PLUMS –
We purchased this is 2021 and after each summer it is stored in the garage covered. Today we got it out sat on it and material ripped. I have since seen other reviews also stating this. Poor quality product

Lovely item however the box was in bits all ripped & the delivery man dropped it coming through the gate he wasn’t helpful at all he also despite the sticker saying sign as damaged if damaged told me not to sign as damaged & to email (all of which is on my cctv if you wish to see maybe you should use another courier service) so now ive got a lovely good quality swing with a scuff mark on the seat

The design I feel is far superior to others on the market, also slightly better price too, everything functions as it should, it would be nice to have a foot rest, but that might be more difficult to design than I would know. We did have a little trouble assembling it, one hole didn’t line up, but all the rest went well. To move about you can take the seat off and it’s easy in two parts.

A comfortable and good looking swing seat. Neither of us are light weight but swing is more than robust enough.One of the side arms had rough texture to the paintwork. We requested a replacement which was delivered in a couple of days…..they couldn’t do enough for us. We have placed a bench seat cushion under the seat cushions but only because we wanted more cushioning. Visitors all found it comfy as it was. Must start that diet!!! Cannot recommend this enough.

Delighted with this swing seat. Very comfortable, Love the color, more fawn than cream but I like that. Very easy to assemble. Not been rained on so far but material feels very weather proof and good quality. Arrived earlier than expected. Only criticism is that there were 2 nuts missing and had to go out and buy before could finish putting it together so would have given 4 and half stars because of that but couldn’t. It cost £50 less than in other well known store. Looks great on the patio and good to use. Was in 2 minds about buying it as bit hard up but so glad I did.

I love this. Highly recommend it. Easy to put together by one person tho might be easier when it comes to hooking the seat on to have an extra pair of hands. Either that or rest the seat on something high. For the person asking about what is under the seat pads, it is thick sturdy canvas type material and provides good support. Excellent value for money.

This is brilliant, I also bought the canopy with it the canopy is poor quality. Just buy the swing and get a cover elsewhere.

The delivery was very quick. It was easy to fit together, seems good quality and strong, and is comfortable. Could do with some sort of drain for the canopy, like an eyelet, as water collects after rain, and has to be tipped off. A minor problem for an otherwise excellent product.

We bought this for my wife’s grandparents. The seat split after one season and we contacted Charles Bentley to seek a replacement. To say that CB weren’t interested in helping is an understatement. In essence, “this is shipped in from China, so we cant be bothered to get replacement parts”. So our swing is now useless, and Charles Bentley are not in the least bit interested in helping. I’d strongly advise against buying this organisation’s products.

Very impressed with the quality of service and the swing chair. It comes in 2 large boxes. We received only one box and I emailed the company. They replied almost immediately and said the second box would arrive the next day, which it did. All of the parts are labelled with a letter that corresponds to the diagram. The instructions are easy to follow. My husband and I put it together in less than an hour. The nuts and bolts come in a rather nice red cloth pull string bag. The chair looks and feels sturdy and comfortable. We are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend it.
