I bought this as a storage box. I thought it looked neat, appearing to be a seat. I didn’t really think I would use it.How wrong was I?This is extremely sturdy and strong. It looks good, it’s actually very comfortable and where I have placed it catches the early morning light. I now find myself sitting outside in the morning with a coffee, watching the birds. Ironically, I have yet to use it for storage. Later in the day, when I’m looking for a little shade, this is again my seat of choice. Never expected it to be that good (and I have a garden full of seating to pick from).Assembly was mostly straightforward. The instructions are reasonably good, in a pictorial way. there was just one point where I had to stop and look to see how two bits slotted together. the way it is constructed gives it far more strength than I imagined possible. I am a big guy and it takes my weight no problem.We have yet to see any rain, but judging from the way it is put together, I would say that there’s every chance this will keep most rain out. Time will tell, but I have high hopes.This was my first foray into plastic garden storage boxes, but if this is typical of the range, I’m going to be buying some more. Highly recommended as a seat, as a store.

Bench is firm and stable. Well worth the money. Assembly seemed simple but became slightly complicated when attempting to force the pieces into slots. Small amounts of water from rain manage to get in though at the ends along with small spiders. This is very disappointing. This leakage is only on one end but that is enough to cause some problems. Otherwise it looks very good.

Not to bad to put together, it two of us about an hour as some pieces need forcing in but once up it looks as though it would do the job we have had no rain yet so I can’t say if it is water tight.

I found the bench fairly easy to put together by myself, had trouble with a couple of bits and the instructions for the bottom middle foot didn’t seem right, nothing really serious. Although I would recommend the use of a rubber mallet to aid assembly.Being basically black the bench heats up well in the sun. All in all we find it a sturdy bench that we can both use and we are small people. The instructions quote a max load of 272kg/600 lb for the seat.

Nice bench, reasonably easy assembly.Only downside is the storage area isn’t completely watertight. It was fine during a couple of showers, but the first time we had a decent downpour the base had water puddles at both ends. (see photos)Will be fine for summer storage of cushions etc (the reason I bought it) but no good for winter storage too ….. a bit disappointing

I bought this as it is much stronger than most competing products, and the bench has no “give” when sat on due to 2 metal strengthening bars. Also totally waterproof despite our Scottish weather.I also looks good in our back garden patio.Highly recommend this seat if you want a garden seat that lets you store things as well.

No difficulty in putting this bench together though a spare pair of hands is helpful, once assembled it’s nice and strong with plenty of storage space. I use it for parcel deliveries, much better than having them left behind the bin. Goes very nicely with the plum slate we have around the house.

Took two of us an hour and a half to put together!! Really good though once built with good storage.We bought the recommended bench cushion to go with it – it’s fine but about 1-2” bigger than the bench seat so curls up at the edge!

Great addition to the garden, enough storage for around 10 seat cushions and other bits and pieces. Takes about an hour to put together, looks good too and comfortable to sit on. No Leakage in the rain either

Not waterproof. Difficult to assemble with pieces not slotting together easily. Seat is warped and doesn’t close properly. Looks ok, would be nice if better finish and build quality.

Bought this a few months ago and I love it. My mum got one at the same time and also loves it.Putting it together was easy, took 2 people 30 mins. Watch out for the metal strengthening rods, you need to read the instructions carefully as one goes on in the opposite way from the other. Lovely and comfortable for 2 people to sit on. The storage is useful. Only drawback you may find is that if the sun has been shining on it for a while, it is very hot on your rear. My mum uses a bench cushion so not a problem, ours is under a porch roof so the sun does not always get to it in the same way. We did not attach the lock as it sat at the front and we felt it could catch on your legs.

Acts very well as a seat and a box for garden tools. I can get my Bosch Rotak Lawn Mower inside when I collapse it. However I find it is more useful to fill with all the other Garden kit that needs to be put away.
