Cheap for a reason
There are many carts on the market that look identical but on closer examination have differences that might be important to you. I live on a narrowboat and bought the cart to haul my 20 litre water bottle, rubbish bags, toilet cassettes and other heavy items the 400 metres along a bumpy tow-path to my mooring. My first issue was that it would tip over when attempting any kind of side-slope. Secondly, despite liberal application of dewatering fluid along the seams around the sides and load-bed, rust began to colonise those areas and all the split pins and washers after its first night outside. Thirdly the handle proved around an inch too short to make for a comfortable pulling angle when loaded and fourthly the ‘R-clips’ holding the bed-sides on would drop out over bumps. Finally I noticed that the rear axle was putting a sideways bending force into the mounting plates, leading to them move out of alignment.In an attempt to tackle some of these issues, I found steel tube with the correct inside diameter to fit over the axles and then cut-and welded them to widen the track. I redrilled the mounting holes in the handle outward to effectively lengthen it and also moved the wheel split-pin mounting holes to take up much of the slack and rattle in those. I plan to brace-up the rear axle mounts diagonally in much the same way as was originally fitted on my neighbours similar cart from new. There isn’t much I can do with the rusting issues short of replacing washers and pins with stainless equivalents.Overall this cart offers reasonable value for money and might be adequate for light gardening on level smooth surfaces but not for anything heavier.Read full review…

Useful for the older gardener
Quite easy to put together. Very easy to use on flat ground, but with a narrow wheelbase, it is fairly unstable on uneven ground.

Gardening Has Just Got Easier
What an amazing trolley. Far better than a wheel barrow. Its sturdy and drains so there will be not serious rust problems. Also, it’s not ‘lift and push’ anymore, its just ‘pull’ which takes the strain off my back. I recommend this item.

Very weak and as for it carrying 200 kilos I think it would struggle with 20 kilos already showing rust at 3 weeks old
