Bookworm –
Easy enough to assemble and robust and comfortable when assembled. HOWEVER, a year on, the fittings (nuts, bolts, brackets) have proven very susceptible to rusting and the seat covers have both torn. I’ve been able to find new seat covers from an independent maker (not available from the manufacturer), but the nuts and bolts are so badly rusted that I can’t dismantle the seats to replace them. The problem might be partially solved if the maked produced a cover to fit the seat, but they don’t. The only generic cover I could find that fitted didn’t provide enough protection. Loved it while it was working, but ultimately disappointed.

Not only am I annoyed at the total lack of instructions but the price dropped 10% (£20) overnight after I purchased. Will be returning as I don’t need to practice for the Krypton Factor.EDIT: I’ve now been offered a partial refund & a PDF of the instructions so will change rating when refund arrives.

Avoid at all costs. Bought in Aug 21, used for one full summer and yesterday sat on the chair and this happened…we are both light! I paid £190 for it and MHSTAR have just told me they can’t do anything about it as it has a 6 month warranty on it. 6 months? It didn’t state that anywhere in the description. It also is not waterproof. Chairs get soaked when it rains so constantly had to keep covers I made on it in the summer. The canopies aren’t waterproof either. Absolutely disgusted with the service and item. Shocking product. I’ve also read other reviews now where the same has happened. Instead of throwing it away I have weaved the seat with rattan webbing, super strong and much better quality than the ridiculous canvas it came with! Time consuming, but worth it.

Had two of these before and the seat covering riped ,but I love my swing so got this one more sturdy an covering has strengthens through so yes good buy love it

Very pleased with this canopy swing. It definitely takes two people to assemble but was built in approx an hour.Item arrived in 2 large boxes and all components were very well packaged and protected. The instructions were quite clear although sometimes it does help to look at the next stage to the one you’re assembling just to clarify piece rotation.Once built, the swing is very sturdy and stable and is very comfortable. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this swing set.

Easy to assemble with two people, in about two hours. Really comfortably swing chair, particularly great because the chairs are independent of one another. Love the drink holders too! I wasn’t expecting the squishy seat covers so they were a bonus. Lovely item that the whole family are enjoying. Oh we also had a delivery issue in that the delivery company only delivered one of two boxes. This company quickly dispatched a second box, which arrived quickly. Great help and communication, thank you.

Lovely separate swing chairs, takes 2 people to assemble, as long as you follow the instructions its easy enough. Very comfortable to sit in. Shelters from the rain, which is nice if its warm but raining. The cup holders are a brilliant idea.

Found the instructions tucked inside the cushions when I had finished construction!!So must be easy self evident from pictures.Comfortable and sturdy .Best bit is individual swinging seats.

Beautiful heavy duty swing seat. Very relaxing.Love it 😀 however, one year on canvas seat has ripped open. Supplier (Aosom) states that they have no spare parts for this as it is a new item that they are selling and discontinued the email. Total waste of money. Appalling customer service

One of our two sears has ripped. Can I get a replacement. If not from here does anyone know of getting one from somewhere else. It’s only a year old and very disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic! Looks good, it’s comfy and the best is 2 people can swing independently! Great when my boyfriend doesn’t want to talk to me!
