Product Description
Usage advice:
1. Make sure the ergonomic mesh chair is firm enough before usage. If the mesh chair is shaky, uneven, tilted or with noise, please screw up further, especially for the leg screws.
2. Please sit deeper to experience more supportive backrest, seat cushion and headrest.
3. Please choose an open area for assembly. You may put the carton on the floor to prevent abrasion between the floor and the ergonomic mesh chair.
4. Avoid long time direct sunshine on the mesh office chair. Keep it away from fire and wet area.
5. Do not use chemical detergent to clean the high back office chair.
6. To unlock the tilting function, please pull the handle out and lean back slightly until a ‘click’ sound.

I’ve been working from home now for a good 2 years and have had a pretty basic office chair. No lumbar support, headrest, adjustable anything or decent padding. Ive gotten around this by using a separate memory foam seat and some cheap foam armrests (which constantly slip off). Time for a new chair! What to buy though? I had a look at the Herman Miller chairs which are top of the range and in some funky designs – costing about £1000! No thanks. So I did some digging and research and what chair consistently came up as the best budget chair was the Ticova. Have a look on YouTube and you will see the same guys (BTODtv) give this the thumbs up. Ive never heard of BTODtv but they are obsessed with chairs. They review all sorts of chairs including the aforementioned Herman Miller chairs.OK so now Ive heard the hype it’s time to buy one. I got this for £150 of Amazon (it was £200 but had a free £50 voucher) I guess like a money off the sale price thing. I had a look on the price history for this and Ive seen it as high as £300).The delivery was 3 weeks which was kind of surprising for Amazon, however within 4 days Mr Amazon Delivery Driver dropped it off!Product Review::In terms of context I’m an average sized man in the UK so you may want to adjust your perception of the review based on your own height etc.:Installation:Installation was really a breeze, I’m pretty useless at this sort of stuff, but even I managed to put it together in less than 15 minutes. The instructions are basic, but easy to follow,Build Quality:This chair is satisfyingly heavy. The legs of the chair are heavy, solid and wide. No cheap plastic legs here, this things built to last! The frame is solid too, you will struggle to pick this chair up, it’s a beast!Ive always had a problem with comfort and functionality in office chairs., Hard seats, rock hard armrests or ramrod backs with no adjustability. This has none of those issues. Ive broken this down into what I think most people will consider when buying a chair: Armrests: These are fairly hard – but not hard plastic – they are a tough pliable material, you can dig your thumb in and there will be a slow bounce back . There is some give to them and they are wide- wide enough to comfortably rest your entire forearm.. If the armrests were too soft I could imagine over time they would lose their softness and become flat. These armrests will last forever and are comfortable to the extent you don’t even notice them. You can pull them up and push them down ( individually ) to the desired height. You can twist them so they face inwards or outwards. Your can pull them forwards and backwards a few inches. The only thing you can’t adjust is how far away they initially are from yourself. This is set when you install the arms on the frame – so bare this in mind when you put the chair together. Seat padding: I must have thrown away countless chairs due to this issue. Why do manufacturers skimp on seat padding when it’s probably the most important comfort aspect in a chair? This chair is different – it has a satisfying thick medium firm padding, I’d say around 3-4 inches. No issues here it’s so good you can sit for hours and not notice any discomfort. Apologies for any non football fans but they say if you don’t notice the referee he’s been a good referee. The same applies here, you don’t notice the seat so it must be a good seat! Headrest: This is really comfortable. Most of the time I don’t notice it but when you lay back in the chair for a rest and the headrest comes into contact with your head and neck it’s like having a mini head and neck massage! It has a nice contour and padding. The headrest can move vertically up and down with quite a large range (about 6-7 inches). It also tilts to almost any angle for perfect alignment. Back: This has a wide contoured back mesh. Ive never had mesh back before so was a bit concerned it would be hard and uncomfortable. I’m used to padded soft backs (which is probably why Ive had back problems in the past). The mesh back felt comfortable and cool compared to the leather(ette) backings which tend to feel hot and sweaty after a while. It did feel a little like I was being ‘postured’ by the chair. The lower half of the chair felt like it was holding my back in place which I originally put down to the lumbar support being too aggressive but with this effectively ‘turned off’ – more on this later – it was still present. I still felt a weird grabbing feeling around my waist. After 3 days this weird posturing feeling completely disappeared. I can only put this down to I have been sitting slumped in unsuitable chairs for many years and this chair is ergonomically designed to rectify this. I suspect (though its early days – my back problems will be greatly reduced with this chair). Lumbar Support: This kind of follows on from above, but this feature is very unusual for a chair in this price range. It’s essentially a curved plastic within the back itself that you can move up and down, and also tighten with a handle (anti clockwise makes the lumbar support push more into your back and clock wise moves the support away hence lessening the lumbar support). When I first got the chair I didn’t like this one bit, but now I’m used to it Ive found myself increasing the lumbar support.Another thumbs up here! Reclining: This is another plus for the chair, The recline goes a satisfying way back that its not too much that you’re are going to tip the chair over but enough to feel you can stretch out on it. I went to IKEA recently (researching chairs – obsessed I know) and was surprised to find most of the recline on the chairs were really restrictive, and only reclined back a few inches. This chair wont disappoint. There’s essentially 3 positions, One is an incline where you can rock a few inches back and forth ( I have this set most of the time ) and can be locked in place with the right hand lever. One where you can rock way back all the way, and one where you would be ramrod straight (no thanks!). There’s also a twist control on the base of the chair which controls how hard or easy the chair will recline back which is another bonus. Up/down: Im sure theres a technical term for this but essentially its the ability to move your chair up and down. Erm.. it works and it’s solid. Ive had chairs in the past which slowly lower down to the point you suddenly realize your several inches lower down than when you started. This doesn’t appear to have that issue though time will tell. It just works, and going on the quality of the chair it should last.Overall then I’m really amazed with the quality of this chair for the price which easily should be in the 300-400 price range. It’s no Herman Miller, but for a solid chair with lots of adjustable features you wont be disappointed.

