The fabric of this lamp is similar to the two I already have in my office but it feels a lot cheaper than them both. The two I already have both have a USB hub built in to them and feel better quality. The kicker was they were cheaper than this lamp a couple of years back now and the price of this one delivered should really be no more than maybe £15, if that. If you’re looking for something stylish then i’d say i’m on the fence with this one though leaning more towards a bit cheap and cheerful to look at and to hold.

I bought the lamp for £25, not exactly breaking the bank but nor the cheapest lamp you can buy. I do like the style, it fits our room nicely, but I agree with the reviews saying that up close it feels a bit cheaply made. My biggest gripe is the cord, it seems very thick and its an ugly transparent plastic – in the product photos it’s kind of hidden but obviously the switch is on the cord so you have to have it somewhere accessible. It would look better with a regular black or white cord.

I love this lamp so much, it completely changes the vibe of my room. I recommend getting it with a warm white light bulb (the bulb doesn’t come with it so you have to order it yourself) Overall amazing, if your looking for an aesthetic lamp this is for you.

Update: After review the seller contacted me and offered a partial refund which is professional from them, and most importantly which probably means that yes the item I received was faulty but that others should have better luck. If you receive something you don’t find is good enough quality just sent it back or ask for partial refund if you managed to fix it yourself.Original review:Very quick and easy to assemble (when no fixing needed), not sure if it’s worth the price though. I’m sure some have received items that are perfectly fine in that case it would, but many reviews indicate that quite a lot are poorly finished.On mine the issue was the main screw hole (holding the lampshade) which had not been done straight, which meant the whole lamp did not looked levelled at all. Had to add bits (see pic) so it would make it look straight. Not hard to do but you don’t expect to “fix” something brand new.. could have sent it back but too impatient and too lazy, so fixed it and it’s fine. Wood isn’t great either you can see it’s chipped/scratched in places. But overall the lamp looks fine.

It does what it sets out to do. It doesn’t have any dimming or anything like that, it has an on and an off switch on the wire, and that’s it. Nice and simple. I didn’t want a touch one, that dims with each touch. I just wanted one that was simple, and I could plug into a smart home plug to control via my google home.And this works perfectly. Needs a weird screw type bulb, but I found one in sainsburys easy enough.It’s built well, feels solid and like it will last.

Great as a bedside lamp, spreads the light nicely and good for reading.(yes this is a repeat of the headline – Amazon has demanded an entry in this section!)So I’ll waffle on : the base is quite compact (but big enough for reasonable stability).This helps on a beside cabinet as there is also space for a radio, alarm clock and reading glasses.Heck, even a bottle of water.

This is a lovely lamp and I bought a colour changing bulb for it which works brilliantly. The tripod stand is great as it doesn’t take up too much room on my bedside table and smaller items fit underneath it as I do have a cluttered bedside table. The only reason this isn’t a five star review is because it is pricey for what it is but I needed a lamp quickly and I really liked the look of this one so just went with it.

Its badly made. The plastic neck of our lamp leans to one side and cannot be rectified. Couldnt be bothered to send it back. But you can find this lamp cheaper in Wilcos. So dont bother with this one

I like the fact it is the perfect size for where it’s needed. The tripod legs are sturdy and well made. The shade would be perfect apart from the very noticeable seam and glue on display which isn’t good at all. Unfortunately this product (considering its size and the poor quality of the shade) is most definitely not worth the price. It should be around 14.99 tops! I would send it back but can’t be bothered with the hassle. Do not purchase the recommended bulbs either as 60w is way to bright. For for a 40w bulb. It’s a shame it’s so pricey and the shade is below par others nice little bedside table

It looks good in the photos, but in real life it’s very poorly made. Way too much glue was used to assemble it without wiping away the excess.The wood is not varnished or sanded and has dents and scratches.The feet have no pads so the legs will scratch your wooden table etc.The shade mounting hole is far too big for the lamp holder so it slops around.The lamp holder bezel is not threaded correctly so the shade cannot be secured tight. If you try to tighten it, the lamp holder will shatter as the plastic is very brittle. Borderline dangerous.If you’re placing it on a shelf uo high and out of the way with a smart plug so it will never be touched or moved in any way, then it will be OK (this was my use case), but for a high use area like a bedside table, forget it. Totally unsuitable.This was my 2nd lamp. 1st one delivered fell apart after assembly as the lamp holder shattered.Its worth about 10 quid. Not 26 quid.
