So I had one of these type of mirrors almost identical and after a good while it stopped charging so replaced it with this as that model was no longer available. Happy but not as good as last one as it duesnt hold its charge for as long so needs to be recharged much more often but does the job

With lights being on both the regular and magnifying mirror sides, it is a very good item and the 3 levels of brightness are great and I sometimes even just use its light instead of my ceiling light in the bedroom. Being USB rechargeable is another good function that beats other options in the market. Those are the elements I looked for so I’m happy with the item generally. The mirrors themselves work fine but they are both covered entirely with tiny little marks – the marks don’t bother me very much as they are indistinguishable from dust that collects on any mirror but I don’t understand why the mirrors are already flawed like this when they are new… Echoing with some other reviews, the base does need improvement – it is made of plastic which is a shame as the rest of the mirror is metal and so the plastic base is not very sturdy: it does stand the mirror up without problem and it’s fine if everything stand still but the mirror wobbles around a bit if you touch it and if I lift the mirror, the base doesn’t stay attached so I have to hold the base at the bottom and hold the mirror itself before trying to move it.

You have to attach the mirror with stands into the base and push in to hear the click so you know it’s sturdy. Strong mirror. One side is regular and other side is magnified. 3 levels of brightness and very bright best one I’ve ever had. On regular side I’ve stuck my sm magnifying round mirror and with the light it’s amazing I can literally see everything and even the things I don’t! Don’t think anyone would be disappointed with this product. It also comes with a charging cable which I used in one of my iPhone plugs. Will give it a full charge before u start using mirror properly.

Good overall in that,unlike many, it is an illuminated magnifying mirror, while many others just come with a non illuminated mirror to stick on.Some problems though: as pointed out by others, it often detached from the base on lifting. it is relatively small compared to others. Most significant though is that it switches on by a touch sensitive switch on the non magnifying side. If this fails I doubt it could be repaired as it is likely glued. I have had similar lamps fail before but been able to fix by bypassing this and adding an external switch. There is no visibly easy way to switch it on from the other side which is how I mainly use it for shaving, without flipping it over and back. This needs room if us is, like mine, on a narrow shelf against a wall. A switch on the base would be preferable.