I recently purchased the Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair, and overall, it has been a great addition to my office setup. While it comes with many impressive features, there are a few minor drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a perfect 5-star rating.Let’s start with the positives. The adjustable lumbar support is fantastic and has made a noticeable difference in my back comfort. It allows me to customize the support to fit my lower back perfectly, reducing any strain or discomfort during long work sessions. The headrest is also a welcome addition, providing excellent neck support and allowing me to relax during short breaks. The 3D metal armrests are sturdy and provide adequate support for my arms and shoulders. The ability to adjust their height and width is convenient, allowing me to find a comfortable position that suits my needs. I appreciate the flexibility they offer, whether I’m typing, using a mouse, or simply taking a break. The rocking feature is a nice touch, providing a pleasant way to relax and take a breather. The chair can rock back and forth at a comfortable 130° angle, offering a gentle and soothing motion. The chair’s build quality is solid, and the mesh material is breathable, keeping me cool throughout the day. The assembly process was straightforward, clear instructions were provided. I had no trouble putting it together quickly. Now, onto the minor drawbacks. While the lumbar support is adjustable, I found that it could use a bit more padding. After extended periods of sitting, I sometimes feel the need for additional cushioning in that area. Additionally, the headrest, although adjustable, doesn’t lock in place, which means it occasionally moves slightly when I lean back. It’s a minor annoyance, but worth mentioning.Despite these minor drawbacks, the Ticova Office Chair remains an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and supportive seating solution. It offers adjustable lumbar support, a headrest, metal armrests, and a rocking feature—all of which greatly enhance the overall ergonomic experience. If the padding on the lumbar support were improved and the headrest had a locking mechanism, it would easily earn a 5-star rating. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this chair to others in need of a reliable and ergonomic office chair.

Comes in a nice smallish box (for a chair). Packaged decently enough. Very easy to put together. All parts are decent quality.I use just the core of the chair without the headrest or armrests attached as I find them just annoying. I also took off the lumbar support as it was too much, even on the less penetrative setting. The lumbar is a pain to take off as it kept in this little box which requires a really short screwdriver to remove the screws from as it’s up against the mesh back of the chair.I also would recommend not putting the cover of the base of the chair on as it doesnt really cover anything unsightly up and just makes noise rattling around – dont know what the point of it is.The seat is well cushioned – not hard at all.

Let me start by saying I’m 6’2” and slim so this may only be relevant to people of a similar build.I’ll start with the positives: I have been using this chair daily for the past month. It’s comfortable, and the back and headrest provide great support. The lumbar support can be adjusted to suit you, I settled for the loosest possible as that feels the most comfortable. The tilt adjustment is great and the ability to lock the tilt in place is something I have used more than expected. I would definitely recommend this chair for those that WFH.Now, onto the negative… the armrests. Unfortunately they aren’t as adjustable as I needed for my build. I have long arms and narrow shoulders and found that the arm rests don’t go low enough or close enough together for the correct support. It was actually so bad that it resulted in me pinching a nerve in my shoulder as my shoulders were slightly raised and stretched apart when resting my arms. This is because the lowest setting was still too high, and the closest together was still too far apart. Leaning on these over the course of the first month took a toll to the point that a nerve was pinched and I could no longer sit and had to rest. I have since taken the arm rests off as a result of this.I give the chair 4/5 as I had to remove the arm rests. If arm rests are a big selling point for you then I would look elsewhere. Otherwise very comfortable and adjustable.

The Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair has completely transformed my work experience, providing unparalleled comfort and support for long hours at my desk. The standout feature of this chair is its adjustable lumbar support, which allows me to customize the perfect level of support for my lower back. This feature has significantly reduced discomfort and strain, promoting better posture and preventing backaches. The high back design and included headrest offer added support for my neck and shoulders, ensuring proper alignment and reducing tension. The 3D metal armrests are a fantastic addition, allowing me to adjust them to the perfect height and angle for optimal arm and wrist support. The 130° rocking feature provides a gentle and relaxing motion, promoting circulation and easing any stiffness during extended periods of sitting. The only minor drawback I have encountered is that the assembly process may take some time and effort. However, the unbeatable comfort and support offered by the Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair make it an essential investment for anyone seeking a productive and comfortable work environment.

Bought as a temporary chair, will probably keep as much better on my back than the “gaming” chair it replaced (Vertagear SL2000)Foam in seat has already lost a lot of its bounce, but was thick enough that its not uncomfortablePros- Great ergo mesh back- 3 position tilt lock- Comfortable headrest- Good 3d armrests- Sensible max heightCons- Headrest shape looks silly on video calls- Seat foam crushed after short period of time- Occasionally strut drops if you sit down too hard

For years, I’ve used a “fixed” wooden captain’s Windsor-type armchair for sitting at the computer, complete with folded blankets (to raise the seat slightly) and a folded cushion (better lumbar support). I finally decided to get a proper office chair, and it’s a big improvement! The chair actually looks pretty good amongst the rest of the (wooden) furniture, its mesh back making it less of a bold statement in the room.I find that the main advantage of the new chair is that it’s easy to adopt different positions – which I think is better in general for your musculature, rather than being in one position all the time. The seat height varies between 42-56 cm. Seat height is adjusted by twisting the side lever. The seat back can be locked at your desired angle (by pushing the side lever inwards), or it can be variable in position, when it provides just the right amount of resistance to support your back if you wish to recline. Reclining is surprisingly comfortable, and provides a way to vary your sitting position when you’re reading rather than typing. The knob underneath the front of the chair allows you to adjust the resistance of the back reclining. The headrest is something that I thought I’d never use, but in fact is really comfortable – it’s a clever shape, allowing you to adjust its vertical and horizontal position. Finally, there is a lumbar support that can be adjusted both in-and-out and vertically. Headrest height and lumbar support height is adjusted simply by pulling the device.I like it, it seems very well constructed (I’m 14 stone), and very reasonable price. Nice.

The chair is quite simple, easy to assemble, sturdy, comfy and really well made. Unfortunately after 8 months of use the oil cylinder failed and the seat started to slide down every time used. Initially the seat drops were pretty slow and easy to readjust but they became permanent after about 1 week since first noticed. I dont really know what to think about this chair as I really like it. As I see this is the problem with most office chairs out there. I thought that by buying a more expensive one, I am going to get some higher quality also for oil cylinder but apparently thats not the case. The oil cylinder appears to be the weakest part of it. After 8 months it became obvious that I need to purchase a new one or find the way to fix it on my own. I contacted Amazon’s support with the issue and they offered me full refund. After refund I purchased exactly the same office chair with hope that maybe this time it is going to be fine. Its would be a terrible waste to buy a new chair every few months, especially that it shouldnt be a rocket science to build a reliable oil cylinder. Its hard to score this product. If it works, I would score it even with 4 or 5 stars, but to be honest its totaly unacceptable, especially at this price level, that oil cylinder didnt survive even a single year. As said, I was so happy with this purchase that after refund I re-ordered exactly the same one. If it survives a year, I will give it a better score. If not, I will give it a one star and wont order the same brand office chair anymore.

I’m 5’11 and less than 12 stone – so, I’m not a big dude. Good features, comfy and a total bargain.I could go on and on about how impressed I am, but I’m sure you’re more interested in the nit-picks:Big & Tall? I’m not sure this’ll be the chair for you. If I were taller, I’m sure my shoulders would be bashing the headrest (yes, the headrest is height adjustable, but I found a low setting is more comfortable).Reclining – has stepped positions and doesn’t go back as far as I’m used to.Lowest position is not as low as I’d like (around 37cm from bottom of seat) – I do like to ‘lounge’ around in the chair (which this chair is good for, despite this).Time will tell when it comes to durability.I paid 130 quid for this, so if the nit-picks don’t turn you off, I doubt you’ll get a better chair than this for the money.I’m still giving this 5 stars as I’ve sat in a lot of chairs – features and price; damn!

