This comes flat packed. It was fairly easy to put together although it would have been helpful if the nuts and bolts had been in individual packets according to size. The back of the seat had some cracks in it as did the seat itself. We will have to buy some sealant so the wet does not get into to the untreated wood.Overall it’s ok

The item arrived very quickly, contained in two individual boxes and was well packaged. The included illustrated instructions were a bit on the small side. I did assemble it on my own ( i’m a male OAP ), but, if you are slightly frail, seek help. One tip I would give, is to have a tape measure handy and check the thread length of the bolts you are fitting.

So it took a while to get here, but we’ve received and built it now. It took quite a while to build, and is not the simplest to put together, but now it’s up the seat and frame are very good. The cover is a bit flimsy, but we might rejig it a bit so that it doesn’t keep coming off, or possibly get a different one separately. The main bit is good though, and could easily have a couple of adults (or, as in my case, large teenage boys) using it as a climbing frame without causing it any problems at all. The cup holders either side are quite useful, and it swings well, with no creaking or wobbling.

Brilliant, I got it on a lightening deal. Arrived next day instead on 5 days. Instructions weren’t great but put up reasonably easy by 2 people. Looks very impressive compared to the metal ones

Some of the parts could’ve had a better finish, I’m happy with it overall .Something of this quality will last with the proper care… worst case scenario take off any bit that’s broken … make it treat it fit it… job done.

Solid build.. I mean really solid :)Only thing that bothered me was the canopy.. Kept the Sun off you at midday only :PAlso after rain it would hold enough water to fill the kids paddling pool..BUT I would still buy another if needed.. Stick its feet on 1/4 size/cut concrete slabs ,oil it up leave out all year round..Oh but for Winter take the canopy off or stick a couple of small drain holes in it..

Bought this for my wife for her birthday presentAssembly was easy enough, BUT the arms that the back rest connects to are different sizes by 1.5 inches.This makes the back rest wonky. Edit: customer services asked for a photo and the part number and did resolve the matter by sending a replacement piece.

Disappointed with instructions, which were poorly presented and sometimes difficult to relate to during construction. There was also some damageto one of the wooden support legs, which was also disappointing. However, once construction was completed and several coats of stain were added, it makes a very nice piece of garden furniture.

Item Arrived 2 Days Early(on a Friday) but was incomplete with all nuts and Bolts etc missing.The call centre was closed all weekend so could not contact them until Monday.The missing parts finally arrived on the following Friday so total delivery was effectively 1 day late.Other than that the product is of good quality and reasonably easy to assemble

I purchased this product because it appeared to be good for the price when comparing iwth other swing benches.I was not dissapointed.First of all heads up for the fast delivery. I ordered on Monday and got it delivered on Wednesday, really was not expecting that given the bulky parcel.It was packed very well and the wood seems to be a good quality. it took me about 2 1/2hrs to build it and think manual could have been a bit more specific as i found it a bit confusing to idendify correctly which screw to use for which hole. However i figured it out eventually. The overall appearance of the bench is fantastic and my wife really loves to sit on it enjoying the warm weather.I would defenitely recomend this product.

Very strong and sturdy. Put together easily. Instructions for canopy did not mention until the whole was put together that it should have been fitted first. Seat slightly narrower than we wanted but probably our fault for not checking thoroughly and only taking overall measurements. Satisfied with purchase.

The canopy is somewhat flimsy and I can already see a few holes in it within a month of putting up the swing. A little worried about how it will fare the winter rains…..A stiffer conical canopy may allow the rainwater to drain away much easier and be more resistant to rainwater accumulation.The swing itself is elegant and sturdy-looks good in our small garden.

Received the hammock yesterday in two very heavy boxes. Followed instructions (which could have been a bit clearer) and after two hours it was completely assembled into a sturdy hammock.A bit disappointing were the disposable tools provided, You can save at least half an hour with the correct spanners and sockets; remember to use washers everywhere!This is our third garden hammock in the last 12 or so years I must say that this is the best by far; the only slight disappointment is that it does not come with cushions or at least an option to buy separately, it is however comfortable enough to use without.Given the hardwood quality, I am confident that it will last for many years.

Chair is OK. Not a real hardwood product. We had a defective chain which the company failed to provide a replacement for, but gave us a discount. The shipping charge was not spotted and is excessive. It is very solid and fitted together fine. Pity about the chain.

To many problems with it. Countersunk holes not done correctly {two washers fitting over the hole, rather than within it}. Splinters on seat; cracks on main supports. One of the chains shorter than the rest – asked for replacement – was told had to send in photo before anything could be done. This saga still ongoing as i have never used photo facility before. Customer service like the product – shoddy and cheap. Would not recommend or buy another – but more importantly would not do any more buisness with that particular company.

very misleading instructions for the canopy and very surprised this morning that after a storm last night the canopy was full to bursting point with water,other wise very pleased with it it certainly is a good sturdy seat

The bench itself is very nice to look at and well made. Sadly the roof canopy collects water and sags significantly which means you have to empty it after heavy rainfall. Not a huge problem itself, but this leads to increase wear on the fabric and discolouration. Eventually, after 18 months use, ours started to rip in places and looked very worn out.The manufacturer doesn’t sell replacement canopies so renders the bench useless unless you can make one yourself!

A really good solid swing seat I love the canopy on top as this is an excellent sun blocker for when it’s really hot but if you like the sun you can pull it back without taking it off completely.The seat swing is plenty for three adults and it also has a little shelf on either side to put a cuppa on which is really handy.I have every confidence this solid swing seat will last for years.

I didn’t purchase from amazon but it came in two separate boxes was very heavy as the wood is very good quality but please take in consideration when purchasing you will need a professional carpenter or someone very constructive in order to asemble this hammock/swing as comes flat pack with complicated instructions I had to hire a flackpack professional in order to get it assembled or I would of been at a loss apart from that it’s an absolute beauty to my garden great to chill on those summer days or relaxing after a long day at work when having a family barbecue or garden party very impressive

Very easy to assemble. just take your time! Separated out the different size bolts, added correct number of washers and added a nut and began construction. When complete the seat is a solid piece of furniture. 2 bolts were incorrectly labelled in the instructions but by the time this process was reached it was pretty obvious which ones to use.
