Did a lot of research, reading reviews before buying these chairs! And I wasn’t disappointed. They’re incredibly light, but take a lot of weight. I have arthritis in both knees, so wanted ones with arms I could push down on. I can sit down and get up with ease. The side table is sturdy and the hard plastic drinks holder is a bonus – much more stable than netting. Great that it folds away as well. Would definitely recommend these chairs – very comfortable indeed.

I’ve waited about a month before posting this review to give it a good try.If you’re of the larger variety like me, you’ll know how difficult it is to find a good sturdy chair – that you’re not scared every time you sit down that it’s going to break.Well this chair is super sturdy, weight limit is 23 stone so I can happily sit in this and have my granddaughter jump up on my lap and not be scared we’re both going to end up in a pike if scrap metal on the floor.It’s a great sit up straight chair if you’ve got bad back issues. The fold out table on the side is perfect for drinks and snacks or just somewhere to put your phone down. It is easy to fold down and the little carry handles are a great extra.My only nit pick (but my own fault for not reading the dimensions) is it could do with the seat bit being that bit longer in depth, other than that it’s perfect.Definitely worth spending that bit more for a much better product.

This chair sets itself apart from many others. It is study, comfortable and fits my huge backside in it (all 120kg) without a challenge.A small side table to and cup holder for the whiskey glass is a welcome bonus.

The packaging and delivery was a bit dodgy but the chairs were good when opened. Very lightweight and easy to carry. Bought a larger chair as I’m a big woman and these chairs have not disappointed. Both sturdy and roomy and have a convenient collapsible side table. Would recommend

I knew these were going to be good as I bought similar about 15 years ago, but I expected the dreaded “cost reduction” redesign over the years would have made them worse… But I needn’t have feared, these are far better than my old one, lighter, stronger, more comfortable, slightly larger seat, carry handle added etc etc. Can’t really fault them.

Very tightly sprung opening mechanism. Nearly had my thumb ripped off pushing it down to open when thumb was in the carry handle (ensure isn’t when opening!). Very, very difficult to close. Absolutely nothing like the video of the product which didn’t show how tight hinge prevents closure. Video shows it being easy to pull up with one hand. This is definitely NOT the case. Someone suggested kneeling on the seat which does not work. A YouTube video suggests pulling seat up from behind, but this needs strength to release the tight hinge.

Bought 2 x Timber Ridge Director’s Chairs for my husband as part of his Father’s day present. The chairs are lightweight, comfortable and very easy to put up. They have a very handy side table to put ur lunch, drink or cup of tea/coffee on. My daughter and I brought them to the beach this week and there was an outdoor movie on, which we watched (hour and a half) they seats where comfortable and very sturdy for sitting in for a long period of time. Very happy with the purchase.

Got these for car shows, my mate and I are 19 and 25 stone respectively and these coped fine. I also like that the seat is horizontal and doesn’t sag like most foldable chairs so it’s easy to push up out of. Also, no feet to sink in the ground, worth paying the extra.

I am delighted with this chair. I did a great deal of research to find a chair that met my requirements – a chair that would accommodate my width and weight comfortably and be high enough to get out of with ease – the little table is a bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending this chair – I intend purchasing another for my husband – he doesn’t need it for his weight or width but he, too, finds this chair very comfortable. It is lightweight and very portable. Excellent product.

I got this chair for my 83 year old Mum to have for stops when out in the car. We have tried out quite a few chairs but none were wide enough or sturdy enough to give her confidence with the support especially when she was getting out of the chair. This one ticks all the boxes and is really comfortable – it also looks great too. The only negative I have is that they had all sold out when I went to buy another one!!