really easy to assemble and took about 20 minsthe lumbar support is great and can be movedthe only downside is after a few hours of consistent sitting I found it a little uncomfortable but not as bad as other cheap office chairs I’ve used before

Had it for over a month now, the headrest isn’t perfect for a tall person (I’m 6’3″) but it’s nice that it’s adjustable (or completely removable if you prefer.)I’m a petty big guy – (42″ waist) and I find it very comfortable. I like to have the arm rests pushed forward as far as possible and twisted in the ‘turned in’ position (about 30°) so it kind of encloses me – very very comfortable for my arms.It wasn’t very difficult to assemble – but the lift/tilt mechanism was tricky to understand at first – just make sure pull/push it horizontally inwards if you’re not able to lift the lever and you’ll figure it out pretty quick.(I plan to update this review in a year’s time after long term use)

Been using this for about a month and it’s the best office chair I’ve ever owned. For its value, it’s amazing. The chair is relatively easy to assemble. Features include:- Adjustable chair height- Back tilt lock/unlock- Back tilt tension adjustment- Lumbar support height and in/out adjustment. The height is very limited.- Headrest height and tilt adjustment- Armrests height and (limited) rotation adjustmentThe chair is sturdy and well made, but the legs have that mass-produced “Made in China” quality. The top of the chair itself feels fairly premium. It is very comfortable. The headrest is wobbly but doesn’t bother me. The tilt and height handle under the chair also feels fragile but I’ve not had problems with it so far.Overall, very happy with the chair.

Beth pleased with this chair. It was surprisingly easy to assemble (glad I didn’t pay the assembly fee), and so far it’s a great chair.Very comfy and lots of adjustments. For me the lumbar adjustment was very important as not many chairs in this price range have this.No complaints, happy customer!

Having bought this chair some time ago I decided it was time to write a review. My first impressions when opening the box were that it looked a very good chair. Putting it together was easy and I had it built and ready for use in less than 30 minutes. The chair itself is very comfortable even after long periods sitting in it (I spend a lot of time editing pics). It moves well on the wheels and has plenty of scope for adjustment. My only reservation is that I wish there was more height adjustment, but it seems standard on most of the office chairs I have ever had for them to not go as high as I would like.Other than that I love the chair and for the money it is definitely worth buying! I certainly fail to see how any chair which costs in some cases three times as much would be three times better!
Oliver D –
after doing some research i decided this was a better idea then a gaming chairIts stylish enough that i don’t hate it, comfortable enough its still with me, and cant be 100% but the supports got to be better then sitting on the sofa or in a “flat” gaming chair (that’s double the cost)So after all that being said, i put it together my self and haven fallen off of it yet so its all ok, and the price was good for a entry level office chair

I found this chair to be a bit dissapointing after researching and watching reviews on Youtube. The chair I had before I bought the Ticova was the MARKUS chair from IKEA and I would buy the MARKUS chair over the Ticova anyday. I had my MARKUS chair for what seems like 6+ years and the only reason I had to get a new chair was because the seat cushion had mostly lost its comfort and bottomed out. I thought I would try something new instead of getting a new MARKUS which I now really regret. The seat cushion is not comfy at all, very thin and hurts sitting on it for any length of time if I’m being honest. The headrest is ok but it isn’t secured on by anything other than the adjuster and I found that I would accidently pull it off when trying to adjust it and it also moves side to side a lot.The back support is really bad, its just plastic that digs into your back and feels like it more likely does more damage to your back than supporting it.The back rest also doesn’t have great adjustability compared to other chairs, you can only lock the back rest in 2 recline positions so it can be hard to get it in the recline you want, however it does have does have a decent max recline although it doesn’t lock in at that max for some reason. I also found that theb ackrest wasn’t a great fit for me even though i’m probably average height and weight for a man. Often felt my shoulders did not fit on the chair and would just be resting on the hard plsatic edging of the chair. The arm rests I found to be quite nice, they are very adjustable and the padding although its not very soft it is just soft enough to be comfortable and they seem like they will last the entire lifetime of the chair.I feel like a good office chair is very personal to each individual, we all come in different shapes and sizes, we all have different preferences and we all have different setups and uses for them. For example you might prefer to have a chair that allows for a more lounging style for gaming and watching movies/shows or you may want it for a professional office. Either way I would not recommend this chair over alternatives such as the IKEA MARKUS.

Really comfortable and great back support, only one slight thing for me being short, you cannot move the lumber support and it is slightly high for me, but still incredibly comfortable.

