PROS:Good looking side table – modern design, with stacking feature if purchasing more than one. Grey version is a lovely light neutral shade of grey – nice wood effect also.All parts present (screws and grommets all had 1 extra spare).No scratches on finishes (however a couple had rough edging).Well packaged.CONS:Jeez! Definitely use 2 people to put together.Make sure you screw the metal peg -type screws in absolutely vertical otherwise they will not fit the grommets properly. The location holes for the peg-type screws are made from plastic, so ensure you don’t have to take the pegs out and in too often or the plastic threading will just wear away. I’m assuming the location holes have plastic inserts to allow for a little flexibility, which might allow a little movement in the peg-type screws when you are locating into grommets in the other parts.IMPORTANT! The other metal grommets are not of good quality and I spent some time separating them. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM with these grommets is that some of allocated holes in the shelving/ sides / back of the table were on too large and the grommets kept falling out. This is most likely the reason we couldn’t get the table to connect properly – kept having to take pegs out, straighten them up, swapping grommets around, etc… We eventually got there but the one of sides (the last part of the assembly) has a 3mm gap as the grommets just wouldn’t pull the pegs in properly. Couldn’t be bothered taking it apart and sending it back so just kept it as the table itself looks good enough and it’s solid??? enough.Would I buy it again? NO! Not as a flat-pack. I would look around for something similarly modern already assembled. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO STRESS OVER BUILDING A SIDE TABLE!

Slightly too office like for my personal taste. However the positives are it’s very easy to assemble and very sturdy. It’s practical but the design isn’t beautiful. Perhaps a rethink on colour and design would improve what is basically a good product.

Fairly easy to assemble, but not made very well. The back is slightly smaller than it should be so there’s a gap. Looks OK, but there were chips in the veneer & it wobbles when we put something on or off it. For the money it’ll do for now, but we’ll already looking for an alternative.

Ordering furniture online always feels quite suspect and I’d rather get hands-on first. This was a surprisingly reliable little table that worked well – it was easy to assemble, but also actually looks like the photographed result and the sturdiness is pretty good – even without all of the perpendicular screw-securings.Two of them are inexorably stuck together from the ‘bits box’ and we’re only missing 1, but it’s still rock solid.The actual aesthetic is quite nice and doesn’t resemble the price point. There’s plenty of space, the top layer in particular has a nice balance of vertical border and actual flat space, so I’m chuffed. The inlet spaces are quite small, so might be a bit limited, but it ultimately feels like a good value move.A darker wood colour and black metals are always an easy choice, and this is aobut the best simple, clean design and result I could’ve hoped for. It doesn’t set the world on fire, but it does the job well and looks good at it.
