Pay for what you get
The bench was not easy to put together, the instructions could have been clearer. Reading the previous reviews were misleading as they said it was easy to put together, there are gaps and the screws don’t go in that easy. On the plus side it arrived very quick.

looks good when assembled
looks nice when assembled; however the tonges were too big to enable easy screwing without going through the sides, which pushed the adjoining parts away from each other…i would replace these with much smaller round dowels, perhaps, which would then leave more room either side of these to screw into a bigger area of wood…also the seat part underside is slightly too long (the two end cross pieces need moving in slightly) which means that screwing the seat and ends to-gether with-out gaps is virtually impossible

Strong and robust
My grandfather was a cabinet maker and although l have not inherited his skills l have inherited his critical eye. Some of the joints are not pretty. However it is for outside use so it is acceptable. It appears to be strong and robust.

Disappointing product that needed a bit more care in the manufacture.
Some very poor joints which leave gaps and the uprights forming the sides don’t line up with the arms. I’m going to have to sand these mismatches down to make the bench presentable…… Poor quality control I think!Also, the dowels used to fix the backrest slats in position look awful!

Shoddy
Poor quality wood with tear out. Mortice and tenon joints that don’t fit. Unclear instructions. Then when you put it together it feels unstable and weak with too much movement. Wished I’d spent a bit more and bought something of higher quality.

Review Title
Read the construction instructions carefully. Asssemble it. Sit on it then unscrew several pairs of screws & replace in different order to produce a squarer bench.

This bench arrived on time and package was damaged but the bench was ok and easy to build although screws provided were substandard so we used other screws

I can’t think of anything to complain of about the Bench. It is Wobble free and, weather permitting, I shall be spending a lot time sitting on it.

Good for the price
Quite a good sturdy bench,had to bodge a bit, ie. fill in some gaps where water would collect in the joints and drill a couple of holes that didn,t quite line up but overall a good bench for the price paid

Good value but vague instructions
Good value for money but the instructions (just one flimsy piece of paper with faded illustrations) were inadequate. Owing to this, it took me much longer to put together.

Supplied with a split rear leg that had been glued and pinned. Not purchased as a second so do not expect this from any supplier.Not yet responded to a return request or to supply a replacement.