Bought this while it was on offer as i’ve seen this chair highly rated by many peopleDead easy to assemble, everything you need is provided in the box along with some gloves so you don’t scuff up the chrome with your finger prints.First impressions of the chair was one of immediate discomfort, after years of terrible posture in a cheaply made racing style “gaming chair” my body had to be shocked into better posture, so there is definitely an adjustment period that you need to go through before you start to feel properly comfortable in this chair, give it at least a week before you decide what you’re going to do, better yet, give it two.Armrests while they seemed hard in the preview were actually ok, they had some give to them and weren’t harsh on my elbows at allSeat is nice and padded and i can sit on it for an entire day and not get soreThe main downside to the chair imo is the lumbar is quite harsh plastic in your back, rather uncomfortable and could definitely do with some sort of padding added to itAll in all I’d give this chair a 3 star review if it wasn’t for the amazing value, it is seriously unbeatable at this price point and is easily putting chairs 2-3x its price to shame, but it’s not without it’s issues, so it can’t get a 5 i’m afraid.

I found a positive review from a north American on YouTube so did a search for it and hey presto…it was on Amazon.co.uk with a £20 off voucher, bought it without a second thought. Well it arrived on time today in a small heavy box so I assembled it, not as difficult as some but still I managed to get things wrong way round more than once. I’m sitting on it now and my bum isn’t sore within a few minutes as it was with the old chair, the comfortable padded arms are adjustable up/down/round/back/forth. Seat is adjustable for height and rake, whole chair can tilt with adjustable tension. adjustable lumbar support works well. I’ll update this as time goes by. First update…my blood pressure has come down a lot, cant believe it, the old chair must have been torture to use…

Fantastic value, the chair has helped with my posture. The only downside is that the arm rests are a plastic material and when I’m wearing a t shirt, my skin gets really dry and I have to put extra moisteriser on.

To start with it’s important to say I paid £139.99 for this chair so my high opinion of it is at that price point. I believe it was -£50 in the Spring Sale, and then another -£50 via a voucher. For the above price, this chair is a bargain. My one doesn’t have any of the bust stitching or other issues in some of the videos and photos, so I guess I got lucky there, and it is a really nicely manufactured office chair. It’s actually of very similar quality and style to the chairs we had in my work office. I find it very comfortable with good back support, the head rest is very supportive and I like to lay back in my chair while thinking (or procrastinating!) and this chair offers that feature very nicely. This might just be me, but I’m not a fan of arms on office chairs, I never rest on them and find they get in the way (in general, but I also play bass so certainly can’t practice in a chair with arms). If anyone else is the same, I’m happy to report there is no need to add the arms onto this chair, it’s not part of the under-carriage that is needed like some. Now, I have sat in better chairs, my Dad has a very nice office chair that was in the £400-£500 range (I forget the brand) and being honest that is certainly a superior chair, so honestly if I was going to pay the £240 retail price for this chair, I’d probably just continue to save and purchase something similar to my father’s, however, I’d rather not pay that for a chair, and if you can get it for the similar sub £150 price, I believe you won’t find a better chair in that price area.

This chair looks good and is comfortable.I’m the sort of person who needs a new chair every 12-18 months.I often wonder whether an £800 or £2000 chair would fair better, but why take the risk? This chair was so easy to assemble. It took less than 5 minutes to unpack and put together. After using it for one day, my back is thanking me.I would recommend to anyone looking for an office chair, rather than a gaming chair, which is my usual goto.

Price:This chair is often discounted by various amounts… the price fluctuates a lot.I picked it up for £150 around black Friday. But, even at around £200, this chair would be good value.Assembly:I absolutely HATE having to assemble stuff. But this was fairly quick and straightforward (and I was able to do it by myself).Build quality:So, this does feel cheaper than a Herman Miller chair. But doesn’t feel like any particular part would break or wear easily… All perfectly acceptable.Comfort:The lumbar support is a bit aggressive, but can be dialled out using the knob on the back of the chair. At first I was very worried that the chair forced me to sit in a very forward position, but I got used to it within the first day and find it very comfortable.Nice tension for the back tilt and good cushioning on the seat.Gets me through the working day in comfort… what more could I ask for?Summary:Excellent value and comfortable chair. Won’t have the resale value of a Herman Miller, but costs a fraction of the price, so can’t complain.

I’m 190 cm and the chair needs to be at full extension to be comfortable, the problem is the further you extend the gas cylinder the more wobbly the chair gets, at full extension the chair is just too unstable and rocks in all directions, this was only 1 week after receiving the product.I’ve returned it.

