the unit itself is very light in weight and looks to be very well made.I’ve used this outside and in my sunroom which can be quite chilly first thing in the morning. For me the only drawback from using this outside is that the power lead is quite short, this means that extension cables will be needed – or conveniently positioned outside powerpoint. This is a very effective heating unit and one that I can happily recommend.

This patio heater by Opranic is available in black or white, with or without a cover. I received the heater in black without a cover, which is currently priced at £259.00The heater comes securely packaged in a branded box, there is a small amount of assembly required, but this is quick and easy to do. The heater also has a remote control which has batteries included. You can also control the heat by pressing the buttons on the front of the panel. Included with the heater is a small instruction bookletThe heater has 5 heat settings between 1200 and 2000 watts and it heats up really quickly. This heater can be used indoors, in a garage, conservatory, outside on the patio, in fact anywhere near a power sourceI’ll be using this heater outdoors once the weather gets better. To keep the chill off on summer evenings. I’m really happy with how well it works and have no hesitation in recommending it

This is such a stylish heater – it looks fantastic in the garden and has already been such a great investment. Being able to sit longer in the garden on an evening with this heater has been really nice; it was easy to assemble and ready to use within ten minutes. The heating element warms up really quickly and powers out quite a distance too so you dont need to be dangerously close to feel the benefit – i like that it is remote controlled and its very easy to use, there is even a small space on the top to store the remote however do not place the remote here while the heater is on! It stands firmly with a large base but needs to be placed on solid ground. It is one of the most stylish garden heaters i have seen, and I’m very impressed with the quality.
Kelsie A H –
This outdoor heater is wonderful! It’s very lightweight, so easy to carry and move around. It was very easy to assemble the base and once it is up it is very strong and sturdy. The plug has a pretty good length in my opinion, I could comfortable reach my outdoor seating area without the need for an extension which was nice. The heat of this thing is amazing! It took less than a minute to warm up! I had it on number 4, it has 5 heat settings which you can change via remote control or with the buttons on the front of the machine. The heat kept me and my husband so warm during a cold March night, just sitting under the stars with a cup of tea. This is going to be used a lot in my house! I love it ❤
Cardiff –
The heating is quick and easy to control, and the quality is excellent.Much better than black plastic heaters. Powerful instant heat with variable settings. It looks really stylish.
Bonnie –
This arrived well packaged, and is huge, so much bigger than I thought!!It is neatly boxed and well protected during transportation. Its available in black or white. Its aimed for patios and outdoor areas, it can be used inside but its very big, so not suitable for inside a lot of rooms. It heats instantly so not like an oil radiator that takes a while to heat up.It claims to work well for up to 10000 hours and comes with a 2 year guarantee which is really good, so if this is what you are looking for, you have nothing to lose with this purchase. They offer a really good customer service experience, so 5 stars.
Catita –
Sometimes i have a little anxiety with patio heaters as they can be problematic with overheating, Or possible fire issues. This one seems to be quite stable, And so far has worked well without any issues with overheating or fire hazards. The heater itself is sturdy and throws out a good amount of heat, Enough to keep my family warm on the patio without energy wastage. I could not find any negatives, As everything works as it should, And it functions well.So far this has proven to be a reliable heater, So i will consider buy another one in the future when we expand our patio area into the garden.
Mrs. A. Wright –
We are thrilled with this heater It comes with instructions and remote control. Its slim clean lines gives it an elegant look not normal in these heaters, MY husband is elderly and feels the cold badly, He so loves to potter and pretend he works in our large garage/ work room but des not get to stay too long as he gets too cold. This heater is ideal. It has 5 levels of heat from 1200 to 2000 watts and keeps him quite warm while he potters around. Very easy to operate and has a 2 metre cord. Like it very much
Dan –
I really like this patio heater. It was really simple and easy to set up the base and it requires a Phillips screwdriver. It gets hot and warms us up quickly and I love the fact it has a remote which means you can control it from distance. Amazing product!
Hannah –
This is an excellent outdoor heater which is really powerful, it gives off a lot of heat. There’s heating settings to adjust to the heat that is most comfortable to you. It’s really well made also and feels sturdy. It has instructions to get you started and a remote control.I’m using it for reading in the back garden at night, so it’s perfect for such things as that.I consider it worth the price tag.
Shopaholic –
For INDOOR & OUTDOOR use. The heater looks and feels well made. The casing is a solid metal material. The heater gives you a warm, soothing light. Note: it is infrared, which means it’s more heating your body directly than the surrounding air, but I wanted an infrared heater for this reason. This Heater is easy to carry, heats up quickly, I tested it indoors and outdoors and it work amazingly.Really recommend this heater.
Karoliina –
I really like the easy assembly, the weight which means it’s easy to move where you would like it, and it heats up quickly. Highly recommended.