Pros:+ Easy to assemble ~15 mins+ Price – you get a lot for your money+ Build quality – really durable and heavy duty materials used+ Size – large seat area for larger people+ Adjustability: + Arms: go up/down and can be height locked they turn inwards and outwards – one stage for each ~20 degrees? they go forwards and backwards – 6 stages ~1cm each stage + Seat: Smooth gas light height adjust Tilts very slightly with recline feature + Backrest: Reclines as you lean back, tension for this is adjustable Recline can be locked in place in full recline, half recline and forward positions + Neck rest: Up and down rotates up and down (but this does little to alter its position). + Lumbar support moves up/down, in and outCons:- I am quite light and find the recline tension is almost a little too much even on minimum setting.- Seat is well cushioned, but not that comfy – it’s fine though.- Lumbar support plastic is a bit knobbly and skinny people like me may find it uncomfortable – although the support here is good and the adjustability – I think I am getting used to it now though.Overall:Really good and great for the price. sturdy. My back feels better from the lumbar support already!
Hat-Kid –
Very good chair, comfy. Seat padding is thick and somewhat stiff at first, but softened after just a day of use. I don’t feel the need to add a cushion or anything of the sort. Mesh back is comfortable and breathable. Loving the smooth and deep recline/tilt of the chair which makes it wonderful for lounging back at my desk with a foot stool. I’d recommend buying a set of wheels with brakes to be able to keep the chair in place so it’s more comfortable to use while leaning back without the chair rolling away from the desk. The recline has three locking positions too which is a great touch. Head rest is serviceable.Arm rests adjust in height, in how far forward/back they go, and in steps side to side which makes them great for different seating positions and supports my arms to comfortably use my keyboard and mouse in different positions at my desk. The rests are wide so although they are somewhat stiff they feel comfy since they disperse pressure across their surface. Just don’t expect to be able to lean your elbow onto them comfortably. They are arm rests not elbow rests. Adjust them to desk height and let them take the weight of your arms while you type, like an extension of your desk. They are very adjustable to accommodate this. The lumbar support is the worst part of this chair. It is punishingly painful if you sit in the chair and adjusting it up or down, back or forth doesn’t help. It digs into your spine especially if you are thin and have a bony back. It actually hurts after a while, even if you try to sit ‘ergonomically’. Thankfully you can take the plastic lumbar support out and the chair is a lot more comfy without it, and if you need lumbar support you can stuff a small firm cushion behind the mesh where it was. I think the natural curve of the mesh back is supportive enough on its own though.Overall I really like this chair, and the build quality is rather nice.

I bought this in the black friday sale for £130 and as such it is a good deal. Just got it and it took about an hour to unpack and assemble, everything was well protected in the packaging and in good condition. The instructions were fine. It had a few spare screws with it which is nice, and bizarrely comes with a pair of thin white gloves which will come in handy if I want to do a Michael Jackson tribute one day.The chair feels sturdy enough for the price, it is pretty comfortable, though not quite as nice on the behind as it looks for how thick the cushion is, maybe it will wear in over time. The adjustable armrests (up/down, forwards/backwards, angled forward/inwards/outwards) is a nice feature, but at least for my tastes the rotation is at too big an angle – the inward setting is about 30 degrees from straight which is too much, something like about 15 degrees would have been preferable, but I guess it depends on the size of the person and what they are using it for. I saw a review saying the arms collapse, but they feel very sturdy to me and don’t move. The seat is a bit wider than I have used before which would make it good for those with a wider behind than average. The tilting is nice and smooth and there is no creaking in the chair. I don’t use the headrest much myself, but it seems to do the job well enough.Overall a good chair in the sub £150 range, you can get better chairs, but probably not without spending a lot more.

I bought this chair with high expectations because I watched a bunch of reviews of it on YouTube, it did not disappoint. The chair is very comfortable the arm rests have the perfect amount of adjustment for my needs, the seat is firm yet soft exactly how I like it and it looks great with the rest of my setup.Even at the lowest setting the recline of the backrest is quite stiff, which at first made me disappointed but after a while of using it I realised that its actually helping me stay focused by not letting me slouch back the whole time I’m trying to get work done. The only issue I have with the chair is that the headrest has enough play in its mount that it rocks backward and forward and makes quite a bit of noise, which I’d like to point out that for some buyers may not even be an issue because it is completely detachable. I do prefer to keep it on as it relives tension on your neck when you are leaning back whilst watching the screen and it does it very comfortably.Overall the chair is a great pick for a low budget ergonomic office chair, especially if you are lucky like me and catch it on sale and manage to apply a coupon, which for me brought it down to £150 – An absolute steal!!!

Bought as an office chair. Reclining option is great although a little stiff. Comfortable chair and would buy again.

Working from home 90% of the time meant I needed a good chair. After my previous gaming style chair started to fall apart after years of use, I thought it would be wise to consider investing a reasonable amount of money in a replacement. Office chairs are a little like a mattress, you spend a good 7-8 hours a day in one but still spend more on the sofa and think nothing of it.So I pitched my budget in the 500 range and spent weeks reading reviews, watching reviews. The chair I started out with cost £400 – reviews suggested it was the best chair for the money.I returned that one inside 4 weeks having developed more pains that I’d ever experienced in a chair before. So then I focused my attention on lower priced alternatives and found this Ticova getting reviews from some very good independent you tube review sites. All said the same thing that it was very comfortable and had more or less all the key features needed to find the sweet spot of comfort.Happy to say they were bang on with their assessment this time around. Be wary of non-independent reviewers would be my advice. Those who focus on one chair in their video reviews are often planted by the manufacturer.I am of slim build and anything in a chair that sticks out in the wrong place I tend to feel ten fold. So I will be honest, the lumbar support does not suit my build and I was forced to remove it. Taking it from being slightly uncomfortable to extremely comfortable by doing so. You will need a very short handled Philips screwdriver to do this or a Allen key with Philips head might also suffice.I Love leaning back in the chair during meetings, the cushioned seat seems just about right in terms of balance of firmness and softness. Arms are adjustable in all directions to ensure you have chance to rest your arms in line with your keyboard. So, happy to say – this time around you don’t always have to spend the big bucks to get a good office chair. This one came in way lower than my budget and ticks all the boxes.Been using it for a good 3-4 weeks now and no issues, happy to sit in it for long periods and never stood up and had to straighten out my back or anything.Confident you will be happy with this chair.

Nice clear instructions make this very easy to assemble. Chair is very comfortable especially the seat base. Had a problem with my left hamstring possibly caused by work supplied office chairs since working from home. Decided to buy this one myself & no regrets. With the work supplied one, I can sit on it for an hour or so before my hamstring plays up. With this one, providing I get up & walk around every now and again (which is good for you anyway) it’s comfortable for almost my entire 7 hr shift, which is such an improvement.Only issue for me is that the arm rests are a little too high, even when lowered to the minimum height. With my desk resting on the arm rests it’s just slightly too high for me to type comfortably. I’m noticing that my shoulders are a bit scrunched up trying to adapt. But easily fixed as the arm rests are just fixed in with 3 screws in each, I’m just going to take them off altogether.

I bought this chair for gaming because I have a tendency to slouch back & sit really awkwardly. First of all the chair was really straightforward to assemble in just 6 simple steps. The lumbar support is good when adjusted correctly – make sure you do this or it can dig in. The arm wrests are really nice, I turn them inwards slightly and I can wrest my arms nicely while gaming. The seat is comfortable too. The only real downside I’ve found so far is the headrest, its a little bit wobbly and kinda awkward to position your head correctly, it’s also a bit annoying to adjust up and down. Overall, happy with the purchase, I managed to pick it up for £150 because it was £200 and amazon had a £50 voucher so it may be worth seeing if the price moves because the day after I bought it the voucher had dropped to £20 so £180 total for it.

All in all this is a cheapish chair so you do have to get it on sale for it to make sense, its is sometimes available for as little as 150 quid and that’s a great price for this chair. The lumbar support is pretty good and it’s comfortable. Will the chair last? Only time will tell, for now I am happy with it.

I found the lumbar support to be too aggressive, even wound fully back. You can actually remove it with a bit of judicious pressure. Also the seat lacked enough depth. Would be better if there was adjustment in that area.

My previous chair was starting to show wear on the arms and seat, with flaking of the faux leather material. The construction of this means I won’t have this problem, with a woven seat, a frame back and armrests of a firm, but with a bit of give, plastic type. The adjustment options are great and it provides good lumbar adjustment, which I find works best with the reclining function. rather than sitting bolt upright.Assembly was pretty easy, although some might find the need for an additional pair of hands for some parts.

Build: the chair arrives in a surprisingly small box; assembling takes about half an hour. Quality seems decent. Repackaging for return would be difficult.Seat: a simple thick foam cushion. Cumfy, a little warm. No adjustment.Back: mesh over a stiff plastic frame, but one size does not fit all, and this is the real problem. The lumbar support is height adjustable, but not enough. The tilt mechanism and head rest are very good, but my shoulders are not supported when leaning due to the back’s limited height.Arms: okay, but much too wide for me with almost no width adjustment. At a guess the chair might be decent if you’re 170cm and 80kg+, but that isn’t me.

I was looking for a new chair for quite a while. I could not believe that you can buy such sturdy and ergonomic piece for a little more than 100e

Pretty adjustable, good quality components. Extra screws supplied as spares. Allan key supplied so no additional tools needed. 5 minutes to assemble. Brilliant.

At the price you’re suprised with just the shear amount fo features the chair provides in terms of functionality. Going past that the chair exceeds in quality too. Bought this for £139.99 on sale and it’s a bargain. Comfortable seat, breathable back rest, lumbar support option is useful and the dial is handy when you don’t need it in. Arm adjustability is top-end and head rest is very comfortable. I’m 6ft 2 and this chair is very comfortable for me. The tiniest niggle for me is the length of the seat itself. When reclined it’s perfect but when sat in the upright position the seat cushion could have been better slightly further forward as my legs hang off ever so slightly more than I’d like. Adjustability in the distance at which it’s screwed in would have solved this. Other than that it’s perfect. Don’t waste your money elsewhere, it’s a great product.

Great looking chair and well made. Ours had an issue with the lumbar support and only issue i can see if we were to use our chair is that the lumbar support is not padded thus not very comfy on the back. However on the flip, this slight lack of comfortableness could draw your attention to sit better. What we have noticed so far is the chair is not squeaking at all where as many others do.The headrest is big and sits well, however it has movement in it left to right which is annoying and we ended up having to put cable ties in to fix it from moving so much. Overall, its a very nice chair and you wont be disappointed or your back. After sales team is very helpful so rest assured should you have an issue, they will be there to help you.

As a bigger person, I’m not a fan of ergonomic chairs. I thought these types of chairs were supposed to fix back problems.

On the whole, really good chair. Provides very good support and is very comfortable for long sitting sessions and being an illustrator, I spend a lot of time sitting! The back support is excellent. The pain in my hip (that I put down to the poor ergonomics of my old chair) has gone and I find myself standing and sitting straighter overall which is a big plus. The bad however. Firstly, it takes a while to adjust to the chair. It felt uncomfortable for a while because I just wasn’t used to sitting in a position that was beneficial to my posture such as the chair promotes. Secondly, the head rest is not secured, it wiggles and moves. It can move up and down as you see fit but it moves around all over the place. Also, mine arrived with cracked plastic housing for the base and on one of the supports, the spot welding was not fully complete.Overall, a great chair that does provide a substational benefit for your back health but there are some quality control issues.

Ok, so physio said that my old desk chair had to go. Looked at reviews and this was popular, and a lot cheaper than high street £1000+ models I had looked at. However, it was a risk, but for £140, I thought it was worth a try.Assembled in minutes, I did use my Allen-key T-bar, but the chair really just dropped together, take care when pushing the casters on, easy to trap your hand, but other than that, all really simple, one spanner rating.Adjustment, lumber, seat height, arms up and down, arms twist. Seat does not move back and forward, nor does it tilt, but the back tilts back a treat. The seat is level firm and comfortable, the mesh back is also nice, my old leather model was quite sweaty in the summer.Comfort is good, you feel supported, and it really does encourage you to sit correctly, my physio would probably approved, I am getting use to not slouching and sitting like a bag of spuds.Generally very happy with my purchase, but only had it for a week, sat in it for 2 days, 8hrs with suitable breaks, so time will tell.Hope this helps.

great value chair and importantly has adjustable lumbar support, reclines and a headrest. Its nothing special in terms of its build or design but perfectly adequate and inoffensive

Comfy seat. Back is nice but lumbar support is a bit harsh. You can remove that if don’t want it.

At first I found this chair to be great, very comfortable cushion on the chair. However, after a few hours my back was in so much pain from the lumbar support. The support is very hard and uncomfortable on the back and caused me great back pain no matter how I adjusted it. I would not recommend this chair purely because of this as it was too uncomfortable and I had to return just after 2 days due to how much back pain it was causing me! Be careful!

After reading the good reviews I was super excited to get this chair as my usual office chair was getting uncomfortable.I was really shocked to see how shoddily made the seat was. Thin and overstretched material stapled down. My old chair in comparison was much better quality, especially the under the seat pad.I wasn’t expecting this to be the quality of a 1k chair but £190 still isn’t cheap and this was the quality of a knock-off copy.On the seating area again, it was like a chunk of the foam was missing and there’s a big triangle without part of the foam.On my older (and not expensive chair) there was a plastic bucket underneath to make it neat. This one is bare and you can feel the staples when you move the seat. It looks like the staples will pull the material in the future as it’s stretched in some places already and beggining to tear. For such an important part of the chair, the seat looked like a very cheap and doesn’t give me confidence that this will last. I’m not sure how it has had good reviews after seeing it in person. Maybe I was just unlucky to get a poorly made one but I can only review what I received. Shame as the design is good but the manufacturing isn’t
